Hey everyone! If you could make up a special ability to have programmed into a pokemon game, what would it be? Post it here, but keep them reasonable. No ridiculous, uber special abilities that make the pokemon invincible. I'll start-

Calluses- A special ability that probably a fighting pokemon like Machoke or Machamp would have. If a pokemon with this special ability gets switched into battle while spikes have been used against you, calluses would make the pokemon unaffected by the spikes. The pokemon would also have a stronger resistance to heat/ fire attacks.

invincisight - Doesnt allow it to lower accuracy (Ghost pokemon only)

toocheapifyouaskme- Pokemon loses 1/16 HP each turn. Attacks received do only 1/2 damage.

Grounded: Makes Ground type attacks hit Flying types and Pokemon with Levitate.

Err...I can't think of a name for it, but some ability that halfs the damage taken from Ice attacks. It can be possessed by some Dragon-types, I guess. =/

I'd like to see an ability that made Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar immune to psychic attacks. If Nintendo is going to keep saying ghosts are resistant to psychic attacks, then they better back that up.

Already thought of a few Fire Abilties.;)

Spreading Heat: Fire attacks are Faster and Damages both oppenents in a Double Battle if sunny.

Boil: Chances of scoring more damage on water pokemon and reduce damage from Water attacks.

Sun Dance: Sunny Weather will last for 8 turns instead of 5.

True. But then Gengar would be even harder to take out!
