About storage...

If they have a storage feature, would you like to be able to watch your Pokemon?

For example, lets say you put in a Blastoise, Pikachu, Golbat, and lots of other Pokemon in. You can go to a watch Pokemon feature, and it will show a field (like Oak's Lab in the anime). There are different areas you can go to, but only a few Pokemon are viewable at a time. You could go to the field, and see some of your field-dwelling Pokemon running around and Pikachu scurrying through the field. To a cave, and you could see some dark-types sneaking, fighting-types training, and your Golbat hanging from the ceiling. You go to the coast and see Water-Types wandering on the shore and swimming in the sea; your Blastoise swims up to the shore and wanders around. It has some falts, but overall seems like it would be simple to execute.

What do you think of my idea?

I really like that Idea!

There could be issues with pokemon running through each other...and things like that...but I don't claim to know much about programmin ^^;

It could be like the friend areas in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, correct?

Yeah, I guess. Haven't played the game. But they could probably make the bigger ones immobile, or make it so they have little bubbles around them, and if a Pokemon senses that there is a bubble ahead they change direction.

That sounds like a neat idea!
I've always imagined something like that, an area where you could leave your pokemon and watch them play and hang around, you know, stuff like that.

Yes, I think that's a great idea, but it should be fast and easy to use.

Its a birlliant idea, and something I have wanted to be exectued for ages. Being able to walk around with your character would be great, and we know its possible to have pokemon like this, as it was done in Pokemon Snap, so we know pokemon can be around each other, with out this being to hard to do.

It's cool (reminds me somewhat of the picture-taking option they had in Stadium), but I think you're underestimating how hard it would be to do. They'd have to make new animations for all 500+ (I'm guessing) Pokemon doing various things like flying around or running around, which would take a while. Just look at Pokemon Snap--that game showed Pokemon in the wild with lots of different animations that didn't appear in Stadium, but they only had 59 Pokemon in that game. To do it for all of them would take a long time.

But yeah, it's a good idea. Maybe if they ever want to make a Snap sequel, they'd have the motivation to start coming up with more animations for all of the Pokemon. I kind of hope they do, one day.

No, just walking animations, which you can assume will be easy. Some bigger Pokemon would be stationary, so really only about 300 walking/running animations. It might just be a Stadium game, so there would be a lot of space left after just battles.

And they could so totally use the models from the actual battling part of the game.

And with Pokemon actually moving and hitting each other in battles, the walking animations would be there already.

MAN that would rock!
