~Academy for Young Witches/Wizards... Pre-schoolized~

Musical Mayhem

~Simple and Clean~
Magic. For thousands of years it’s been protected, exposed, un-exposed, re-exposed, and disputed. Those who bear it alone can protect it, as well as expose it. They have all the power over it. Not. The people who have carried the powers of magic thus far have only had teensy tastes of its great potential and its wondrous powers to bend reality, alter time, control the very essence of the elements, play with the mind, and everything and anything else both imaginable and unimaginable. For years it has been old cronies who’ve kept the most power, until the next generation comes into play… a generation of preschoolers.

~La Histoire de Magique… sort of~

Wizards and other various historians couldn’t seem to come up with a solution to when magic had come around… however it is known that the older one gets, the stronger and more defined their designated powers become, no matter what kind of creature one is. So a council of the oldest, and most powerful beings was made. Various creatures that knew the extent of their powers. Obviously some creatures that weren’t immortal had to continue being replaced, the more humane ones, witches and wizards mostly. The others really have outlived their stay. But they are still there, watching over all of magic, striking down those who threaten to expose it (both good/evil critters are on the council and are in agreement to keep magic a secret).

Meanwhile, in the “normal” world of humans, while the council goes on, hidden in New York City (Magical Bookstore: you give them and we POOF them away at a low price!!!), other magical creatures move on, living out their lives either disguised as humans, being humans, or disguised as other animals for those of animal-like dissent (unicorn farms anyone?). The most of any one kind of magical creature are witches/wizards, since they are really magical “creatures” per say, more like humans with special powers.

No extremely large outbursts of magical exposure came, there was a rough patch during the 1600’s when people were burned at the stake, but besides that, no one even suspected that magic was real, and those who did were considered loonies. In more recent years however, the threat has become real.

~The plottle~

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),

Hello Parent/Guardian of *insert child’s name here*. We have sensed that your child possess great power, maybe great enough to alter reality itself. We here at the Council of Magic feel that it would be for the best if your child comes to stay with us at a preschool facility called Academy of Gifted Witches/Wizards. They will learn all about their powers, the history of magic, and their ABCs and 123s of course. They will be returned to your custody in time for kindergarten or any extra training you may have in mind for them. Please see all of the forms and map we have attached to this letter for you.

Best Regards,
Alucard Von Claud

Vampire Representative of the Council of Magic.

About 10 sets of witch/wizard parents have received this letter from Mr. Von Claud for the release of their children to a private school in the mountains of Pennsylvania, a school to train their admittedly dangerous powers so that they will not use them against the council or for exposure. At first the school seemed alright to the little kiddies, whom were kept separate at first, who got to play outdoors with one of their parents whom originally accompanied them to the Facility. They learned normal preschool things and were quite happy at the time their parent/guardian left. Each class was taught by a witch or wizard teacher until after the parents left and now each class is taken over by the council.

However, not all is as it seems at this happy preschool… each child is taken in for tests daily and they seem to be becoming increasingly painful. The food is cafeteria style, (ex: bad meatloaf) and not nearly nutritious enough for a growing child. They are allowed outside in a courtyard with a small playground, courtyard meaning that there are brick walls surrounding it. The kids have now been moved in with a roommate in the spacious castle due to the increasing arrival of Council members wanting their own rooms. Each also received a tiny band around their wrists, resembling a hemp bracelet, each with its own specific color (so be sure to SPECIFY what color yours is and check the others before posting your own color) that keeps track of them wherever they are in the building on a large screen in the lobby with colored dots. They’ve also stopped doing all laundry except for one single outfit, matching the color of said bracelet.

To the children, the school has lost its fun, and the magic has lost its magic. They are becoming increasingly afraid of the looming council and want to escape. Escape has become the goal. All they’d have to do is get past the staff, guards, babysitter, and whole Magical Council. But with powers like theirs, what could go wrong? Everything.

SIGN UPS:

Name: (It’s a NORMAL name, now seriously guys, these kiddies are still human.)

Gender: (Male. Female.)

Age: (Preschool/Kindergarten Age, so 3-6ish).

Description: (You know the drill with this one; I want to be able to visualize your little kid.)

Personality: (How they act, what do they do, I’d like about 5 lines minimum pleases)

Power: (Remember these guys actually HAVE some pretty uber powers… so go wild. But since they are little they also need some uber restrictions, magic is less powerful in the younger age.)

History: (Well, it won’t be very long, but I do need a bit of background on your charri)

Other: (Anything else?)

My Sign-Up:

Name: Whitney Mimlestine

Gender: Female

Age: 5

Description: Whitney is very petite, even in terms of preschoolers. She has a tiny, heart shaped face, lined with freckles across the bridge of her nose and cheeks. Framing this is her shimmering straw colored hair. It’s always pulled away from her face with some sort of little colored bow or barrette. Behind her ears, also keeping her hair back is usually some sort of writing utensil, a pen or a paint brush. Occasionally, a wet paint brush is tucked there and drips colored paint into her hair, staining it for a few days or until she washes it. Whitney has two big chocolately brown eyes which seem to take up quite a lot of her sweet little face. She’s also always seen wearing an oversized purple beret, formerly her mother’s, given to her the day she went to the AoGW.

Whitney’s tiny arms and legs are also freckled and very petite, allowing her to slip through tiny places with the easiest grace. Her tracking bracelet is purple, matching her oversized beret her plum corduroy overalls, worn on a daily basis. Underneath her purple overalls is a lighter lilac colored t-shirt with a picture of a tiny dragon doodled on it in purple Sharpie by Whitney herself. This is Pepper, her tiny “imaginary” (aka REAL) dragon, whom pretends to be stuffed most of her life. Pepper, a tiny pink stuffed dragon, is always being carried around in Whitney’s arms, she never lets go of her. In Whitney’s overall pocket is an assortment of pencils and markers, which all have magical binding spells on them to keep her from using her powers. Whitney has a pair of tiny purple shoes with once-white tips, now doodled all over with cute pictures.

Personality: Whitty is a quiet thinker, preferring to keep to herself until she really knows the person she plans on talking to. She will observe the other students from the back of the class, never seeming to pay attention, but spreading random doodles around her papers with her specially magicked pencil. She often gets in trouble with the teachers for this; however she aces most of her quizzes and things with ease. The truth is, she is very smart and her doodles usually have to do with her notes. Each student and subject doesn’t exist in her mind until she doodles it, since she is so used to doodling things into reality. However, once she gets to know a student, she is quite the imaginative thinker, often leading the kids in little parades in Music, coming up with things to play on the mini-playground, and always leading them into some sort of trouble.

Whitty, however, doesn’t get much respect, because she is too kind and is often taken advantage of by the staff and Council. She ends up doing countless of their chores (she’s even cleaned the toilets) and is often quite exhausted by these activities, especially since they’re usually over nap time. So, needless to say, towards the end of the day, Whitty begins having meltdowns when denied paper, food, or proper amounts of playtime. She is also a bit spoiled from her former ability to gain whatever she wanted simply by drawing it (despite the fact that it never turned out quite right) and Whitty has lost her sense of pride without her magic doodles, and she is hell-bent to get it back.

Power: Whitty has the power to draw things into reality, or even out of reality. She can change whatever she wants with the simple stroke of the pencil/crayon/marker/paints. However, this is all very dependant on how WELL the picture is drawn, and Whitty being a well, 5 year old, can draw about the level of stick figures and blobs. So things always come out a bit… odd. Her most successful drawing is Pepper, who actually came out right.

History: Whitty was born on April 14th, 2002 to Paige and Conner Mimelstine. They already had one daughter, Emily, who is now sixteen. Emily has the power to freeze time for about a minute; however she can’t freeze witches/wizards. (She’s the babysitter if you haven’t guessed). Paige and Conner were thrilled to have another baby girl, despite the EXTREME age difference and obvious jealousy that Emily held towards her sister. This caused quite a lot of sibling rivalry, and as if that weren’t enough, the first time Whitty picked up a pencil and scribbled everywhere at the age of two, she created a floating blob of black scribbles. Her parents were stunned, being very low power witches/wizards themselves, they had been stunned at Emily’s power, but Whitney’s was completely unheard of. They took her to visit a Centaur, master of psychology up at an eyeglasses store where he was cloaked as a human. He immediately alerted the council of this disaster, despite the parents’ joy at their daughter’s brilliant powers.

Emily was sent to a normal school until her parents received the ominous sealed letter with no return address and leased her, for the best, to the Academy. Her sister went along, as did her mother for the Parents Tag Along Month, when all the other parents were there as well. Her sister was hired due to her brilliant powers to be their “babysitter” for when the Councilors were too lazy.

Other: Whitney has a pet Dragon named Pepper who appears to be stuffed in front of the council, however Whitty and her friends know better…

Name: Ayden Bowers

Gender: Male

Age: 5

Description: Ayden has spiky blonde and brown hair which always seems to look rather greasy and unwashed even if it is. He is seen as being quite short for a five year old and as so his clothes made for a five year old do not actually fit just right so they are quite baggy but they don’t bother Ayden much. Nobody seems to know why but even if he slept for two days running he would always look sleepy with black marks under his eyes. He is dressed simple in just a plain red T-shirt and dark blue pants which the pockets are usually jammed full of lollypops and their wrappers. He wears his brother’s old black with white skulls bandana around his neck like a scarf. He wears a red tracker bracelet.

Personality: Ayden is seen as literally a spoilt brat by many although those who know him properly realise he just like’s attention because he never receives enough, in his eyes, from his family. Being a little video game freak, caused mainly by his older brother, he tends to mimic the people and growing up as that can seem very impulsive at times. One thing that baffles a lot of older people, is how he is overly rough with a lot of other boys, although this isn’t always the case, but is very friendly towards girls. He has an unhealthy obsession with lollypops and tends to become rather violent if anybody threatens to take his lollypops but these are also the most effective way to keep him calmed down. Because of his tendency to eat a lot of lollypops Ayden is almost always hyperactive and once the hyper-ness has gone he will usually just fall asleep on the spot because he’s used up so much energy.

Power: Ayden, being obsessed with video games, has literally mimicked what his favourite characters do, such as sending a freezing cold wave in a straight line or a large meteor like ball which travels slowly. His most dangerous is when he gets very angry or when he’s in a tantrum and his eyes seem to glaze over white and he pretty much just goes utterly out of control although he can be easily calmed with a lollypop. A now dormant power was constantly changing electrical flows, mostly turning on and off lights.

History: Ayden was born into a large family containing his two parents, a single older brother who just plays video games all the time, which later in life affected Ayden, a twin sister, and three older sisters. In this family only Ayden and his brother had powers, not counting the parents, and his brother’s only power was that he could pick up on information quickly and would never forget it. Ayden’s parents were even more baffled when the invitation appeared, as far as they knew nobody outside of the family knew of Ayden’s powers although this suspected that Ayden had probably done something without there knowledge and gotten attention from another.

There was a child here. They're gone now.
Name: Cory “Cubby” Baker

Age: 4

Gender: Male

Appearance:
Cory, or Cubby as he likes to be called, is the type of child someone would immediately take pity on. He is the average size for a child of his age, yet a fair bit lighter. If someone was to pull of Cubby’s shirt they would see his ribs standing out against his chest. He is barely anything more than skin and bones, his muscles seem to have wasted away from lack of nourishment. If he was older, one could assume he was starving himself for attention, but due to his age this could not be a factor. Despite the fact he has gone hungry, it seems that he would have a naturally thin build if he were to have more meat on his bones. His right arm features a scar spanning from his wrist to the side of his elbow, which at times seems to be tinted another colour other than his skin.

He has a wide, tear drop-shaped head, which house his facial features quite well. The most obvious, despite their bland colouring, are his watery blue eyes. They are a little larger than one would expect, and convey most of Cubby’s emotions. His nose is also a little large in comparison to his age, but despite this is probably very normal. His mouth is small with thin lips, which rarely crack open to talk. His skin is light to medium tanned. The most noticeable thing on this little boy’s head is his bizarrely-coloured hair. Who can honestly say they have seen a young child with snow white hair before? This is what Cubby features, and is not caused by albinism or a hairdresser; he had accidentally drained the colour of it when he was very small. He likes it, despite the fact it stubbornly sticks up when he gets out of bed.

Cubby is lucky that he was given a white tracker bracelet from the start, as he was able to choose what outfit he wore considering they are all white. His shirt is a plain polo shirt, just as snowy as his hair. Likewise with his knee-length board shorts. His shoes and socks feature the same pure hue. Covering his shirt but not appearing so is a vest that can be zipped up, yet the young boy does not do so due to the hassle of getting the zipper connected. He always has his white baseball cap on; despite the fact it would look more in place on the head of someone at lest four times his size. He randomly chooses what position it will take for the day, even if it does end up flopping over his face by the end of the day. He also wears a pair of white leather gloves for a reason, which will be explained in Powers.

Personality: Cubby is one of those kids who try to be friendly and talk to people, but feels awkward in doing so. He often messes up what someone would generally say, or accidentally point out something bad about them (EG: “Hey, you smell funny!”) even if he was trying with all his might to actually say something nice. So one could easily assume that young Cubby is a lonely child. He can be a good friend to hang around, with an astounding grasp of humour even at this young age. He is of an average intelligence yet this doesn’t show as he avidly reads (simple) science books, leading to the assumption that he is intelligent. He loves nature and everything about it, and likes to protect small animals and insects if he finds they’re being “bullied”. He is a little highly strung and jumps at loud noises, and is deathly afraid of the dark. He doesn’t seem to understand cause and effect, so he can hold something that hurts him like an ant and not understand why his finger it hurting him. He flat-out refuses to do things he doesn't like, he is no pushover. He doesn't understand pushovers at all. He is quite an active child and enjoys partaking in many fun activities, if there is any. He is a naturally curious child, and cannot stand not picking up something that makes him confused, even if he has unknowingly picked up something dangerous.

Powers: Cubby has an interesting power to say the least. If he touches something colourful with his bare right hand, the colour seems to seep into his fingers, causing said colourful thing to turn white. After gathering enough colour he is able to unleash a small elemental shot, such as a fireball from his mouth or rocks from his other arm. In fact, all attacks are channelled through his mouth or through his left hand (Which is often used to channel earth, ice or psychic attacks and nothing else). In order to see how much colour he has absorbed, the scar on his arm acts as a gauge. If it is fully a certain colour, he can send a shot about the size of a soccer ball at whomever he is aiming at. If it is a psychic sort of attack, he must hit the head or it won’t work. The colours to elements shall be explained in other.

History: Cubby had a strange start to life, being born from a prostitute mother and an unknown father in New York. His poor mother didn’t know what to do with the child, and so took a leaf out of a Harry Potter and dumped the child on a small family’s footstep with the note, “Hello! Please look after me, I am too little to live by myself”. She left the boy in a small basket and hurried off to get back to business. The man of the house opened the door when he heard a small child’s cry. He immediately consulted his wife, and decided to take in the tiny boy.

So Cubby lived in a nice suburban house complete with parents, three-year-old sister and seven-year-old brother. His foster brother disliked him, and when his parents weren’t looking he’d always mistreat the young one by taking away his toys, burning him with a hot spoon, etc. Somewhere in Cubby’s slightly foggy mind he unlocked a new feeling: Rage. He touched his then brown hair, which gave him enough colour to fire a few little rocks at his other brother. These sharp stones cut up the child badly, and he ran to his parents to tell his story. They did not believe him. So the little boy set his own goal to prove that Cubby had hurt him with rocks, and so often annoyed the baby even when in his parents’ view. Little did he know that rocks weren’t all that Cubby could fire.

Cubby was wearing a red shirt and was watching something on TV (not that his baby mind could really comprehend it). His nasty older brother was reading the TV guide, and he found something that would really scare the young one. He didn’t really know the movie, only that it had lots of blood. The then two-year-old Cubby screamed as a big, ferocious dog leapt at the camera as the then nine-year-old changed it. Cubby burst into tears, hugging his shirt which slowly turned white. The older boy was being reprimanded as Cubby stood up to face him, jaw slightly agape. The boy thumbed his nose which caused a fireball to hit him in the face. Cubby’s foster parents screamed. What had just happened?

They dumped the demon child in an adoption agency, warning the carer of his specialness. The carer laughed it off. Little Cubby got around fine in the adoption agency, shakily gaining friends and making enemies. A few months later he was torn away from this by a pretty young black woman. She herself was a medium-powered witch, confident she could take on any problem child. Unbeknownst to her the problem child was a young wizard.

She witnessed his power when he was three and a half as he took some blue off the play equipment to make wet sand to mould. She was a very law-abiding witch, and so went to the bookstore where the council was stationed. She told of the young child’s powers, and seven months afterwards received a letter for the young boy to go to a prestigious magic school. Parent-Tag-Along month was an exciting time for Cubby, who explored the entire school, wondered what he'd be learning and everything a curious little kid would think. Unfortunately for the little boy, this school was not like that shiny building on TV... It was a lot worse.

Other: These are the colour/element correlations:
Red/Fire
Yellow/Lightning
Blue/Water
Light Blue/Ice
Brown/Earth
Green/Plant life
Grey/Air
Purple/Psychic, confusion
Pink/Psychic, hallucinations (Scary or pleasant, depend on his feelings)
Black/Psychic, energy absorption
Orange/Random, powered up, has tendency to make Cubby faint.

Rawr, uberness >:3

Thank god. UBERNESS!!! Hooray, my biggest weakness has keeled over! Maybe I have a chance, possibly...

Name: Brad Matthews

Gender: The one that is not a girl, a.k.a male.

Age: 4

Description: Brad was born in a normal home, but his embryo was altered when he was in the womb. He is albino, but with a few different traits. He was also given a melanistic gene in his skin cells, so he has red eyes and pitch black skin. His hair is white and gold, and curly. His hair is in an Afro, and a pretty small one at that. His parents are very rich (they did pay for his genetic alterations) and buy him nicer clothes than a normal adult, let alone a normal child, would wear. He wears a white silk shirt, and then a tiger fur jacket. Where he lives, it is extremely cold, so he needs fur. On his head is a small white tiger fur cap of the Renaissance style. Of course, his dad hunted these down on “business” trips, so they can’t really be bought. In a return to conventional attire, Brad wears dark blue designer jeans, and black suede shoes. His hands are usually covered in red gloves, made of elephant leather, and studded with diamonds and ivory (mostly ivory, spikes inlaid with diamonds.) His physique isn’t typical for a four year old. He is not fat- in fact, he has a very slim build. However, constant fighting (see history) got him into shape. Now accustomed to fights and heavy exercise, he is muscular, but not too much. I mean, he is a four year old. He is 3 ft tall, exactly.

Personality: Brad was born a prodigy, and was speaking and writing easily by age 2. He, like his parents, is very cultured- he reads harder books, writes, and enjoys the sophisticate life. He is calm, and hates socializing- the other kids in his hometown never really liked him, to say the least. He is quiet, but also curious- the odd indiscretions of the council spark his logic. He, around others, sits, and stays to himself, often reading Tolstoy or Dostoevsky, both from his home of Russia. He also reads newspapers or goes on the computer. He sees himself as an older person in a four year old’s body. However, he, due to age, occasionally has giddy moments of childish wonder- but as he learns, from life and libraries both, these moments fade in number. He, due to laws in his hometown, has drank alcohol before. In times of relaxation, he enjoys a good brandy or rum. However, he knows of the fact that he shouldn’t, but considering he never does anything else wrong, he writes it off as his one little sin.
Power: Yeah. He is like an angel and a demon (just look at his personality.) However, he is still very young, so all he really has is the ability to use hellish fire, and the ability to use heavenly lightning. He is surrounded by an invisible aura, which heals minor bruises and cuts to minor wounds. Major wounds are healed naturally. Of course, Brad knows of these, but doesn’t like using them- they’ll bring him attention. In a fight, however, attention is already given. Then, he uses them… A LOT.

History: Brad’s life first grew odd before he was born when he was edited at a testing facility in a South Pacific island. After his birth, his two white parents moved- to Siberia. There, Brad grew up. He always had his powers, first exhibited when he burnt a mad dog attacking him on the street with hellish black fire. His parents were amazed, and… scared. They bought him nice things, and got him educated very well. He is quite cultured, like his parents, but his many days fighting in the streets of the small town he lived near has given him street cred. Seems a lot of Americans moved to Siberia, and he lived near their center. He got the letter one day, and immediately went off, hoping to escape the fighting he had grown to be annoyed with.

Other: In Brad’s home, kids are allowed alcohol, so he does drink it occasionally, due to it not being allowed normally at school. His parents are still appealing the case. Other oddities will be covered in personality. His dad is bloodthirsty for exotic animals, and cheap sometimes. That is why Brad has clothes with origins on animals. His tracker bracelet is black, pitch black, black as night, etc. He can speak Russian, but won’t in this RPG- I can’t really find Russian typeface, now can I?

Okie dokies....

~Neon~: Oooh my gosh so cute I just want to squeeze him! creative power too. accepted

Skeith: AH SORRY. I changed my name because this is my name on all the other forums I'm on... so I figured meh, why not. Although I do miss the old one... I dunno. Might change it back eventaully. reserved.

The Doctor: Also reserved.

darkbradlor: a few problems. First, is he STILL red eyed and black skinned (as in dark black, not african american) because that would be a major problem. Also, gotta loose the attire buddy. I have NO idea who would give those things to a four year old and besides, they would have been taken away and possibly sold at the Academy and they need to match his tracker (somewhat). The only problem with the personality is the reading (*maybe, depending on how hard) and he'd probably have some alchohol withdrawel. And I don't know much about alchohol but due to his small body wouldn't he only be able to drink a little before becomign intoxicated? Not sure on that one, correct me if I'm wrong. The power is okay, maybe tone it down a little for the teeny four year old.... for once the demon/angel thing may actually fit. So for now, TEH PENDING!

-feels confused and sad-

Name: Nathan (referred to Natty) Donner

Gender: Female

Age: 5

Description:

Natty is a girl that is of average height of females in her age group. Slim because of the malnutrition of the academy and also physically she has always been on the skinny side, but she still has a little meat on her bones because she actually tries to eat the meatloaf and other disgusting foods. Her mother once said that if you don’t eat substantial amounts of food, then you’ll become a skeleton and die. Natty’s mother probably was joking at the time, but now Natty takes this very seriously and eats anything she can get her hands on in hopes that she won’t ‘die’. Her hair is dark brown is very shiny and cascades down her back like a waterfall. Her hair stops below her waist and oftentimes when she sits on her chair she tends to sit on her hair as well. Her blue eyes are bright, and have intelligence and life to them. They fit oddly on her thin face, and are rather large and watery. Natty has rather pale skin, and often when someone sees her they think of her as the ghost of a little child rather than a cherubic kid.

Natty has an orange tracking bracelet. Bright orange clothing adorns her and helps take away the image of the phantom child she looks like. She wears a bright orange dress that is sleeveless and goes a little below her knee. There are two huge pockets in the front, and each in the middle have a big, plastic glossy button. She wears a shirt inside that is long sleeved. The shirt is white with imprinted designs of light orange flowers. She also wears thin, long socks that are striped like candy canes, except that the red stripes are replaced with orange ones. Her shoes are shiny and bright orange too. She also wears an orange headband with a daisy on it on her head. Natty also wears a gold locket on a chain that her mother gave to her, and she keeps it invisible for most of the time (see powers).

Personality:

Natty isn’t extremely reserved and answers questions willingly. She tells the truth for most things, but is a bit oblivious. If someone asked her how they looked, she would tell her thoughts because it is the ‘truth’ to her. While the person is expecting her to say “great!” or something of that matter, she would probably say “the dress is crinkled” or “your skin looks horrible with that lipstick”. She likes talking to others, and is actually a thoughtful person who desperately wants to please others. But because of the school, she has become a sad, lonely child who often stares into space. She does the school’s dirty work like cleaning places because it provides her a quiet time where she can think and she never really minded cleaning in the first place. Natty has a high level of intelligence, often figuring out things normal kids don’t. She often wonders about the world around her, and her goal is to figure out why things happen. An example of that is why the sky turns into night, unlike many other kids who are afraid of the dark, Natty isn’t. Instead she often wonders why the world turns dark. Natty is a curious girl, with a realistic edge to her, and desperately needs a haircut.

Power:

Natty can turn things invisible. A crayon, a bug, a pink dress-she can turn that all invisible. People can feel the silk on the dress but cannot see the dress at all. She can turn people invisible, and if the translucent person looks at their body they’ll see nothingness. Of course, this doesn’t sound like a pretty powerful tool, but if she grew older and tried Natty could turn a city invisible. Imagine that, invisible people who can’t see their clear houses or unseen cars. Also, Natty can make things stay invisible until, well, the time she dies.

Of course when no one else sees the things Natty makes invisible, Natty herself can see what she made imperceptible. The invisible things are covered with a strange, blue liquid that doesn’t drip on the ground. It just surrounds the item like saran wrap. Of course though, she has figured out that no one else can see the blue objects.

Natty hasn’t mastered this yet at all, all she has managed to do is make tiny objects invisible for 5 days or so. And of course she doesn’t know what her powers are capable of, and just does it for fun. At times, she also makes things invisible acciedently, but by just touching the object she can make it visible again. By just touching the object she can make it invisible or the opposite. If an object turns visible after 5 days, by just instantly touching it, Natty can make it invisible again. With this she can also make herself invisible too.

History:

Natty was born one day to two parents, who were just in their early twenties (fresh and just out of college). From the ultra sound it seemed that they were going to have a boy, so they came up with the name Nathan. Imagine their surprise when a bawling baby girl came out, though they still named her Nathan (as her dad mentioned ‘just for a good joke’)! Natty was a little child who was just a tad over the 4 pound mark. With good nutrition and caring parents she overcame that and soon enough she was like any average infant. Her parents were minor witches and wizards who weren’t brilliant at magic. When they found out that Natty could turn things invisible, they were happy. What more could they ask for? They had a healthy child, a good life, and nothing really to worry about. Natty’s dad worked, and all her mom had to do was stay home and care for her. It was frustrating for her mother because Natty kept turning things invisible on accident and guests would trip over a rubber toy that they couldn’t see.

Natty was a happy child, still on the skinny side, but healthy nevertheless. Her mother kept her prim and fed, often enjoying putting her daughter’s hair into cute ponytails, and it was during this time that Natty’s cheeks were chubby, and she had that cute image of a toddler. Her mother was still correcting her blunt speech when a letter in an envelope arrived in the mail for them.

Her mother, after reading it was rather shocked that her daughter had incredible power. Though she was more shocked at the fact that her ‘sweet little Natty’ had to be sent to some academy, for couldn’t someone teach her at home? After a long talk with Natty’s father, they finally agreed to send her to the school. Her mother went with her for the Parent Tag-Along month, and it seemed alright so she left the school in high spirits. Hugging her daughter with a smile on her face, while at the same time sobbing and whispering about how she would miss her little girl. She gave Natty the locket, with the picture of the three of them inside and left. After that, Natty has been eating the dreaded meatloaf and doing all sorts of filthy chores.

Other: Nada.

If you want me to change her personality, I will. She is...a little too weird for a 5 year old! D:
This is a short sign up....I'm kind of mad about that, but I would have put more except that I don't have any time!

Mind if I reserve? I find this is interesting, and quite apparently, it doesn't seem like I'm not the only one. :D

Could I have a reserved spot? This sounds interesting, and it sounds cool too.

But why is everyone changing their names! D:
-feels confused and sad-

Yay I'm not the only one whos confused and saddened *hugs to everyone who feels this way*

I know what you mean! masterwannabe became Draco Malfoy, AegisX is Archmeides, why is this happening?!

I have several conspiracy theories behind this but I'm assuming its because they got bored of their names (though it is annoying that they all changed it at the same time). Sigh it's going to take a while to adjust though I'll probably end up calling people by there old names anyway like I'll never stop calling Razor Shiftry, Meta XD.

Skeith: AH SORRY. I changed my name because this is my name on all the other forums I'm on... so I figured meh, why not. Although I do miss the old one... I dunno. Might change it back eventaully. reserved.

Eh call yourself whatever you like I'll always find out who you are *evil grin/chuckle* and I see your reasoning behind it, its useful just to have one nickname, heck I have Demonday17 and Bebop on other forums but I'd rather just be known as Skeith but others like it too -_- darn it.

Anyway there is more to this post than name change peeves I also have a question to ask about my character. Would it be alright for me to make him have a "twin" of sorts? I can make his power work regardless of your decision but I need to know so I can start work on him. Thanks for reserving me and I look forward to your answer.
