My classic duo of Treecko and Charmander has the Treecko (Lanna) as a rather careless person, sticking in the odd pessimistic remark here and there. Chu-Ru the Charmander is cheerful, reckless, perfect for annoying someone like Lanna. Somehow they manage to get along with each other enough to stay alive.
Throw a quiet Absol named Gamora who thinks the entire world is full of wackos and Zigzy, a kleptomaniac Zigzagoon into the mix, and you have the original Team Quiks.

Well, since my starter and partners are based off of Pokémon my RP characters have, they kinda already have personalities of their own. xD
Omi the Espeon is a smart alec, know-it-all who's advice can get annoying, but really is for the better. Lime the Typhlosion is sarcastic and arrogant, but strong. Faint the Charmander WOULD be dark and brooding and hateful of the world if she were a shiny (because my theory is shinies are outcasts of the Pokémon world, because of their different coloring and others of their species don't trust what they can't explain) and Suki the Skitty is.... Stupidly adorable. xDD

Bulbasaur has a personality of just hatred and dispisness. Infact, in my eyes he would even kill his teammates if they annoyed him XD Mudkip is a worried, kind and helpful leader, but when she gets ticked, blood appears everywhere 
Absol just wants to get stronger, and train non-stop. Mew is actually a lot like Mudkip; nice but when ticked it attacks without hesitation

Raichu is the kind of pokemon that thinks others get in his way setting of traps and killing the whole party. Charizard has a short temper and if he gets mad he just wipes everyone out with a heatwave. Then Blastoise is a marksman he can shoot a hydropump or bubble into the darkness and hit an enemy head on.;026;

Machamp is a powerfull and reliable pokemon,but sometimes he gets very angry.On the other hand,sceptile is the calm and smart kind watching the team's back.
Raikou is a very proud pokemon,sure of his powers and reputation.Swampert always wants to help the team,he uses his watery powers to help the team travel on water.
Mew is not too active but if he's needed he'll come to help.

Seedie and Sai...
Well, Seedie the Bulbasaur is very shy, while Sai the Squirtle is all... out there. Very un-shy. They are total opposites besides their friendship and kindness. They are hoping they will be able to rescue Caterpie. ^^

Wartortle is the kind that doesn't care about those "know-it-all" types, but that is just how my meganium is. Wartortle origionaly didn't want to evolve, but in order to protect lil squirt she had too.
Squirtle is a happy little poke that doesn't quite like to fight, she usually hangs out in her friend area turtleshell pond, playing with azurill.
Meganium thinks that she can handle everything, but in truth, Articuno is the strongest of team Diamond. Meganium likes everything to go her way, and she always wants to do what she thinks is best.
Articuno is more laided back, calm type, in monster houses, she unleashes one powder snow, and its over. She gets agrivated by wartortle and meganium's natures, and usually shoves them aside with her wings.
Grovile is a strong fighter, training to evolve into sceptile. He usually is seen hanging out around the trees improving his speed.
And finally, the team crack addicts, rayquaza and castform! Rayquaza is mean to castform with his air lock ability, so castform is always in his normal form. Castform usually goes on missions without rayquaza, because two crack addicts = mission failed.
