Across the Barrier

A love drawn so far apart
Cannot break the bond in my heart
I’ll reach out my hand across the barrier of time
And feel the warmth of your hand in mine
But I must withdraw and face the day
Knowing that somehow I’ll find a way
To meet you and finally say the words I’ve longed to say
I’ve loved you so much every single day
But even if it never happens I’ll wait for eternity
Reaching out to you oh so patiently
My love is enough to break the wall
And into your world I will fall
