Now featuring ~*Lovély_Latias*~'s Money Making Scemes guide!
Money Making Schemes
1.)Shake trees for bells.(shake a tree, if an item leaf, or bell bag comes out, pick it up.Be careful, sometimes a honeycomb comes out, full of angry bees.
catch them, they make money too. If nothing comes out, shake another tree.)

4. Equip net
5. Watch closely-there will be a time when the bees fly around your head, not above it
6. Wait for the bees to fly around your head again, then quickly press B then mash A. Hopefully you have just caught your first bee.
2.)Hit the rocks with your shovel, many bell bags will pop out, if you block your recoil.Only one rock a day.

3.)Fishing yep the fastest way, for me.
  1. Go up to the ocean, lake, pond, then look for a fish shadow, tap a, toward the "fish" and wait.
  2. Sometimes it takes abit for the little boogers to bite.
  3. When the shadow dunks the bait into the water, tap a.
  4. Now you've caught a sea creature, or trash. You can not tell, because litter and "fish" behave the same way.

6.)
  1. Go to the bank and access your account.
  2. Save all the money you have into the account.
  3. Save the game and turn off the DS. Change the date to ten years later and your money will go up, depending on how much is in there. It usually goes up 99,999 Bells.
  4. Put any amount of money into your savings account that is over 50,000 Bells.
  5. Then, change the system date to the year 2099.
  6. Resume the game and you will have a letter in the mail thanking you for keeping money in the account, and that they have added 99,999 Bells to it. Repeat this process as much as desired to get a lot of money.NOTE: You will receive a lot of weeds. This works better if you change the system date to the year 2000, then play the game and save. Then, change the system date to the year 2099.
7.)Change the system date to January 1st to get mail from your Mom with 10,000 Bells
NOTE: If you plan on traveling through time, weeds will grow every were, and it's a pain in the arse to clean up the town.

8.)catch insects, their really easy to catch, swat the net at em till you get em, then sell them.Butterflies are only 175 bells.

How to catch a bug on the trunk of a tree:
ChaosKid said:
  1. You are minding your own buisness when suddenly you see a bug on a tree.
  2. Take out your net
  3. Get somewhat at an angle to the tree, about 5 holes away
  4. Approach bug slowly and press A while walking to net bug before it flies
  5. NEVER RUN-it will get away most of the time.
9.)If you see a star shape crack on the ground, dig, there's usually fossils in them.Sell em to Tom Nook for bells, or give them to Blathers the owl in the museum.

10.)Go to your gates, and talk to Bookers, the dog on the left. Ask him if anything is lost. He will show you the lost and found items. Hover your hand cursor on the items, and tap y the item will now be in your pockets. sell the items to Tom Nook for bells.

11.)Rarely you will find items in the recycling bin in the Town Hall, sell them to Tom Nook for bells.

Hoped that helped, took me hours! Well happy hunting!

I need money badly. I can't seem to get money like some do. I see coelcanths like crazy but they're to tough for me to nab. Willing to hold a 15 minute fishing contest for cash. Or trade rare cheap furniture, for common expensive furniture. I have a pirate series item (Keg) for sale as well. Tom Nook buys it far too cheaply since it is a once in a long while item. Price: 1500 bells (I can slightly lower the price). PM me if you are willing to help.

Hmm.. I don't see why you all find it difficult to pay off your debts. Grwo orchards, like me. Its very simple. Expecially when some of you are on your 1st or 2nd debts... ;/ But, I will help the poor once my debts are done.

Fossils are also a very easy way to earn money, but if you are more focused on completing a museum than actually paying off the debt, like Mecca said, growing fruit orchards is a great source of wealth, especially since if you have a big orchard, you can gain lots of money every two days (the time it takes for new fruit to bear [sic]).

I have two DS's and two towns, Hyrule and Oakview. Hyrule has Cube I believe. I am not WI-FI at home, but can arrange to be WI-FI on Wed and Sat. nights for about an hour as I discovered a hot spot nearby. I have cherries, peaches and coconuts and Nookington's in both towns. PM me for friend code exchange and a time and date for me to open my gates (yes that's plural) Gates!!!! LOL Just FYI I am an adult who plays and I will disconnect any childishness or noobishness. And don't stomp my flowers! My question is about the trees, how do I increase the number of them or do I just replace the existing ones with fruit trees. I'm not hurting for bells now, but I'm planning on my 3rd expansion soon and then I'll be hurting.

Admiral Soup, I'll help. I'll pick any weeds you want! BTW, thanks for the help earlier. Anybody need a little money themselves? I will help gladly. I have a successful orchard of coconuts if anybody wants some. I also have cherries, pears, and apples. I must get my grubby little hands on peaches and oranges! Willing to trade as well. Or sell things. In other words I CAN BE EXPANDABLE. Just say the word.

The Thrashmeister

<-- Made of awesome.
Well, now, all I need is someone to buy something from my Nookway's. I can't connect to Wi-Fi yet, but I'll be able to on Monday. I'm also selling all the fruit in my town, including coconuts. Actually, oranges are the only fruit I have right now. :(

TPMX

Beans backing up...
Meh, I got time. I'll visit, just give me a time EST. I'll buy something in exchange for an orange and coconut.

How can you be lucky enough to find Coelacanths and be unable to find a Mole Cricket? By the way, there's no such thing as an expert fisher in AC...

Anyway, your game must be in mute if you can't find a Mole Cricket. The cricket in underground and you must dig for it. It makes sounds. When you hear the sound and you think it's around you, start digging holes until you dig it up. They're hard to come across, but easy to get once you find them.
