wow, like sorry for not posting here... weekends are hard, and on Monday I didn't see it... Anyways, I find myself using Grit a lot... indirect combats are uber-cheap! and, since there's no one else in this club, I guess I have to be co-master. So OK

Oh well I know you'll reply tomorrow or something.

Heh, I disappeared out of the country for a while. Now, I'm back! Yay...

And COs... If it's a wide, big deploying-map, I normally land on Hawke. Great fire-power, no back-sides and the most useful CO powers in Macro Land. But in Pre-Deployed, it has to be Kanbei.

Usually when it comes down to Defense, Grit has one of the best around. You just can't come close to a player that uses Grit well.
Oh and BTW Hawke's drawback is the long charge time for the CO power. It takes 5 stars for the regular and 9 for the Super. It's still good though.
And, you can always use Sturm for predeployed too... he's uber cheap. (hes uber cheap anywhere XD)

Yeah, but for that, I need S on Great Sea Battle. Have you got an S-tactic on that mission?

actually, it's an S for the whole campaign (doesn't have to be hard mode thankfully) and I don't remember getting an S for that level... but I did get an S for the campaign mode. (you don't need S on all the levels)

No, but I'm taking the shortcut. As few missions as possible, but all S-ranked. Then, Sturm is safe to get.

(I have everything, and have beaten every war room mission EXCEPT for ONE, with stupid Max and Kanbei against you)

Yeah, that one's difficult. I haven't cleared 1 fifth of them yet...have concentrated on Campaign first, then, I would start the War Room. But it happens that I take Ridge Island and Banker Hills just for fun. Just to use Sami and Mech Swarm Hachi and Grit into oblivion.

But, no, I haven't got Hachi...yet. I'm going to take a try on Hard Campaign when I'm done with getting Sturm.

Yeah, I have done a hard campaign... I think I got an A on it. It's... well, hard. BUT not as hard as the first one, ya know... Hard campaign on AW1 was just... impossible. *is stuck on it*

I'll join and I know a way of beating the map you're troubled with. Use Kanbei as his attack and defence are the best of the normal characters. Mount off with infantry and then just churn out as many mechs and the odd tank as possible. Kanbei is the pain so get rid of his units quickly if they get in too close to base, otherwise, beat max first because he has less of a chance to cause grief like Kanbei. There's a flaw with that map I spotted... they have no HQ's.

I completed all of them with about an A rank, BTW

Hey, we got a new member. Awesome. yeah I have beaten EVERYthing else in AW2 EXCEPT that mission, and have every CO.

Hey, how bout a topic? Hmm... have you ever battled someone else before? Did you win/lose?
Well, I play sometimes with my friend, who has AW1. Sometimes I also use the single pack mode to teach people how to play that game, so that they may like it. Anyways, I usually win against the person i play, but I have lost once.

I haven't got the chance yet. All my friends live a bit away, but I'm planning. Right now, I only use Versus to try out the COs.

I use versus to try as well. It is the best method. I've battled with other people, and I've kept up with them so well. Every time someone brings in AW2, it begins a four way melee. If I find that piece of paper which has the winning total, as well as what co won the battle I'll update onto the post(we switch constantly.)

EDIT: I've got it and these are approximate, the master copy is with another friend:
Sam J 34 wins
Ashley J 32 wins
Me 31 wins
Leo 22 wins
Michael P 17 wins
Louis J 10 wins
Ben M 2 wins (he is good, but he doesn't join us much, and when he does, he is normally gamged up on, he the strongest link)

We have a club at home that uses this, and we keep in touch through the chess club, believe it or not...

Those are your friends? And they all play it? you're pretty lucky you have that many people that play it...

Oh well, when Advance Wars comes out on the DS, I'll take you guys on (DS=online capabilities)

Heh! You're on! Wonder how the new COs will be in the new game. I just hope that the old COs have kept their old style. Like Sami and her cargo pants and the machine gun and Andy with his wrenches. How do you think it will be?
