If Ash heard that May was in dire trouble back in the Johto region, what thoughts do
you think would be going through Ash's mind and what kind of actions would he take?

I think its pretty obvious what would Ash do. He would rush to the Johto as he would be really worried for her. He would do everything to save her.

Ash's whole personality is centered around his care for his friends and Pokemon. He goes out of his way to help total strangers - for someone as close to him as May, he wouldn't even think twice before catching the next boat to Johto.

If Ash/May wanted to say his/her feelings to May/Ash, how would they act?

I think if May wanted to say her feelings to Ash, she would find it extremely difficult. Everytime she would try to tell Ash, she would hesitate or just be to nervous to say anything. Several things might be flowing through her minds. She might be thinking Ash is too focused on his pokemon and gym battles to ever notice her. But when she does confess to Ash, I think it would be after a situation where Ash saves her once again when they're all alone. Thats when she softly confesses to Ash that she likes him.

And for Ash, I think it'd be the same for him as May. He'd be nervous and hesitant as well. He'd probably be constantly thinking if May has feelings for anyone else, like Drew or something. And there'd probably be some funny moments of jealousy on Ash's part if May interacted with Drew. I can see Ash trying to tell May when they're about to take their different paths in different regions with Ash mumbling very softly that he like her. May would be like what? and Ash would then blurt out loudly that he likes her lol.

If he weren't able to make it into Johto, then I think he would hope and pray that she would get out of trouble as soon as she could. He would wish to be there and help her and if it was something like about to be murdered or getting kidnapped then he would zoom to Johto without a second thought.

No doubt he would be very concerned for May and I think Dawn and Brock would tag along too and e just as concerned.

So we pretty clear up that if May was in trouble he would try and get to Johto to save her. yeah, that sounds like Ash to me.

I'll have to go rewatch this one myself, as it completely eludes me. But it's on our list of shippy episodes, so it must be good, right?

I don't want to leave without giving an answer, so here's mine to the current topic:

I don't think he'd really think of much, aside from "I gotta go save her!" and then get on the quickest boat out there to come to her side. This is Ash, after all, I don't think he'd even give a second thought to leaving the Sinnoh league to come to one of his friend's sides if they were in trouble - especially May, right?

How did you feel about the shippiness in AG042: Love at First Flight?

I love the bit were May winks at Ash saying that he will understand love one day. its one of the good hints for AaMayL. but yeah May giving advice about love and Ash asking since when did May became a good love advicer or something like that and Max replys that she was never one. xD. that was another good part of the episode. i just hope im talking about the right episode. *worrys*

How did you feel about the shippiness in AG042: Love at First Flight?

I thought it was a pretty good episode, just watched it over again [= Like what midnightjewelz said, the part with May winking at Ash and the part where Ash stated how May became such a good love adviser were pretty shippy. Also at the end of the episode, May says something about the power of love in which Ash asks what she means by that. May then responds he'll understand when he's older. Could May be hinting at something lol??

Also, near the begininning of the episode, Nurse Joy tells the gang that anyone in love who watches two bug pokemon(can't remember name) dancing together will be blessed with super good luck. I'd say Ash and May has been pretty lucky in the future ;]

Oh and the part with Brock pretending to talk to Juliet disguised as Ash was priceless lol.

Ash would probably head to Johto as soon as possible to aid her. He'd probably be thinking of (if May hadn't told him) what could have happened, and probably would reflect on his friendship with her, and hopefully some other feelings he has...
