advice for lugia's dungeon?

ok, i love lugia and all, but his dungeon is murder on my meganium X(
i have plenty of reviver seeds in my storage, so i have that covored. i know i should bring plenty of huge apples and max elixers, and only use them when absolutly nessisary, but spheal murder my meganium with ice ball. so, i was wondering what i should do to counter these darn little spheal?

Well, I suggest training hard. The only thing that does more than 2 damage to my Typhlosion in that dungeon is Sheer Cold...when it hits. Also, if you desperately need rescue, gkiwi is a good person to ask. What level is your Meganium, and what other Pokemon do you bring?

well, i hardly ever train meganium, so its still only level 45... i don't bring other pokes because they act like idiots in their NPC forms, and die all the time.... but meganiums razor leaf and bullet seed packs a hell of a punch.

. . .
Do you have to bring Meganium? I would switch it with something electric like Pikachu or Electabuzz.

If you still want to bring Meganium, bring something that ice can't kill so it will kill Spheal instead. xD

^yes, as i have no good electric types, my highest level poke is articuno, level 100, and if i didn't want to recruit lugia i would bring it, but i'm thinking of playing as articuno, then once i get one floor away from lugia, switch to meganium and send articuno packing.

Well just so you dont have to use apples and be stressed over hunger bring a Tight Belt.... that item helped me beat Silver Trench about1 hr ago. All My Typhlosion was hit with was a simple 1 or 2 damage mark.... never more than 5 lol. Oh and about your Meganium... level it up dude/dudette.

^im a girl ^_^;
and i would level up meganium, but i'm lazy... i hardly felt like making articuno to level 100 -_-;;
must...find...tight belt...*colapse*
do you have an extra one? XD see, i'm lazy. i ask people for things *sometimes*
lol.

Just find one on floors 1-5 of Far-Off Sea. It may be uncommon to rare, but it's worth it. You don't have to go up 30 floors to find that you need a stupid key. *coughhackcoughfriendbowcoughwheezecough*

Bring at least 3 reviver seeds and at least 6 petrify orbs. There are 4 monster houses that take up the entire map. and then bring 3huge apples and 4 apples.
I did this dungeon last night and i beat it in 2 hours with a lvl 51 charzard and lugia joined my team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and bring like 4 max elixers

If you beat this with a level 51 charizard it should be cake for my level 76 one right? I was going to wait until I got raikou to do this dungeon.. but I may try it now..

You should use an electric-, ice-, rock-, ghost-, or dark-type attack for 50% extra damage. Bug-type attacks do 35% extra damage to Lugia.
Grass-type attacks do 10% less damage, Fighting-type attacks do 19% less damage.
Ground-type attacks do 50% less damage.

If the attack's type the same as the user's, damage multiplies by 50%.

I'd say, use a level 50 Raikou. 1-star sized legendary Pokemon.
Size limit is 6 stars. Lugia is 4-star sized.
Or maybe you could use a 2-star sized Latios and not recruiting anyone in the dungeon (excluding when you get to Lugia)

I would bring in my Charizard, but it's only Lv. 37. I'm doing the best I can to get my hands on a Raichu, and a Tight Belt.
