Ok, so tell me what else could happen other than Ash(and whoever is with him) joining up with Hikari. Unless you think that he is leaving the show(the last AG title really makes that unlikly) what else would happen? We know that AG is ending and being replaced with DP. We know that Hikari will be a main character in DP. I mean, I say we pretty much have a good idea of what Ash is gonna do. The only thing up in the air right now is who will be traveling with Ash when he meets Hikari.

I know. I mean, I think May will stay to advertise the Super Contests in Shinou, but the writters havnt done much to tell us their fates yet.

I think May might stay. At the end of the May vs. Ash episode, it's known that she goes back to Hoenn. Unless she then says she'll go to Johto from there, most likely she'll also leave to Shinou from Hoenn.

Its obvious that May will leave Ash. The question is whether or not she will return. Will she go to Shinou with Ash or follow in Drew's shadow to Johto?

Agreed. If there is no Contest arc next region then we may be in store for a repeat of Johto.

Having only Gyms and boring filler is a sure way to kill the show again, and I won't be watching if that's the case. I won't dare stomach another Johto.

This is common for people.

They always want things to be better than the last, so they always put more expectations into the series, saying that it 'looks' better and sounds better, when all we know is that there will be -

A girl named Hikari doing a legendary storyline.

So we either get Pokemon GX with all new characthers, or Pokemon with Hikari and probably Satoshi and Haruka...maybe with Masato.
