AG175: "May vs. Jessie! The Final Contest!!" Speculation

Seen the preview.

Ash and co(minus May) are trapped in a box that is carried by the Meowth Balloon.

Jessie and May will use Harley's Bannete and Squirtle respectively.

Drew appears. His Flygon is out, probably to rescue Ash and co.

I am super looking forward to this episode. Squirtle hasn't done the battle round since the Saffron Contest, and a ton of hatred has been thrown at it because of what went down there. It should be a much better battle now that it has a good deal more experience under its belt (well, shell).

The random Skarmory needs to be owned by stalker coordinator. The poor kid has had his dreams crushed by May more times than I can count.

Yeah here's what I thought of the Preview:

* Ash and Co. are trapped to probably distract May from the contest.

* Drew and Harley seem to be having a verbal showdown, he better be trying to save Ash and that lot of i'll scream.

* Jessie was using Bannette against Squirtle >_> Great more Squirtle super pwnage and Eevee still has only had one contest and Munchlax gets no come back, joy :/

* Skarmory? That was a random I guess.

* Flygon was using Sandstorm in the air...maybe to destroy the thing trapping Ash ect?

* James appeared with Cacnea and Mannene like squishing his face...

Wow DREW! But he appears to be having a showdown with Harley, come on battle *shot*

Oh God, Squirtle's going to go up against another of Harley's Pokemon? Writers, why don't you ever learn??

Sounds like Drew's helping out behind the scenes this time. I hope he and Harley have a run-in at some point.

Everything else sounds fairly standard... TR trap, final battle we know May will win, etc.

So, who wants to bet on the number of times Ice Beam will be used? I'm going with six.

edit: ok, thought of some predictions: Ash, Brock and Max will take care of James/Meowth while Drew goes after Harley. When May defeats Jessie in the contest, Team Rocket will be exposed as... uh, Team Rocket, but Harley will promptly backstab them to get out of taking the fall. He'll claim that they stole his Pokemon and did all the sabotaging business themselves. TR will get blasted off, but Jessie will have a renewed bloodlust for Harley.

Ash and co. got trapped by TR.. Before this episode Musashi was saying that she`ll "erase" Ash.co Wow she acted scary xP

Seems that Shuu`s having a showdown with Harey. His face was so... serious(so cool <3). They both looked scary in there I bet he already know that Harey was doing something.

Hooray Flygon`s there!!! <33 Maybe it is out to save Ash and others or.. battle with Harely? It could be something like this, Harely told Shuu that if he wanted to save Ash and others, he`ll have to battle with him. Hmm..

I seriously hope Skarmony isn`t belong to Shuu.. Well, we`ve already seen his Flygon so I think it`s not.

Oh man Squirtle? Not that I hate it but.. Oh well, I`m still happy that it didn`t do appeal again. Wonder how the this battle works. *excited*

I think to me, these contest episodes are the most interesting episodes.

Ouch, what a plot device! Harley/Team Rocket throw Ash, Max and Brock into a case and carry them away, so there's nobody to confront Harley but Drew. Jeez, they aren't subtle are they?

Haha, people will be complaining once Squirtle beats Banette, its going to be a riot. Although yay for seeing Banette again, finally.

Damn, people are going to let Squirtle have it after this episode airs...there will be no holding back.

Hmmm after looking at the previous episode and seeing Drew appear made me think what if Drew knew Harley was going to pull a sunt like this? And he is trying to stop Harley since he never really liked him, remember the first GF episode when Harley tricked May into using only Silver Wind? And Drew was all "he's tricking you *sigh*". So it would seem to be Drew knows and is trying to save May, go Drew!

That's just my thoughts though, its probably a load of bias toward Drew babble D:

...saying this makes my skin crawl, but I'd have much prefered Munchlax to step in and aim for the next ribbon. As much as I despise the thing, it at least needs to redeem itself for it's loss to Octillery.
Jesus, it's times like this that I look at what Haruka has festering on her team, and think to myself "...Why?".

Animation is looking pretty kickass, but I wouldn't expect anything less from Ms. Shimura. And it's about time Banette took a sip from the waters of decent frame rate.

I can't think of anything else to say that hasn't already been pointed out. Meanies, the lot of ya.

And look! It's Drew! Well, let them do as they please with that as far as 'sub-plots' are concerned. I'd rather not get involved.

Don't ask me why I just noticed this, but the majority of May's battles in the Kanto Contests have been against Harley or Harley-related, right? Dayum. I wonder what is in store for him once the BF finishes up? A break hopefully.

Anyways, saw the preview and am a little disappointed. Harley's Banette (who we have not seen since the Grand Festival) is being used up against May's Squirtle. Jesus "Tap Dancing" Christ! But all of that is overshadowed with me because I see Drew and I see Harley and I'm (sadly) hoping for some much needed Contestshipping!
