Before I post, this is not a RMT topic. I know that some people know, but if you say 'Replace thingymagig with watchamacallit', you'll get ignored and/or laughed at.

Anyway, I made a topic about training for Tate and Liza, and I need more training. I've beat all 8 leaders (*kills Juan's Kingdra*), and I want my team to be at least Lv 55. This team consists of Blaziken (Lv 44), Electrode (Lv 43), Walrein (Lv 45), Flygon (Lv 45), Banette (Lv 39) and Gardevior (Lv 35). Where's a good place to train quickly and effectively? I'm not EV training, just regular levelling up.

West of Lilycove, there's a Cooltrainer with Slaking, Kecleon, and something else, and a Gentleman with a Manectric, Golduck, and something else.

But from 5 to 50 I always battle in the areas near Mauville. Easy pickings.

Your first pick should be Victory Road - the Pokemon there are at Levels 38 - 43, so, although you will be struggling with your Level 30s for a bit, you could use them, switch out when in danger, and resume from there. Wally might also ask for a rematch, so you can get more training done, along with some money.

If you are going for rematches, go against some of the trainers you fought and use the right Pokemon. You'll remember every single person's team by the time you fight them thrice. Good luck.

mY fAvorItE place to train pkmn that are below lv. 50 is on either side of Fortree City. On route 119 u can find Linoone easily and they give like 400-500exp and Tropius which is tougher to find but prolly gives a lil more exp than Linoone. Pkmn in this area are mid 20's. And on route 120, again Linoones are easy to find but instead of Tropius u get Absol who gives decent exp around 600-700 i believe. But if I were u, I'd go through Victory Road first, then Fly to these places Another thing I did when I needed to level up was surf everywhere! Route 124 has tons of trainers as well as South of Mossdeep.

I'd just like to mention that I won't go to Victory Road just yet. It's not that it's too tough, it's that I'll need Strength, rock Smash and waterfall to get the maximum training I need. I don't want to teach them to another pokemon because I'll have to replace one of my team members and it's good moves. Thanks for the other tips. Now if only I could trade to Leaf Green to train them on Seven Island.

Take 4/5 Pokemon, while the other(s) could be your HM slaves. Train at SkyPillar if you have too. I train one Pokemon at a time (not sure why...)

I'll delete Dive, use Waterfall instead, andteach one of my pokemon Strength, thanks for the tips.
edit: I'll need another place too. I want all pokemon up to Lv 45 before I enter Victory road, which isn't far off.

Or...you can just enter in, and take two steps, and run in your 'tile' - you won't need to move anywhere, and you'll still encounter many Pokemon and still have a chance for experience - No HM Slave required.

I completed Victory Road, but it wasn't brilliant. Electrode is Lv 45, Blaziken is Lv46, Gardevoir is Lv 38, and that's the only ones who leveled up. Not very good, so I'll try other places. I'll try suggested ones, but any more?

I caught rayquaza on Sky Pillar, and it's helped me defeat Sydney! Thanks for the tips, but keep this open please in case I lose.

Edit: Beat Phoebe, Glacia and Drake, but stuck on wallace. Tentacool and Milotic are tough!

1)choose a pokemon to train.
2)give the choosen pokemon an EXP.share
3)keep on fighting the interviewers and the chosen pokemon will gain like 1700 EXP.

that's really effective to speed up leveling up.

Master Trainer
Fight the people either side of Mauville, and the ones on the cycling path. The highest they go up to is a level 39 magneton i think...that's where i trained all of mine to level 50, then dusted the E4!

The best way to train is to trade your pokémons to FR/LG and in these games is the VS Seeker, use it and train your pokémon with the trainer you like, after you train enough trade them back to R/S/E and you got a strong pokémon. Simple enough but long.
