I’m going to be 36 this month and I love the Pokémon games and a few different toy lines myself and enjoy them. There’s nothing wrong with being young at heart. My grandma was like that and she lived to be 99 and a half years old. My mom even loved video games and had a 3DS and DSi XL that she played regularly before her death from cancer at the age of 59.
Gonna be 23 in a month. My first set of games were Red/Blue/Yellow but I could never beat them because I didn't raise my other Pokemon in Yellow and was pretty bad at playing the games in general. Also I think I didn't like Red and Blue that much because of the red and blue colors being everywhere. And I lost all my money in the casino.
Not sure on my first anime episode though I'm certain I started mid Kanto early Johto. However, my brother had a bunch of cards, some were in I think German and he let me have them. He also let me have Pokemon Colosseum which was one of three games my sister and I played on the Gamecube until I was finally like, "I don't want to play with you because you keep screaming in my ear when you get angry." I also only beat that once.

I'm 29, and got into Pokemon with the anime when I was seven in 1999. I never played any of the games growing up, I was mostly into the anime and a little bit of the card game, I only started playing the games when I was 19 after getting a Nintendo DS for Christmas 2011. Black was my first game, and I've played every main series title since except for Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee. I started playing Pokemon Go just last week, and at the moment I'm hooked on it (I caught two Alola Digletts and a CP1150 Venusaur today).
