Wellllllllll I've kind of been into Pokemon on and off since it came to the states in '98... obsessed with it, out of it, back into it, lazed out of it, and now since D/P I've been into it again (though I've been taking my sweeeeet time on D/P and have 70+ hours without even all the badges, but I always do that with Pokemon games, really savor them, haha)
I've known about serebii.net for a long time, but never figured I'd be much of an addition to the forums, I always sort of held this idea in my head that you guys would all be super metagame mega-players--and it's not that I have anything against those types of people, and it's not like I may someday even try my hand at it myself, I'm just much more of a... casual Pokemon fan. I like to enjoy the games very thoroughly and thoughtfully with competitive play a distant second to getting everything out of the single-player RPG, pokemon-raising and collecting experience. I keep track of the anime here and there and still quite enjoy it even thuogh I'm 20 years old. And I've always been interested in a good pokemon RP, and just realized you guys had a couple, which I'm very interested in checking out, although a little intimidated by the size and age of them.
Yeah, though, I tend to rant for awhile, but... hi! If you couldn't tell, my favorite pokemon is Zigzagoon, and I really look forward to hanging out here if it's okay for a fairly oldschool fan who wants to get back in the game to do so. It's been ages and ages since I've really been to a pokemon-centric community, but I really wanna try and become a part of this place. And yeah, my name's a bit silly, I have a really hard time settling on online nicknames and have been using this really old one for some reason lately--you can call me whatever you want.
