When you save somthing that is transparent with GIMP, what are you supposed to save it as? BMP wont handle transparent layers. So could 'ya help me out here?

GIF. It can only have a certain number of colors, though. I believe it's 256 colors, but I could be wrong.

Png will work too, I reccomend Png.

If you save it as PNG only people with FireFox will see it. Most Internet Explorer users aren't advanced enough to handle the mighty PNG, they will still see the white. If you save it as a GIF you will loose picture quality but then everyone will see the white-be-gone. Just remember the bad quality picture will be seen with the bad quality browser.
