All new fresh start

FireTrainer92

The Point of Origin
After the failure of two fan fics I'm think about a new type of fan fic staring a boy who enters team magma to exact revenge on team aqua for washing out his town.

Boy's Name: Terry
Main pokemon: Quilava
Home:Atlantic City
I thinking he should have a buddy in the team but I don't know if I should put this idea in to action. give me some ideas and I might put them in my story

hows about the author actually gets serious about writing instead of coming up with alot of threads that are, for lack of better words, doomed to fail.

I suggest you get inspired then write what comes to mind. take your time as well, the fourm isn't going to go anywhere, the time it takes to write a successful fanfic can take weeks or months even.

People just aren't going to accept an idea if it's only worked on for less then five minutes.

It's not the fact that he can't create his own character. It's advertising his fic in a sense. Plus more people are more likely to read a fic if their character or they themselves or in it.

I'm aware of this. So I'm helping his fic along by giving him advice on how to write a good fic.

besides, a good author doesn't need ideas that are presented directly from others, it's best if the author him/herself actually searches out these ideas.

Wasn't requesting characters and etc made against the rules though?

Anyways, FireTrainer92, I am seriously doubting that you actually listened to Sandra when she closed your fic. As I think you are the one that was writing those 'chapters' that were a paragraph in length?

Before you start out your 'adventure' in writing a new 'fic' and I stress the term with how your past attempt was. I suggest, no, I demand you listen to the Super Mod that closed your fic and actually read the rules and advice threads.

Otherwise you'll just be wasting space with a lackluster thing that shouldn't even be ten feet near the fanfic section :/
