Almost Impossible to catch a chansey

Anyone else been trying to catch a chansey for a lucky egg? Its hard as hell with this 5% and 6% chance or appearing and it runs away as soon as it sees you and I barly have any luck catching the dam things let along the 5% chance for the lucky egg it could have on it. Maybe I should just restart my Pokemon XD and get another one through that lol. Also its the saffire zone so I can't just use covet for the item so its quiet the stinker I think. Anyone else frustrated with these guys? I feel sorry for people who want a lucky egg but don't have XD as the lucky egg really helps my leveling! ;026;

Its not to help me I could care less lol. Its just to explain how many other people find it hard to catch a chansey and other things that happened while trying to catch one. Also why would you cheat? A game has no meaning if you cheat.

Also its a thread to see if anyone was lucky enough to actualy get a lucky egg from chansey.

I never even bothered. It took me so freaking long just to so much as catch a Chansey, there'd be no way I'd hang around long enough to catch one with Lucky Egg. I'd probably find a shiny (who'd flee) first. I mean that.

Odds of it having Lucky Egg: 1/20
Odds of you catching it: 1/10 (experimentally)

Odds that the next poke you see will be a Chansey holding Lucky Egg that you'll catch: 1/2000
Odds that the next poke you see will be a shiny: 1/8192

As you can see, it's in the ball park. Anyone with a more accurate estimate of the odds of catching any given Chansey?

I was lucky enough to get a Chansey with Lucky Egg. Not so lucky to catch Tauros though...

I just catch it in XD then get a Lucky Egg in the Lucky Egg quest...but in FR/LG I have yet to try...my Chansies just run away from me.

Why would you want a shiny chansey? There not that great but oh well I want shiny's of weaker guys to so lol. Even if a shiny chansey came if would probly just run away from you the first turn you get.

Catching Chansey just takes patience, luck and rocks. I can't be bothered to waste my time getting a lucky egg, though.

Yeah, catching a Chansey can be a very frustrating thing. Lucky Egg? I've never bothered to even dream of catching a Chansey holding this.

I've caught two Chanseys in the Safari Zone, none of them had a Lucky Egg.. Guess I have to catch some more

It took me about 3 weeks to catch a Chansey in the Safari Zone. During those three weeks, I also caught a Tauros, Kangaskhan, Venomoth and Dragonair. Lucky Egg or no, I'm never, ever going to do that again, it took way too long and was way to tiring and boring :/

i only was able to catch one chansey my friend was so jealous though he offered me a milotic so i gave him a hatched chansey and got a milotic
