Everything stays.
Eevee family #123-#132

From the new trailer.

I think it's #123 to #131.

But even then, does this suggest ~150 Pokémon per island ? Or simply on one of the islands only ? We know the islands are not the same size, so it's possible the biggest islands have ~150 Pokémon on them while the smallest could run as low as ~50 Pokémon.

I'm not surprised for a non-new Eeveelution. This is an odd generation so the chances were unlikely.

Most likely the former, which should confirm that there is at least a hundred new Pokémon.

Smallest island isn't really its separate dex, its connected to the temple island meaning all of them should be around the same size.

I know that I have Pokédex listings on the last page, and this one already, but we got quite a few new potential Pokémon in this trailer, so:

So far, I don't really see any types that are being properly neglected, except Ice, which tbh was expected. Just skimming through that list, I only see Glaceon, Lapras, and Walrein :s

Yeah Eevee goes from 123-131, but I'm assuming this is in one of the regional island dexes. That suggests to me that the island dexes would be about 140+ meaning the regional dex in total could be like 600 Pokemon.

Eevee was level 17 when battling the lv13 Miltank. We also saw it battling lv14 Poliwag before, and a lv18 Kangaskhan. So if levels are to be considered correct, I'd say we get Eevee about lv13-14 in the wild too. Since they have always arranged the dex by route, I imagine Eevee will be near the end of the Melemele dex, since I can't imagine only finding lv13-14 wild Pokemon at the end of the second island. Kangaskhan was clearly found on the second island but the Poliwag had a waterfall behind it which makes it seem like it's in the forest behind the starting town on Melemele.

See those active volcanoes in the background. There's only one island that has them.

Excuse my ignorance, but which one? The second island? We saw some molten rock backgrounds during Salandit's encounter. I am just trying to pinpoint where Eevee is.

The North-East Island we are assuming is the second one, yeah.

Though I'm starting to think the South-East island might be the second one as they are covering it next month.

Urgh. Damn. This doesn't make sense. How is Eevee #123 in a regional dex if the regional dex it is in isn't Melemele. Unless levels aren't correct, Eevee was definitely seen at lv17. I refuse to believe that's as late as #123 in the second island Dex. It doesn't make sense. Surely?

Unless as well as the four island dexes, we have a full regional dex and then the national dex? In which case being #123 in the regional dex (overall) wouldn't be too hard to explain. That seems more likely tbh.

EDIT: wait. what if those are on Melemele? Couldn't that be Diamond Head Volcano? It doesn't seem lava enough for the second island....

Melemele's isn't active, though, while the volcano in the background is giving off smoke.

The lack of lava is probably because it's too far to see.

Have you guys ever thought of the possibility that the Lv17 Eevee was a gift Pokemon given by someone on Melemele.
Then wild Eevees are actually found on the volcano island?

Wasn't the level 17 Eevee the one caught, though?

It's most likely the Eevee that was caught. Eevee wasn't seen prior to 0:47 of the recent Japanese trailer, it was wild at the time and was then used in battles starting at 1:04 after it was caught at 0:53.

But despite that, it's pretty conflicting that there are active volcanoes on the background and that Eevee's level is pretty low as a late Pokémon for the Pokédex of that island with active volcanoes.

I don't see the the problem with finding a lvl 17 pokemon on the alleged second island.

But also, maybe we shouldn't take levels from trailers too seriously.

Just hope the pokedex is not too big and not too small. Probably contains all gen 7 pokemon plus some older ones. Maybe 250 - 300 at the most.

In fairness each of the Kalos Dexes had over 150 Pokemon each (153 Central, 153 Coastal and 151 Mountain) and factor in that its confirmed that the routes will have a mixture of both old and new Pokemon its not all that farfetched to assume that each island will have a large dex, especially considering that each island seems to have its own themed area (volcano for north east, snowy mountain for south east).

I mean... yes it's kind of a given it'll include all gen 7 pokes and some older ones? It was confirmed Ledyba and Pichu at the very least are obtainable at E3....
The only ones probably excluded are mythicals, and that's just for the completion rewards.
Eevee is #120-something, so I kinda doubt the dex will be 250/300 small. I'd say closer to 500-600 is the ideal, and even that is probably pushing the limits.

I wouldn't take trailer levels quite so seriously, we don't know how accurate they are.
