Mm-hm. It's straight. Latias is a girl and most people consider Ash to be a guy. (Joke. ) I had a feeling you liked yaoi from the Pikashipping thread, Ekedo, because the picture you drew of Pikachu and Ash kissing had a bunch of male symbols floating around, and I could only assume that meant you drew Ash's Pikachu as a male. I think that was you who did that, anyway.
I love Altoshipping so much. I just got through watching the movie for the fifth time today, and I can't remember it ever getting to me as much as it did today. I started crying at the Inside The Secret Garden and the main Secret Garden scenes. ;_; The music just adds so much beauty to it. Latias is so gorgeous and she loves Ash so much. Why can't it be reeeeeeal?!
I noticed a few things today that I never did before.
- Altomare looks like a warm Alaska out floating in the middle of nowhere.
- When Pikachu is on Latias' back, she looks over at Ash and then back at Pikachu and she nods, sort of scheming with him to fly down and drop Pikachu back on Ash's head.
- Latias is very strong and has the power to manipulate a large amount of water and override the Defense Mechanism and cause it to go haywire. (Though, it might be coupled by the fact that the Soul Dew that was powering it was already dying and turning black, and Latios, the other key, was being tortured and the power stolen from him must have been fleeting too.)
Well, now that I've seen the movie again and replenished the dizzying hole in myself that makes me feel inspired to see that Latias and Ash end up together in any way that I can, I'm off to read the Altoshipping fanfics and start my own. ^^

Oh, after you check out PikaTear's fic, make sure to check out "Guardian of the Chosen One" which is still on the first page of the fanfics forum, as I type this. It's a really good fic too. A bit confusing at first, but it bridges you into knowing a new character. Definitely worth a read if you're feeling despaired that Ash and Latias didn't even get started, from watching the movie.
