I wanted a more challenge ingame, as using the same Pokemon who were already at very high levels with no one to link with and dominating the E4. I traded them to my Emerald and started all over again *got 2 SPs*

I have 5 badges at the moment, and about to take on Saffron City. I already got a badge from Fuschia City.

Here is my team.

Venusaur: Level 50

Razor Leaf
Toxic
Leech Seed
Growth

Golduck: Level 48

Confusion *replace with Brick Break?*
Surf
Ice Beam *once I get the TM, I have screech at the moment*
Disable

Pikachu: Level 47

Brick Break
Agility *any suggestions?*
Double Team
Thunderbolt - I am not going to evolve him, I have a light ball

Nidoking: Level 46

Brick Break
Megahorn
Leer *put Earthquake on it perhaps?*
Focus Energy *any suggestions?*

Growlithe: Level 47

Bite
Flamewheel
Leer
????? *going to put Flamethrower and Extremespeed when he gets to lv49*

How is my level status for going into Saffron City to take on TR?

Cheers, this is for in-game, I'm a little rusty with the movesets.

Suprsingly I can't teach Golduck Psychic as some suggested, how about Brick Break, its ATT and SP ATT are just about the same.

I think you also should train a Dratini and/or Larvitar. They become really powerful if they comes to their last evolution ..

Rane

Really?
TBH, In-game is never a challenge. Just slap on offensive moves and you WILL take down the E4 without any problems what so ever.

Got two Dragonites, and 1 Tyranitar, I felt like a change.

Well here you go, the best moves for your pokemon (don't forget to evolve growlithe!).

...You're going to mop the floor with TR even without any new movesets. And Sabrina, too.

Leech Seed
Frenzy plant

Golduck: Level 48

Psych Up ( Just a suggestion. It can be helpful to copy foes stat changes. If you dont want Psych Up, I would keep confusion to jkeep your moves versatile)
Ice Beam
Surf
Hydro Pump ( For sheer power over accuracy. Could help in a tight spot when you need a little more then surf)

Pikachu: Level 47

Brick Break
Thunder ( For sheer power, thunderbolt is more accurate, but weaker)
Double Team
Thunderbolt - I am not going to evolve him, I have a light ball

Nidoking: Level 46

Brick Break
Megahorn
Earthquake
Thunderbolt ( As an accurate way to get rid of water types. It also adds versatility))

Growlithe: Level 47

Iron Tail ( To deal with rock types, or you could add sunny day to power up fire, and weaken water)
Flamewheel
Flametrower
ExtremeSpeed
