Anyway, if there is any, like everyone here is expecting, I would expect Grace teasing either Satoshi or Serena. That's the most possible hint I can think of tbh other than Satoshi encouraging Serena to win the race, which is less shippy of course.

Speaking of XY052, that's about to air this week, right? So in less than a week this thread's gonna hit 1000 pages... So yeah, just sayin.

We're talking about the Gekogahshir episode that's about to drop, the one in which the group splits.

Grace will appear in XY53. So we have another week left.

But we're about to get the preview this week, which will probe;y be enough for us

Hummm, I don't think there will be any hints in this episode if I'm honest, it's going to be mostly about the ninja dude and Ash, plus his Froakie evolving. If there is any, it might be just worry from Serena is Ash was struggling in battle, or if he got in some kind of bad situation, maybe she'll shout out his name. But other than that, I'm think this episode will be pretty hint-less. But I still think it's going to be a pretty good episode

To be honest, I don't expect hints from a battle-oriented episode. Although like you, I feel that somehow the "shippy writers" might give us just a little Satosere moment. Those little moments that I'm referring to for example when Satoshi put himself in front of Serena to protect her from danger or just like that episode where he helped her cross the stream.

Anyways, in that case, I could see Ash screaming out Serena's name while she's falling, while Bonnie shouts out Clemont's name. or Ash could shout out Serena's name then jump off after her, heh.. no.. Well that's something. That's possible imo. Remember Satoshi jumped from a top of the Prism Tower to save Pikachu? The cliff's height in that ep cannot compare to the Prism Tower's. But yeah, it may happen only if Serena is very dear to Satoshi which of course she is Lol.

Citron/Clemont, being a "brofriend" to Ash/Satoshi (LOL!), I wouldn't consider him a "threat" since I'm pretty sure he'll be in panic and dead worried every second he got seperated from loli imouto of his. The past episodes are a proof enough and I'm pretty sure there's no way a good onii-san like him would even think about flirting with a female in that situation.

As for Satoshi, I think this is where he and Sanpei may team up and once again mention "Serena" dearly as she was missing just like the time Serena and Eureka/Bonnie was captured by Team Rocket.

Citron and Serena may have completely fell off the cliff, Eureka, having nowhere to go since the bridge got wrecked before she got through, possibly tried to look and reunite with her brother and Serena. So I expect no shipping moments here.

We all know that Serena and Ash met in Professor Oak's summer camp, which is in Kanto. Now, It's kind of a mystery for me how Serena and Grace got there considering they live in Kalos. I mean if it was just Johto or Hoenn there wouldn't be much question but Kalos is a bit farther away from Kanto. So, what do you guys think? Is Serena originally a Kanto native that moved to Kalos? Or do you think that Serena were just there to visit? Shipping wise, the reason I asked this is because that would give more excuse to make amourshipping canon, since if Serena was originally from Kanto like Ash, they can get way with having these two live in Kanto together. What do you think?

It's been answered before, Serena is a Kalos native, they might have ended in Kanto because of her parent's errand or maybe some family vacation or something.

Yeah, something like XY009 could happen, with Ash worrying about Serena and forgetting about the other two. It'll also be interesting to hear Ash say 'Serena-tachi' during the episode like he always does when he's talking about Serena and someone else. I think it's a small thing, but I'm quite fond of it

Makes sense. Maybe Ash never learned Serena's name, but he seemed to remember her just fine after the handkerchief scene. Who knows, maybe they ran into each other a few more times.

One more thing to consider: There's one scene that wasn't shown in Serena's flashback, which was shown at the end of the 2nd episode but not in the main flashback itself. Maybe we don't have the full story yet

Well the second preview for episode 52 didn't show any signs of amourshipping hints so I don't there will be huge hints, but we do get hints in some episodes that we expect not to have any hints at all, so we will see!

But, when looking from outside the show, in TR's case, that's just them doing their 'stuff' in a cartoon-ish approach. I still remember a Tom and Jerry ep, when Jerry was disguised as a chick while hiding from Tom, and of course using none other than a yellow feather, which of course is not enough to hide his identity, but still unrecognized by the mother. In short, the writers are keeping them disguised as recognizable individuals to give the children the childish-suspense vibe.

Regarding a possible event after the flashback, I'm going to wait patiently until another character from their past appears, and talks about his/her past with them blah blah blah. And then we will see what happens then.

TR's disguise is more of an in-joke or a gag to the show. Satoshi has a one-track mind unless he's reminded by someone or something. Were they together for the rest of the camp? Did they encounter Gary? Serena didn't reveal more, than we saw in XY007 because it was enough for him to add 2+2. She already reminded Ash who she really is. It's just uncommon for him to remember someone instantaneously after he saw a handkerchief. IMHO that wouldn't be possible, if those events were irrelevant to him.

Yeah, something like XY009 could happen, with Ash worrying about Serena and forgetting about the other two. It'll also be interesting to hear Ash say 'Serena-tachi' during the episode like he always does when he's talking about Serena and someone else. I think it's a small thing, but I'm quite fond of it

I don't think Satoshi even tried to forget either Eureka or Citron just because Serena is in danger. Citron and Eureka are his friends to him just as much as Serena is a friend to him. The beauty of this is (personally) I feel that he, the "dense idiot" as others would claim, held Serena, his very own current female companion in high regard everytime he stresses out whenever she's in danger. I feel that the writers often set that up. Whether you guys think those could be hints are debatable it surely is up to you, but I just prefer to celebrate the smallest things such as those because I feel not only that Satoshi's maturity is emphasized here, but I'm also really glad he was able to do something like this on a different level for his female companion.

Some people say that it'll be really hard for the new female companion/s of the upcoming gen/s to even ship her with Satoshi and outmatch Serena's credential in terms of shippping, not that I disagree but I also feel personally that we may not see this kind of trait that Satoshi has right now IF he and Serena were about to get seperated at the end of XY.

Remember how he was first looking for Nyoromo? Probably, after he escorted Serena back to the camp, he left her and continued on to find the Pokemon again. I highly doubt that they encountered Shigeru back then. If that happened, Serena would have been asking about him. The handkerchief originally belongs to Satoshi, the moment he saw it, he'd probably knew about the girl he helped before.

If that's the case, I've already thought a possible scenario while staying true to the amnesia Satoshi had back then. It's possible he walked her to her mother after the incident, and that's when they last met. After that, Serena was too shy to even go near him, and so she hides wherever, and muttering things like *He's cute* or something like that, while being watched by a potential upcoming character that is going to be introduced during the course of XY.

Reading the few earlier pages somehow reminds me of last year's end-of-year fake rumors.

Man, I wish I could skipped right to Meecle episode.

Also, I think this month's Pokemon Fan might put a focus on the date episode beside other upcoming episodes like R-dan's Maaiika one.
