HAVEN!!!! So nice to hear Serena again but she sounds a lot younger then she did in XY. And it looks like Sylveon kept its Japanese voice, which is really lame.

I don't necessary agree that it was "more shippy" I still think Japanese version was more impactful with the "Friends forever" theme from XY games however I'm happy they used a much slower version of the kiss scene song here, it felt really nostalgic, overall goob job.

It doesn't have the same impact compared to the Japanese dub due to the music choice. Agreed that the OST used in the Japanese dub made the moment more dramatic. Still, the way Serena said that she'll be the top coordinator after Ash said he'll be the best trainer is just as good.
EDIT: Maybe it's just me but when she was talking to Chloe, Serena sounded like her usual self compared to the Japanese dub where she speaks more maturely until she sees Ash again. Not that it's a bad thing mind you.

Well Serena he's now the second strongest in the world, I hope you appear in some shape or form for the final battle.
Seeing this again in the dub is bringing back some old feelings from when I saw it the first time in Japanese.

For sure! Also, what people pointed out the music in this episode was so good! As someone who can stomach Goldfarb's music more than most, this was easily one of his better scored episodes PERIOD.
