Oh no, you misunderstand. I'm not being pessimstic, quite the opposite in fact. I'm just saying that I truly think that if Serena doesn't get a special episode, there must be something bigger planned for her further down the line because let's face it: her popularity should prevent her from being confined to just one post series special episode.

It started from DP fk all the previous generations. And most of the time these specials will have something crucial in the future. (Eg. Dawn's Cyndaquil evolved, Nooo I love Cyndaquil )

I should've really said "something else planned" because I have absolutely no idea what that "something" could be. Anyone got any ideas what it could possibly be?

really i don't we'll know anything new on the 16'th. It's obious at this point that if serena is going to Alola Witch is very likely she's going to go away and then cam back A la brock. if she is going to alola they'll try to make it a surprise, so they might reveal the characters but no matter if serena returs, they won't show. Wether sge'll be back or not, we won't know till she is back (or episodes go by without her doing so). s no nothing new on the 16th
IDK what will be revealed for the anime, but for the games, i'm not sure, but if i had to bet on it, i'd say kalos returning (jhoto style)
Now wether Serena will be back, well...she will i'm as sure as i've ever been of something. alola just screams serena. i see more reasons for her to go there yhan ash himself

Question time:supposin serena goes to alola would you rather have any of the two of them follow the other or havem cassually meet there?

Personally i'd love ash to follow serena but, well, yeah... that. ain't. gonna. happen. From the two plausible choises i'd love if they met by pure fate

Typing this stuff because we believe that Serena will come back to Ash. I guess it's fine since we have the advantage that it's a legitimate crush given by the writers. Unless they decide to ruin everything for us in the upcoming episodes or give Ash a new love interest, which I highly doubt anyways.

I honestly hope they get rid of Ash by that time... Who knows, there might be an anime reboot as soon as gen 8. And I have/do support the shippings you mentioned and at this point I think amourshipping will go the same route, it's not what I want but it will most likely happen

I don't want her to simply stand there for X amount of years and have us run in circles. A ship is only canon to me if the two halves are in one piece. If not, we get the Titanic.

I get what you are saying and that's why I think Ash will move on soon. Regardless of marketability, a character eventually runs out of story line. It's tough to say how Alola will be written but unless they want Ash and Serena to travel as a couple, the two of them will be done with their journeys at the end of Gen7 or maybe Gen8.

To me, Ash isn't a character. He is simply a skin little kids can put on. If there is no story, then the executives will make a story until he stops making money. In this anime, money trumps story.

Like previous one, we didn't even know that Alain was the main part there xD. It was Clemont focused they said but that was a big troll.

I dont think serena4alola will be running in circles. if this 3-hour (+part four on te way) by lockstin is right, SM is the end before a reboot. The last series for ash, that's why i want serena 4 alola. The series end (B4 a reboot) with them toghether, and then can onto a new charcter.

I like the moment with the Prism tower in the background , I think an emotional moment like the haircut will coming back but this time it is about saying goodbye to Ash unfortunately...

Hate to break the pessimism here but that scene could be about anything. Anywhere from talking about Satoshi to even only saying that she's having a Performance in Luminose, which could surprise Bonnie too.

And about the crush part, yes, Bonnie knows, but Serena's never publicly acknowledged it before so that could shock anyone, but again, I doubt that scene's about about that

It's definitely the biggest part of the episode, because the narrator talks about the battle, and then he's like, "And then! Important point!" But it's not a confession. He talks about how Serena was wavering on the path as a Performer, but now she comes to a decision. And her decision is... He doesn't say, but based on that context, I'd say she's almost definitely going to continue on as a performer. Unless they're just baiting you there.

Bonny: (...Ok, so what she's saying here is kinda vague for me, an intermediate speaker. She says, "Zettai ni mitenai?" Ok, so, "Zettain ni" means "absolutely," or "defininitely." And then "mitenai..." I know "not trying." As in, "You're definitely not trying it?" Or, I think it could also mean "doesn't seem"... The general meaning could be that the choicei isn't what Bonnie expected from Serena? Or something. I'm actually not sure how vague this would be for a fluent speaker... it might be purposely vague, and won't be clear until there's context.
