    Student Code of Conduct

    Introduction,
In accordance with the mandate required by the Immortal Ministry, all students attending Amrita Academy will be provided a Code of Conduct handbook, from now on referred to as the Code. Students receive handbooks so they fully understand their responsibilities and rights. Schools accomplish their educational purposes in a learning climate in which the rights and responsibilities of each individual are known and respected. Brought on in these rights is the responsibility of respecting the rights of others. Education cannot take place unless there is an atmosphere of good order and discipline described as the absence of distractions and disturbances.

Removal by Teachers and Other Forms of Discipline,

    1. A teacher may refer a student to the principal or designee's office to maintain effective discipline in the classroom.
    2. A teacher may remove from class a student whose behavior the teacher determines is so unruly or disruptive that it seriously interferes with the teacher's ability to communicate effectively with the students in the class or with the ability of the student's classmates to learn.
    3. A teacher may give out detentions for any reason, involving misconduct or consecutive rulebreaking.
    4. The Head Mistress may suspend (suspension is when the student is banned from class or anywhere else other then their dorm, the bathroom and the cafeteria) or expell (expulsion is when the student is kicked from the academy and sent home) any student, within her rights.

    Rules and Policies,

    1. Students will not disturb class.
    2. Students must listen and comply to all professor and staff demands.
    3. Students shall not bully.
    4. Students shall not break the curfew of 12:00 AM.
    5. All electronics such as cell phones, laptop computers, pagers, handheld gaming devices and other type of technology may not be on or used during class hours which are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM unless allowed by a teacher.
    7. All fighting will cause a number of disciplinary actions ranging from a week of detention to a month long suspension.
    8. Cheating on tests or any other form of work shall cause an automatic fail in that course.
    9. Bullying will NOT be tolerated and will be dealt with swiftly and harshly.
    10. When students stay back from class they must be authorized by either a nurse, a professor or a parent so that they do not recieve detention.
    11. When students skip class, they will be given a detention.
    12. While students are highly encouraged to use their powers while on campus, they are not to be used off campus or during class hours unless allowed by the teacher.

    Rankings
THAT PESKY LITTLE INTEGER ON THE LEFT SIDE
All students are given a number (between 1 and 4) based on several factors including, but not limited to:

    • SPECIES
Species effects a student's ranking quite a bit. Gods tend to sit within the 1 to3 ranking ranges, while Demi-Gods often sit in the 2 to 3 ranges and finally Personifications capping out in the 3 to 4 ranges. These numbers vary, of course, and students may exist outside of their species's normal ranking range. These are simply where we've found these species often exist.

    • INTENSITY OF POWERS
In the same vein as species, the intensity of a student's powers at any given time will often change their rankings. Thus, Ranks are completely fluid, commonly changing as students grow throughout their years here at the academy.

    • DILUTION
Often refered to as "Blood Dilution", or more accurately "Domain Dilution," this refers to where students sit between the purest form of their aspect (explained below) and humanity. The more their powers and domains have been known to be used by humans in their everyday lives, the higher their number.

    Aspects
THE WORLD IS COUNTED IN THREES
To further specialize our care for our students, we have named three aspects that all students are sorted into based on their powers: Aeonite, Arcane and Aphotic. Each aspect has it's specific needs and interactions and as such has it's own counsellors and student representatives. Often times, a student's aspect is based on their domain, while for others it may be based on the myths and lore of their ancestors.

    • AEONITE
    the mind and the sky,

The creators and leaders of this world all began as school children with their heads in the clouds. The mind is an uplifting, bright place, and as such, so are those of the Aeonite aspect. With powers held high above the heads of men, domains that fall under Aeonite are often fall under the categories of sky, mind, healing and light elements. It is not uncommon for those who fall under this aspect to be proud, confident and outspoken about themselves and their place in life. They're Aeonites! Not even the heavens can limit their potential.

What this aspect lacks in wisdom, it makes up for in ideas. Misguided at times, it's not unusual for these students to be a little overzealous with their self image. Looked highly upon by many of the elders, the Aeonites are the ones generally expected to lead the current generation into an era of prosperity.

Examples of olden gods that would fall under the Aeonite aspect if they had been born in the Amritian pantheon are Ra, Zeus, Harmonia, Huginn and Munnin. Being the second largest aspect of the three, Aeonites have 3 student representatives on the student council, 2 student counselors and 1 teacher team leader.

    • ARCANE
    the body and the earth,

The backbone of every society is in those grounded to the earth they walk on. The body and the powers it can contain are immense, and those of the Arcane aspect reflect the strength within themselves. Even for the gods, the ability to touch and feel the world around them is one of the most important parts of their lives- to understand the human experience is key. With powers resting in the world of men, domains that fall under Arcane are often fall under the categories of physical elements, magics and alchemy, the body and many, many others. It is not uncommon for those who fall under this aspect to be level headed, down to earth and relatively well preserved. There's no need to think themselves over anyone else; all have potential.

What this aspect lacks in ambition, it makes up for in steadfastness. While Aeonites and Aphotics have a flashy quality to them, it is the powers in the Arcane that can be relied on most often. With powers that rarely go haywire, an arcane can call upon their abilities with about as much ease as breathing, and just as naturally. A divine of the arcane quality may often find themselves surrounded by kin, but despite their numbers, they are the ones typically revered and feared by mankind. If a mortal speaks of a god, it's most likely going to be due to the effects of an Arcane.

Examples of olden gods that would fall under the Arcane aspect if they had been born in the Amritian pantheon are Poseidon, Hephetsus, Annupurna, Nantosuelta, Ochosi and Sun Wukong. Being easily the largest aspect of the three, Arcanes have 5 student representatives on the student council, 3 student counselors and 1 teacher team leader.

    • APHOTIC
    the soul and the otherworld

There is no essence of being as eternal as the soul itself. It is old and well worn, but it is everlasting. So long as there are still stars in the night sky, the spirit will persevere until the end of time. But, eternity is unknown. And people fear what they cannot comprehend, thus bring us to the final aspect; Aphotic. Easily the most easily misunderstood aspect, Aphotic domains consist heavily of things that fall under darkness, chaos, death, sleep and ethereal wisdom. Those who fall under this aspect often hold a greater understanding of the world as a whole and are very slow to defend that they are not the villains here. Death not the end, just as darkness is not evil.

With their greater understanding of the universe and old souls, Aphotics are gifted with having the propensity for changing reality itself. However, with great power comes great responsibility: a phrase all great Aphotics come to live by. They are well aware that as their powers can consume and alter the world around them, so too can they alter and consume themselves. A bad Aphotic may find themselves put down by their own gift soon enough, or even by other deities if spun too far out of control.

Examples of olden gods that would fall under the Aphotic aspect if they had been born in the Amritian pantheon are Hades, Morpheus, Tutu, Erebus, Hel and Notte. Being smallest aspect of the three, Aphotics have between 1 and 2 student representatives on the student council, 1 student counselor and 1 teacher team leader.

Your first post should be your character getting settled into their dorm, no classes for the first three days as students pile in. (Also if you could put each of your character's class schedules in your post in a spoiler tag or something that would be great)

    Estelle Tourne
    Third Year
    Demi-Goddess of Dreams and Sleep
    Dormitories | Third Floor | Room 301 (8:05pm)

Estelle yawned loudly, the registry had taken forever to get her information sorted out. Their human screening process was long and arduous and it was almost looking as though they didn't trust that she was actually the Demi-God that she had claimed. It was ridiculous, they expected her to present her powers just like that. Not that that was an easy feat to preform. She actually had to force one of the attendants to sleep and then enter into his dreams before they believed her, now all she wanted to do was have her own dreams and snuggle in for a snooze. She had been told that it was very rare for students to room alone, so she found herself curious who her roommate would be --- also if they would be comfortable with her setting foot in their dreams. Probably not, honestly. But it never hurt to ask. She looked at her piece of paper, it seemed that she would be staying on the third floor in room 301. Her roommate's name was also written on the paper, Fae Beaufort. She had to wonder what she would be like, and more importantly, what sort of gifts her godly parent had left for her.

She rode the elevator up to the third floor of the dorm building, countless doors stood in her wake when she arrived. The right side appeared to be even numbers, and to her left were odd numbers. She found it nice that she was the first door on the left, as she wouldn't have to think much if she wished to sleep-walk. She put her key in the door and gave it a turn, walking into her new home for the next two years. Her stuff was in tow, mostly just her clothing however --- stuff to decorate her space had already been moved by the staff into her room. The room was quite plain, white walls, wooden floors, two desks on either side of the room and two single beds. Estelle looked at them both, she would totally prefer the comfier one, however they both looked like the same bed through and through. She decided to make her decision should would need to test them both, she could totally unpack in a bit.

She laid on the bed on the left, it was average. Not too hard, not too fluffy. The pillow was a little hard though, it made her neck ache. She walked to the one on the right, laying on it. It sunk under her weight, making her sigh in pleasure. It was perfect, and it was time to decorate. She pushed her suitcase and other stuff to the right side of the room, placing her suitcase below the bed. She took off her jacket and her pants, opting to change into her PJ pants as she began to unpack the rest of her stuff. Her side of the room would be decorate purple, string lights hung from above her bed. She knew her roommate would arrive soon, and she couldn't wait to meet her.

Katastrophea of The Tower (Masquerading as the God of Catastrophe)
    Dormitories | Fourth Floor | Room 402 (8:05pm)

Sneaking into this school for the gods was far easier than Jax expected, he thought for sure that he would be caught as a Katastrophea as soon as he walked through the registry door. He had heard the gods were foolish and weak, but he assumed they would be more on guard than this. He's sure that they knew the Katastophea existed, but maybe they didn't understand the full extent. He glanced at the paper in his hand, it had been so easy to pass into their ranks unnoticed. He wondered if any other Katastrophea had done the same, he almost felt in his heart that some had --- but he could not be sure how many. As the elevator reached the fourth floor, he placed his hand on his stomach. He was well fed, for now. But how long would it be until he grew hungry again? He didn't want another student's blood on his hands, but the fact of the matter was that it probably could not be helped. He sighed reading his roommate's name, Nicolas Vespero. He hoped that the poor bastard was some sort of personification, who knew what would happen if he got hungry and his poor roommate was asleep.

He approached the door, first one on the right. Slightly annoying because he would probably hear people coming in and out of the elevator at all hours. He placed his key in the lock, giving it a mild spin. He entered the room and saw... nothing. The room was rather plain, two beds, two desks, and plain walls and floor. It looked like his roommate wasn't here yet, a blessing in disguise. He had time to perfectly plain his introduction and ensure that it was properly, he had to make sure his introduction was perfect. And if Nicolas ever ended up dead... well, he would just have to ensure that he was the perfect friend and mourned his death properly.

    God of Chaos
    Dorms | Third Floor | Room 302 (8:05pm-ish)

Lex tossed his garment bag on top of the left bed (it looked exactly the same as the right bed, so he picked one at random), letting go of the handle of his rolling suitcase. He looked around the room. It was really boring. White walls, plain floors, two identical beds, two identical desks, two identical wardrobes. Just like last year. Couldn't they spring for some color in their paint? He'd have to at least get up some posters.

Lex pulled a hairband from his hoodie pocket and put his golden locks up in a bun, before unzipping the garment bag. Layers of fabric; black, pink, dark blue, purple - dresses, suits, and hoodies mingled together, met him. He gathered these up, unclipping the hangers, and moved them into the wardrobe. He set his dress shoes on the lowest shelf and then zipped up the bag, stowing it under the bed, and setting the suitcase on the bed in it's place.

He wondered how long until his roommate got here. The papers he'd gotten said he was rooming with a one Virgil Isaacs. That was all he knew. The name wasn't familiar, but Lex didn't know everyone, and he knew new students transferred in all the time. Was now the prefect time to set-up a welcoming trap?

The simplest stuff was always amusing. He reached into the side pocket of his suitcase and pulled out a rubber tarantula. He slipped this under the edge of his roomie's pillow, so enough so that it wouldn't really be obvious something was there until Virgil got close. Then he returned to his unpacking.

Demi-God of Music and Memory : Fourth Year
Fourth Floor Dormitories, Room 406, approximately 8:05

    ---♮---

Lucas waltzed into his dorm, humming a little tune to himself. Everything had gone swimmingly so far. He wasn't quite sure why he had to register every single year, after all, he'd been here for awhile, but he was happy to sing a prayer and gain his wings again. It's been a while since he's been able to do that. He set his things at the foot of the bed on the right, before falling on top of it. He had always taken the right bed, and as a fourth year, he wasn't about to break tradition. It seems Amrita didn't want to either, as the room was just as bland as it had been every year he'd been here. That's fine. He'd decorated it in years past, and he's happy to have a blank canvas again. Maybe you should take up interior design. -- Damn, you're right, maybe we should.

Well, there was no time to waste. His roommate, Maxwell Hudson, could be here any minute. He wouldn't want the first impression to be a lazy one! He stood up, stretching his arms, taking a deep breath before pulling his shirt off and throwing it on the bed. Lucas set up a stand for his acoustic guitar, shiny and black with golden accents along the sound hole, neck, and headstock. The electric guitar and violin could stay in their cases, one's not used as much and the other needs to be taken everywhere. He was about to start on putting up various posters when... okay. This would take forever. Thank the heavens for providing a window in his room. He opened up the window, leaning out and breathing in the crisp air. His voice was as silk as he gave the first call for bluebirds, then waited a moment... as clear as day, he could hear the song-bird's response. He called again, stepping away from the window. The response was closer this time. He grinned, singing the last bit of the call, and...

Four bluebirds came flying in, tweeting happily to see their caller again. Lucas laughed as he held out his arms for them to perch, pulling the gleeful chirping mess close to him. "Hey, 'ey, 'ey, yes, I missed you too, I really did, yes, even you," he cooed, nuzzling their feathers with his nose. "I hate to be the jerk to call you only for you to help me, but would that be okay? I need help, or this is going to take forever." The bluebird closest to him nodded his response, the other birds following suit. "Great!" he said with a smile on his face, "I can handle a lot of this, but do you guys wanna help me hang my clothes up? They're just in there, I'll even open the suitcase for you." He lifted his arms to help the birds up, before picking up his suitcase and setting it on the desk, opening it up for the sweet birds who happily began to help him unpack.

He giggled at the sight, before unpacking various other things himself -- books, pencils, music books, extra strings, laptop, chargers... etc. He had a spring in his step as he danced around the room to put things away, his humming turning into a song. "Oh sing, sweet nightingale, sing, sweet nightingale, high above me..." Some of the birds even joined in, happily chirping along.

What's our roommate going to thing when he comes in and sees all this? -- That we're a goddamn disney prince and we're owning it.

    Didyme Thatcher
Demi-Goddess of War and Destruction | Fourth Year
    Dormitories | Fourth Floor | Room 401 (8:05pm-ish
    )

Didyme tapped her foot as paused in the elevator, a black painted fingernail pressing the button for the fourth floor. With a ping, the elevator doors slid shut, and Didyme expressed a small sigh. The registry had taken what seemed like forever to sort her information out; after a tiresome journey here, Didyme just wanted to unpack and relax, so having to wait whilst the attendants muddled around, had only served to annoy her. Personally, she could never understand why she had to register every year. She knew that new students appeared all the time, but surely after attending for some years now they would've had her details on hand...or did they simply get rid of them at the end of the year?

As the doors opened once more, Didyme stepped out into the fourth floor hall, and walked a few steps to her new room. Room 401. As she fumbled for her key, she could already hear the faint rustling of other students in their rooms further down the hall.

As the door to her room opened, she was greeted by the pungent odour of cigarettes, so strong in fact, that she almost coughed. Apparently, her roomate had already arrived. Entering into the room properly, she noted some of her roomate's things littered on the bed. Lifting her own suitcase onto the bed, Didyme unzipped it and began to put away her clothes. She paused to hang her denim jack over the end of her bed, and then proceeded to change into her pyjamas: blue and black chequered shorts, and a short sleeved pyjama top decorated with a cartoon breakfast on the front, with the line "What's Shakin', Bacon?" scrawled across her chest.

After putting her clothes away, Didyme worked on putting the rest of her items out. The two posters she had bought with her, she slid under the bed, deciding to put those up another day. She did stick a polaroid she had of her and her father over her bed. Her blue instax camera, along with two perfumes, her choker, and the most recent edition of Sports illustrated were all place on her bedside table. It was only then that she noticed the can of Red Bull on the table opposite her. Carefully, Didyme picked it up and gave it a light swirl, noting that it was nearly empty. Setting it down, Didyme took note of some of the other items her roomate had left behind. All of these items, coupled with the Red Bull, and smell of cigarettes, meant that Didyme knew exactly who her roomate was. I knew I recognised that name...

And just then, as if drawn by the mere thought of her name, Didyme's roomate, Jessie MacDougall entered. Plopping down on her own bed, Didyme glanced at her roomate.

"MacDouagall." She greeted, a wry smirk playing on her lips as she spoke. "I take it the teachers couldn't stand the rumours about you anymore?"

    Jessalyn MacDougall
    Fourth Year
    Goddess of Death

    Dormitories | Fourth Floor | Room 401 (8:05 PM)

Behind the school building, Jessie leaned against a cool marble pillar as she exhaled cigarette smoke from her mouth. Registration was a bitch once again. This was already her third year in school, and she didn't know why the school couldn't just stop wasting time and save registration for first-time entrants, with special processes for those who wanted out. Not to mention, she just found out a few days ago that she was going to be required to have a roommate this time, after rooming alone for the past two years...and she had a feeling she knew the reason...well, in all honesty, reasons, why she suddenly got herself a roommate, even when her hostile demeanor was more than well-known.

Them damn rumors, she thought as she touched her cigarette to her lips again; her last puff. They had been following her ever since the start of her junior year, and though she didn't exactly pay any heed to them (much older men weren't her type, thank you very much), it did get annoying to hear too much of it. She didn't mind having a bad reputation, in fact, she relished in it, but hearing repeated talk about apparently sleeping with her teachers to pass her classes was growing old. Sure, she did regularly break curfew, enjoyed sneaking out at night by bribing Zack, didn't have the best behavior and smuggled alcohol on-campus. However, with the way everyone talked, she just had the suspicion that it had to do with ending the rumors about her sleeping around, which meant another person had to be present in the room. Another person, who, of course, could very well be awesome...or could just as well be an awful, uppity sort who would have issues with her from the start. She was going to find out soon enough, and if her roomie was going to have an issue with her smoking and drinking, she was going to give them a present - a cracked jaw or worse.

"Better not be one of those damn posh motherfuckers," she mumbled to herself as she exhaled the last of the smoke, dropping her cigarette butt and stomping down on it with her heavy combat boot. She then pushed her black hood off her head, grabbed the handle of her black suitcase of clothing and essentials - she had already brought some of her stuff, her alcohol, drinks and cigarettes, as well as some of her clothes into the room she was going to be sharing - and carried it over her shoulder with ease. She entered the elevator, pressed the button for the fourth floor and waited. The elevator door slid shut with an annoyingly bright ping, and Jessie grunted in response. A few moments passed before she reached the fourth floor, and once the elevator doors slid open, she wasted no time in hefting her heavy suitcase over her shoulder once more and exiting the metal box. Luckily for her, Room 401 was the closest to the elevator.

Once she stopped at the door, she noticed that it was slightly ajar, meaning that her roommate had already settled in. Balancing her suitcase on her shoulder, she laid her right hand, covered in its usual black leather fingerless glove, on the door and pushed it open.

"MacDougall." A familiar voice greeted...a pleasantly familiar voice at that. "I take it the teachers couldn't stand the rumours about you anymore?" Jessie looked to see that it was Didyme. A small, relieved smile crossed her face. They had met last year, when Jessie was trying out for sports clubs and to obtain permission to choose sports-related electives as well. Didyme had been one of the screeners and had very high standards - Jessie fought many rounds and had to show herself to be a standout in order to prove herself capable - having her vitality-draining powers did help some, and managed to impress the usually difficult-to-impress Didyme. During the past year, they had actually become real friends - the demigod of war didn't exactly believe the rumors, and she was frankly awesome to boot. Jessie appreciated Didyme's snark, sense of humor, thick skin and strength, that was for sure. She was definitely pleased that she was rooming with someone whom she knew and could trust.

"Yeah, them pussies probably couldn't handle it, man. My guess is that they wished the rumors pointed to that Fae chick or Andre instead?" She replied, chuckling roughly as she set down her suitcase on her bed, shedding off her newsboy cap, vest and fingerless gloves before she began unpacking. She took some heavy metal posters and put them up on her wall, then took out a stack of heavy metal records, which she placed on her bedside table. She picked up her nearly-empty can of Red Bull and gulped down the last of it, throwing it in the trash before she bent over and pulled out a few more cans of Red Bull under her bed, the same place where she stashed her alcohol. She grinned at Didyme.

"These are for you, D. Everyone knows you chug 'em like fucking water, like a badass" she remarked as she handed the cans to her roommate. Some black leather chokers and cuffs, her motorcycle keys, her eyeliner and her pack of cigarettes joined her heavy metal albums on her bedside table. She then took her time to put her clothes - all of them black - away, though as usual, she wasn't the neatest about it. Once she was finished, she then changed into her nightclothes - a loose tank top with a Grim Reaper print on its front, and simple short black boxer shorts - and undid the messy braid she usually wore, shaking her waist-length hair out. She then turned to face her roommate, a smirk on her face.

"So, let's practice?" She offered. "Registration was a fucking pain in the ass."

    Monster Guy Fairy Tale Man

    Max Hudson
Personification of a Unicorn; Fourth Year
Fourth Floor Dormitories, Room 406, approximately 8:05

Max wasn't sure why he had to register each and every year. You would think after being here a while, they would remember the lavender unicorn boy. Once everything was taken care of, Max happily made his way towards his dorm, in fully human form, and with several bags in tow. He was happy to be back at the Academy, where he wouldn't have to hide his unicorn features in public. It was comporable to having to pretend to be straight. Being a Unicorn made Max special, and the cool magical powers didn't hurt either.

The wonderful thing about Amrita Academy in Max's opinion, was all the hot guys that attended. With all the Gods and Demigods here, everyone was gorgeous. The other male personifications weren't bad either. One of the nice things about being gay was getting to share a dorm with a hot guy every year. Now that he was single again, he would be able to fully enjoy it. His papers had said he was rooming with someone named Lucas Moncrief. Max was sure he had seen someone with that name around campus, but hadn't really paid much attention. He already had a boyfriend at home at the time.

When Max got to the door, he could have sworn he heard music coming from the other side. A male voice, accompanied by the sounds of birds chirping? Max raised an eyebrow, then opened the door, and entered the dorm not knowing what to expect.

He opened the door, and saw a scene straight out of a Disney movie. Several bluebirds flying around the room putting clothes away. What made it better, was the hot shirtless guy singing a song Max was very familiar with. This guy was practically a male Snow White. Hair as black as ebony, skin as white as snow, beautiful singing voice, songbirds helping to decorate, all that was missing was the lips as red as blood and it would be perfect.

Max giggled, dropped his bags on the floor, and joined in on the singing. Once it was finished, Max took Lucas' hand and shook it vigorously. "Hi, you must be Lucas Moncrief, I'm Max Hudson. Nice to meet cha!" He said with a smile. "Well, aren't I lucky. I get to share a room with a Disney prince!" He said, laughing out loud. "And the fairest of them all, no less!"

Max gave Lucas a pat on his bare chest, and then went over to unpack his own things. "I hope you don't mind sharing a room with a fluffy unicorn!" As he said this he took off his purple hoodie, and started glowing, and changed into a Unicorn boy. His skin became lavender horse hair, his hair and eyes turned purple, his human ears were replaced with horse ears, he got a horse tail, and a unicorn horn sprouted out of his forehead. Some of the bluebirds in the room got excited and perched themselves on Max's glowing magical horn.

Using unicorn magic, Max lifted several things out of his bags, and neatly put them away. First all of his clothes went into the closet. Then he put away several other objects. A sketchbook, pencils, pens, markers, paintbrushes, paints, a portable easel, a large lavender unicorn plushie that Max plopped onto his bed, and other things I don't feel like listing. He did this while prancing around the room, singing a different Disney song. Various objects were magically floating around the room.

♪"I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream
I know you, that look in your eyes is so familiar a gleam
Yet I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem
But if I know you, I know what you'll do
You'll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream
But if I know you, I know what you'll do
    You'll love me at once
The way you did once upon a dream"♪

"Well, don't just stand there gawking at the magical unicorn boy. Tell me about yourself!" Max said as he continued magically moving stuff, and humming the rest of the song. His phone rang at some point, but Max pressed a button to silence it, and ignored it. He was distracted by other things at the moment, and he could always call back later.

Max stopped humming when he caught sight of the shiny black guitar on it's stand, and his smile became a frown. Robbie had been dead for a while, he knew he shouldn't be getting emotional at the sight of an acoustic guitar, yet here it was happening anyway. "Oh? You play?" He asked, sounding serious before his face brightened again. "I love musicians! Actually, I love hot guys period, but I used to date a guy who played an acoustic guitar too. He was the best! He played love songs he wrote just for me and everything! I also found out guitarists can also do other nice things with their hands too." Max laughed while rubbing the back of his head nervously. Then his expression got serious. He's dead now... Max mumbled under his breath.

    Leo Silverstone
God of the Sun; Fourth Year
Fourth Floor Dormitories, Room 408 approximately 8:05 AM

The process of registration took forever! Leo didn't understand why they didn't keep his information each year, he had been here for long enough. Leo was glad it was over though, and now he could head off to his room. While most people would be glad to have their own room, Leo was disappointed he wasn't going to have a roommate this year. Sure, not having to share a bathroom was nice, but he liked having someone around to talk to. It was lonely being in a dorm room all by yourself.

As soon as Leo entered the room, he plopped his bags on to one of the beds, and he was done unpacking for the moment. Putting stuff away could happen later. It wasn't like he had anybody to clean up after. The room was bland, as per usual. It made sense considering different people moved in and out each year, but that didn't change the fact that this room was absolutely boring. He would need to put some posters up, and decorate the room with plushies to liven things up a bit.

Since it was nighttime, Leo couldn't stand in front of the window, and take in some sunshine. So, Leo decided to call his friends, and see what they were up to. First he called Max Hudson. They bonded over My Little Pony when they met, and the fact that Max was a Unicorn himself. Max's phone rang and rang but Max didn't pick up. "Hm, that's weird. Max usually always answers his phone."

Next, Leo decided to call his other friend André Bellamy. André was the first person that spoke to him when he started here. He was actually pretty nice, despite being a Movie Star. Unlike Max, André picked up immediately.

Demigod of Love and Beauty: Fourth Year
Fourth Floor Dormitories, Room 404 approximately 8:05 ♥

André made it through the registration rather easily. Being a wealthy Movie Star, a son of a Love Goddess, and a Demigod in his own right made things easier. André actually got to his room before his roommate did. The room was bland as ever, but André had expected that. He knew he would have to fix up the room to suit his tastes. He made a quick phone call, and moments later André's servants came running in to put his stuff away. Another benefit of having money, being able to pay people to do the boring stuff for you. He was very much looking foward to meeting his roommate. His roommate this time was Zackary Lascelles. They've met a few times before, but André mostly knew him from his modelling career. It was nice to have someone who understood what it was like being a celebrity.

While his people were unpacking his things, André stood in front of a mirror, and tried on different outfits using his Blessing of Beauty power, and admiring his reflection. André enjoyed being able to snap his fingers and try on different looks. He knew it was a pointless endeavor, considering his powers made it so that he would always look perfect no matter what he did, but old habits die hard, and he still enjoyed it nonetheless. In the middle of this, his phone rang. André reverted to his original outfit, and answered the call. It was his friend Leo Silverstone on the other end. "Bonsoir, Leonardo, mon ami!"

"Hey André." Leo responded from the other end. "I don't have a roommate this year. Would you mind if I came over? It's kind of lonely here all by myself."

"Bien sûr que oui" André cheerfully replied. "My roommate has not gotten here yet anyway. I would be happy to have you"

The Sun God knocked on the door, and André invited him in barely moments later. André greeted him the same way he greeted nearly everybody. With a kiss on each cheek. "So, have you spoken to Maxwell today?"

Leo shook his head no. "He didn't answer his phone."

André giggled. "If I know Maxwell the way I think I do, that is probably because he is distracted by a handsome roommate. C'est magnifique! It is so nice to see him in love again, after that unfortunate incident with his last relationship..."

Leo nodded in agreement, then plopped himself on one of the beds. "So, who is you're roommate gonna be?"

"Zackary Lascelles!" André replied happily. "I believe the two of you are familiar with one another, oui? He is your opposite after all."

"Oh yeah, I know him! I'm a God of the Sun, and he's a God of the Night. We're like Celestia and Luna here!" Leo laughed out loud at the mention of that. "We never really talk much though. Can't imagine why..."

"Oh? Well then, I will have to fix that then? For now, you may want to get off of his bed. He could be here at any minute."

    Leo stood up. "Right, sorry!"

17 lets out a soft sigh and lays her small suitcase down at the foot of her bed. She had never owned a lot of possessions, so the process of unpacking would be easy when she decided to go through with it. But right now, all she wants is a bit of rest and maybe some food to eat. The screening process had been arduous and incredibly stressful, especially for her. But even then, they had seemingly failed to detect her… un-godly nature. Either the entire screening was a farce designed to make the security look better than it is, or it was a trap of sorts, or they were just that incompetent. Shaking her head, she locks the door to the room. If her roommate comes, she’d open it. But right now, she wants some privacy.

The ghostly figure of her brother materialises from nothing on the other bed in the room, seated with one leg crossed over the other, the familiar, confident smile on his face. Congratulations, 17. the voice echoes in her mind, And welcome to your new home.

“I want nothing to do with you.” she replies, averting her eyes and not bothering to hide the hatred and contempt in her voice, “I would appreciate it if you go away, and stay away.”

Relax. her Arcana continues, You journey is just beginning. There is still much for you to do.

“That wasn’t a request.” 17 growls, “It was a command. Leave.”

Her arcane lets out a laugh, but stops talking. The ghostly figure disintegrates into nothing, leaving only a blank, featureless wall where his golden hair and red eyes had been. She lies down on her bed, raising a single arm over her eyes. Her other hand begins to glow with a golden colour, and her suitcase opens itself up, the few garments and other items she owned flying out and arranging themselves in the part of the wardrobe that’s designated as her’s. The light flicks itself off, leaving the room in darkness.

This was way harder than I thought it would be...

    Zackary Lascelles
God of the Night - Fourth Year
    Fourth Floor Dormitories.

For some unexplained reason, Zack needed to go through registry again, even though this was his fourth year at the academy, and the fact that he was in top 3 of its most famous students, even though the academy staff never revealed the actual list. It was pretty late, which was no problem for Zack, as he never slept anymore anyway. Didn't have the physiological need to. His moving crew however, did. Even though he himself felt like he owned a rather modest amount of items for a student of his place, he did in reality have about 4 times more stuff than the actual average student, and the moving people made no effort in hiding their displeasure about it. They had all been on the move all day, after all.

It kind of a downer that his roommate for the year was going to be Andrè Bellamy, the famous actor. The two of them had met on a few occasions during the earlier schoolyears, and they had both starred in a movie together when they were both very young. A movie of which, they both agreed they would never speak of outside of the set. He was a pretty nice guy, no doubt about it. What Zack disliked about him, however, was all the pink, and the over the top theatrics He'd just have to get used to it. By school policy, the new dorm would be located on the fourth floor of the dormitory building. Zack knew the building well as he had quite literally lived his way up there through the past 3 years. Though he would prefer living on his own, it was somewhat refreshing having a roommate, and he would especially miss the drama that ensued when the Leviathan Personification would walk in on him while he ate sushi during his second year.

As Zack entered the room, he saw that Andre was not alone in there. Getting up just as he walked in the door sat some other guy he didn't know. Zack did not enjoy having strangers in his room, and even less that they were in his way. He gave the dark-haired guy an ominously grim stare as he walked past him towards the bed. Once he got there, he took a deep breath, and laid down on the bed. Yup, the room looked the same as it had done when he lived in the floor below. Fairly plain and boring, and with a generously large bathroom for the both of them to share. He had no issues with sharing bathroom with Andre. He knew well that he was a neat-freak, and kept the place tidy at all times. As he did the same, the only real issue would be fighting over who gets the best spots for all their products. And there was A lot of products. varying from plain toothpaste to exotic perfumes from only gods knew where.

Speaking of exotic shower gels and the likes. The moving crew was now entering his room with his bags. He could easily have carried them all himself, but he just took a shower when he left the hotel in Bali, and his hair was laying just the right way, which he wouldn't want to mess up for anything. They silently entered the room and put his stuff neatly in front of his bed where he was sitting up as if on a throne. "Thank you , that would be all. I will notify my assistance for your salary." he said as he gestured for them to leave with his hands. After they left, he shifted his attention towards Andre and the other guy, whom he now gave a genuine smile, in contrast to the gloomy thing he had going on before.

"Hey, Andre! How fun, we're going to be roommates this year! Wasn't exactly thrilled when i found out but eh, who cares?". he said as he began unpacking a few of his books from one of the bags, placing them accordingly on a shelf above his bed. "Haven't heard from you since Paris in February, did you not get my texts?", he kept babbeling on as he unpacked, now moving towards the bathroom, where all of Andre's stuff had neatly been placed already. Luckily, the bathroom was spacious, with lots of shelving, making it simpler for Zack to organize his things. "I was going to call you earlier, but figured it would be rude to potentially wake you up in case you were resting. whose idea was it anyway to have these obligatory shenanigans at this ungodly hour?" he continued. He chuckled a bit on the last part, well aware that the joke was dry, and overused.

He was now made aware of the other presence in the room again. "I guess it would be rude of me not to introduce myself. Hey, I'm Zackary. Son of Nyx and Astraeos. Crusader of the night, embodiment of the stars, yadda yadda yadda, all that stuff". The guy looked familiar, and he had a certain weak glow, just like himself. Only.. Sunnier. He had probably met the guy before but didn't recognize him. That happened a lot.

Why. Why the rabbit. Why couldn't he have given enough of a rat's ass to turn into something more ominous, like a dog, or a stallion. Energy and space reasons, the Arcana whispered in Nico's head. Nico sighed. He was right. Rabbits don't cost much energy, and while food was abundant here, he didn't want to waste too much. It was just the registration table, and he had to prove he was one of them. It was easy to fake being the son of those weird Roman ladies, Morta was her name? It worked. Oh, he'd have fun here alright... He read over the registration papers as he took the elevator, reading the name Jax Bela over and over again. He hoped Jacques was a personification. It would be a little awkward if his roommate went missing, though he had fed recently so it wouldn't be too suspicious. He thought Jacques was a weird name for a girl, though. Must be French. They're all crazy.

The room was right outside of the elevator. Not fun, but he'd live. Checking the handle, he noted it was unlocked; Jax must be in there already. Nico took a deep breath, and opened the door. He hoped she wouldn't be too weirded out--

"Oh my God." Nico looked over at his roommate, over at the number, back at the papers, back at Jax. He was rooming with a guy. Oh God. Ohgodohgodohgod this is NOT what I was expecting. Nico shook his head. I take off my binder and I'm dead. Deep breath. "This is room 402, right? Yes? Alright." He looked up and down at his roommate, moving to the bed across from him. He was kind of cute. A little taller, cute ginger hair, and dark eyes... the kid really was a looker. "I'm going to assume you're Jacques?" God, it was like trying to pass for the first time all over again. Is he tall enough? Flat enough? Is his voice low enough? Should he have skipped shaving before coming? No, no. We're fine. Nico stuck his hand out, his stance firm and confident. "I'm Nicolas. Just call me Nico, everyone else does and it's a hellova lot faster."

Lucas was too busy dancing and singing to even notice the door open, or that someone had started to sing along with him. The song eventually ended, with Lucas emulating Cinderella, jokingly chiding a bluebird who had dropped a shirt on the floor. He stood up and spun around and ohmygodwhoishe

The boy had taken Lucas's hand and started vigorously shaking it. "Hi, you must be Lucas Moncrief, I'm Max Hudson. Nice to meet cha!" Max said, grinning. "Well, aren't I lucky. I get to share a room with a Disney prince! And the fairest of them all, no less!" he giggled.

"Just call me Prince Charming," Lucas said softly, still trying to process what all just happened. The bluebirds, distracted from their task, decided to flutter up and perch on Lucas's shoulders, though one in particular decided to perch on his head. (Damn sassy bird.)

Max gave Lucas a quick tap on the chest, startling him before walking over and starting to get his own things out. "I hope you don't mind sharing a room with a fluffy unicorn!" he said, taking off his purple hoodie and... starting to glow? Suddenly everything was purple. He couldn't tell what he should focus on, the lavender fur, the tail, or the unicorn horn that had sprouted from his forehead. (Damn sassy bird decided to fly up and perch on Max's horn. "Get back here," Lucas hissed under his breath, "Haven't you heard of a little thing we like to call personal space?" The bluebird rolled its eyes and flew back to his caller's head.) He could only watch as unicorn Max lifted his things out of his bag and wherever they needed to be, flawlessly, effortlessly. He was even singing a different disney song. Not personally one of his favorites, but he did have to admit that Prince Phillip was a damn good looking dude. After watching Max for a bit, damn sassy bird gave a low chirp. How dare this purple boy show him up. Lucas patted him on the head to silence him.

"Well, don't just stand there gawking at the magical unicorn boy. Tell me about yourself!" Max said, still magically moving things and sing-songy tone in his voice. Lucas couldn't get out a word before Max just... froze. He stopped humming as his smile turned into a frown. Lucas followed his gaze to his guitar. "Oh? You play?" he asked, almost sounding distraught before brightening up again. "He's dead now..."

That last part obviously wasn't meant to be heard. Lucas gazed deep into Max's eyes. He didn't mean to walk through someone's memories without asking but... "I... I'm sorry," Lucas said, softly, taking a step closer to Max. His bluebirds backed off, flitting off onto the bed to give the boys some space. "I know I shouldn't, shouldn't walk through memories, but it's hard not to when someone opens up to me like this..." He relaxed, giving Max a small smile. "He was really cute, seems really friendly too. I understand why you liked him." He took Max's hand, his expression fading more sympathetic. "I'm so sorry your time with him was cut short. I can understand, I've had people taken from me too"

Lucas stepped back suddenly, looking away. "If you don't want me to play while you're here, I understand. I know how memories work, I don't want to bring up any bad ones." He gave a small chuckle, looking back at Max. "But if you'd like, I am happy to play you something."

You're blushing. -- Um. Lies? -- Just keep telling yourself that.

"Right, you uh, you wanted to know things about me?" He said, standing up a little straighter. "Well, yes, I play guitar, and viola, and the harp, and the piano... the list is lengthy, but yes, we musicians have some excellent handiwork. I even write my own stuff, like your boyfriend. I sing, I dance, I have three brothers who I adore, I've never had much luck in love but I consider myself a professional loverboy regardless." He bowed at the waist, keeping his eyes on Max. "And I have to say, I do have a soft spot for blue eyes."

Zack had arrived, and gave Leo a death glare just as he was getting off the bed. Then, just like André before, all of Zack's people entered, and put all of his things away. "Must be nice to have people to do stuff for you." Leo jokingly whispered to André.

    André nodded. "Oui, it is."

After Zack's people left, he turned his attention to André and Leo, and smiled. Well, mostly Andre. He didn't even seem to notice that Leo was even present. "Hey, André! How fun, we're going to be roommates this year! Wasn't exactly thrilled when I found out but eh, who cares?"

André wasn't sure whether or not to be offended by that comment or not, but he brushed it aside.

"Haven't heard from you since Paris in February, did you not get my texts?"

"Mon ami, you know I was busy." André replied. "Being a Movie Star and a student takes so much time out of your day!" He wasn't sure that Zack heard that, or even if he even for the answer though. He was busy babbling away and putting his things away. Zack had just as many beauty products as André himself did. Getting ready in the morning was definitely going to be interesting.

"I was going to call you earlier, but figured it would be rude to potentially wake you up in case you were resting. whose idea was it anyway to have these obligatory shenanigans at this ungodly hour?" André's expression was neutral, but Leo laughed out loud at the joke. It didn't really take much to make Leo laugh. Although, André guessed he was sick of being the third wheel, and wanted to make his presence known.

After that, Zack finally acknowledged Leo's presence in the room. "I guess it would be rude of me not to introduce myself. Hey, I'm Zackary. Son of Nyx and Astraeos. Crusader of the night, embodiment of the stars, yadda yadda yadda, all that stuff".

Leo smiled and shook his hand vigorously. "Leo Silverstone, God of the Sun." He replied. "I can't believe we haven't talked much until now. We're like the Sun and Nighttime go together. Well... They don't go together but... Well, you get what I mean. We're like the Princess Celestia and Princess Luna of this school!"

Now it was André's turn to giggle. He always enjoyed Leo's enthusiasm. "I invited him over. Unfortunately, he does not have a roommate this year. I cannot leave a friend all alone!"

"Hey! didn't you and André do a movie together? The one wear André was a Fairy Prince, and you were some evil wizard bent on taking over the Fairy Kingdom? Oh, if only I could remember what that movie was called..."

André slapped his face with the palm of his hand in embarrassment. "I thought I told you not to talk about that..."

    "Whaaat? It wasn't that bad..."

"It was terrible. That director did not know what he was doing. I have made many better movies since then."

"Well, I thought it was a cute movie. I certainly loved it when I was younger. Now, if only I could remember the title..." Leo snapped his fingers trying to think of the title, but nothing was coming.

Personification of a Unicorn; Fourth Year

"I... I'm sorry," Lucas said, softly, taking a step closer to Max. "I know I shouldn't, shouldn't walk through memories, but it's hard not to when someone opens up to me like this..."

Max tilted his head. Walk through memories? What?

"He was really cute, seems really friendly too. I understand why you liked him." Lucas continued. He took Max's hand, his expression kind and understanding. Max gazed into his lovely emerald eyes. "I'm so sorry your time with him was cut short. I can understand, I've had people taken from me too"

Max nodded. He was amazed that he somehow knew what Robbie was like, without him saying much. Must be a God or a Demigod thing. Oh, that's what that means... One would probably be offended if someone poked into their thoughts without permission, but Max strangely wasn't. It was nice to have others just get it without him having to say word.

Lucas stepped back, and looked away. "If you don't want me to play while you're here, I understand. I know how memories work, I don't want to bring up any bad ones." He gave a small chuckle, looking back at Max. "But if you'd like, I am happy to play you something."

Max noticed Lucas was blushing, and grinned. "Oh, you don't have to sneak around to play guitar on my account." Max chuckled. "My memories with Robbie were good ones. The hard part is the fact that he's dead... I'll be fine."

I sing, I dance, I have three brothers who I adore, I've never had much luck in love but I consider myself a professional loverboy regardless." He bowed at the waist, his eyes were still on Max. "And I have to say, I do have a soft spot for blue eyes."

"Wow, you do everything." Now it was Max's turn to blush. Not that one could tell with the unicorn hair on his face and body. It was so nice having a hot guy's undivided attention."Aw, how cute!" He cooed. "I'm an only child. I have cousins, but no brothers or sisters. Sometimes I wish I had siblings..." Max trailed off for a moment. While he did always want a younger sibling in house to care for, looking back on it, it was probably best that his parents didn't have more children. "Anyway, if you couldn't tell by all the art supplies, I'm an artist." Max's face brightened again, talking about his favorite subject. "I draw, paint, and also sew. I pretty much always have a sketchbook and a pencil with me! I'll show you my work some time." Just then, and idea popped into Max's head. "Very soon as a matter of fact."

Max then levitated the guitar into Lucas' hands, and his sketchbook and pencil into his own hands. "I have a feeling your luck in love is about to change. Like I said, I have a soft spot for musicians, and I would love it if you played me something." Max plopped onto the bed he had claimed, that didn't have the bluebirds sitting on it, shifted back into his human form, and opened the sketchbook to the first page. "You can stare at my blue eyes all you want!"

    Didyme Thatcher
Demi-Goddess of War and Destruction | Fourth Year
    Dormitories | Fourth Floor | Room 401

A small, relieved smile formed on the face of her roommate as she spotted Didyme, and Didyme herself couldn't help but grin at that. She noted to herself that she was probably expecting one of the other students, one of the more prim and proper ones, possibly as a poor attempt to settle Jessie's rough nature and quash those lingering rumours. Truthfully, Didyme was quite relieved at who her roomie was too. She was not sure if she could've handled someone else partnering with her. It was bad enough having that Demi-goddess of poetry in her first and second year who kept making snide comments about her being uncultured for not understanding the power of poetry. Needless to say, the two of them had not walked away as friends. Thankfully there was no such animosity between Didyme and Jessie. Having met officially the year prior, when the latter was trying out for one of the sports clubs, and Didyme had been one of the screeners. Since then they had developed a fast friendship, bonding over their mutual likes and dislikes.

From her position on her own bed, Didyme watched as her roommate hung posters up on her side of the room, perhaps wondering if she should've hung hers up too rather than leaving them for the time being. As she started putting other items away, she retrieved the rest of the cans of Red Bull and handed them to Didyme with a grin.

"These are for you, D. Everyone knows you chug 'em like fucking water, like a badass." She remarked, earning a approving nod from Didyme. As she went about putting the last of her items away, Didyme cracked open one of the cans and began sipping at it. She placed it on her bedside table for a moment, before leaning over her bed to shove the remaining cans under there along with her now empty suitcases, and two posters.

When she sat back up, Jessie had changed into her nightware, and was staring at her with a smirk.

"So, let's practice?" She offered. "Registration was a fucking pain in the ass."

Didyme nodded her head swiftly, and jumped up from the bed with a sudden surge of eagerness. "God, don't I know it." She said with a laugh, giving herself time to stretch before charging into any battle with Jessie. "I swear they do it on purpose, you know, just to piss us off."

With a shake of her head, she straightened, and got into a stance ready to spar with her roomate. "You ready?" She questioned, tilting her head in a challenging manner. "You're about to have your butt handed to you by a girl in breakfast pyjamas."

Nani took the stairs, bopping along to whatever Pandora station was on. Some peppy poppy jam, perfect for her return to Amrita. She took the stairs solely so she had more time to enjoy her music, and being a God gave her the strength she needed to carry the last of her things. She had taken the left bed, as usual, the right ones always seemed a tad too fluffy for her tastes. That was alright, her roommates always seemed to be okay with it too. She got up to her room, opened the door, set her things down before twirling around and flopping onto her bed in a fit of giggles. Today had been awesome! She had gotten here bright and early, passed the registration test with flying colors, and completed her pre-year rituals.

The headphones came out of her phone, and an aux cord took its place, a personal favorite of hers filling the room. Nice, bright, and dance-able. (Though, maybe the lyrics didn't match the mood, but...)

Within a few moments, various plants were on the desk, on the headboard, as well as hanging from some stick-on hooks on the wall. Pots were set at the foot of the bed, bowls laid on the desk, all filled with clear clean water. Her guitar was already set up next to the large bots, her ukulele happily on the desk. She was still putting up posters when she realized... she hadn't look at any of the papers. She jumped off the bed, and found the papers scattered on the desk. Who is my roommate, anyway? She scanned over the papers, until...

"Eeeeek!!" Nani squealed excitedly, clutching the papers to her chest as she jumped up and down like... well, an excited schoolgirl. "Oh my glub, oh my glub, it's her! We're gonna be roommates!!" She glanced at the door, dark eyes wide with anticipation. Any moment, a certain cheerful girl, one from islands across the sea, would come through that door. Any. Moment.

I just hope she doesn't mind all the water nearby...

"Wow, you do everything," Max said. Lucas bowed his head humbly. God, he wished he could stop blushing, or at least that he could know he was blushing back... "Aw, how cute!" Max cooed. Hallelujah, shift to my brothers, thank you... "I'm an only child. I have cousins, but no brothers or sisters. Sometimes I wish I had siblings..." Max trailed off for a moment. Lucas refrained from walking through memories, but he could see sparks of pain, possibly defining memories. Not a blink memory, but a longer one... Max eventually continued, his face brightening again. "Anyway, if you couldn't tell by all the art supplies, I'm an artist. I draw, paint, and also sew. I pretty much always have a sketchbook and a pencil with me! I'll show you my work some time." Lucas watched as a thought crossed Max's mind. "Very soon as a matter of fact." Oh no.

Lucas gasped in a panic as he watched Max lift his guitar off its stand, and instinctively reached his arms out to grab it. Max grabbed his sketchbook, and plopped onto the unclaimed bed. "I have a feeling your luck in love is about to change,"he said, "Like I said, I have a soft spot for musicians, and I would love it if you played me something." The purple fur turned back to pretty and... rosey skin, was he blushing too? And oh, oh God, those beautiful blue eyes... "You can stare at my blue eyes all you want!"

Lucas stammered something incomprehensible, before taking a deep breath and slowly sitting on the bed across from Max. He kept his emerald eyes locked on Max's as he began to sing, his voice smooth and melodic, filling the room with resonance.

"There was a time when I was alone, nowhere to go and no place to call home. My only friend was the man in the moon and even sometimes he would go away, too." Deep breath. His fingertips rested peacefully between the frets, calloused fingers ready to grace steel strings as soon as he parted his lips. "Then one night, as I closed my eyes, I saw a shadow flying high. He came to me with the sweetest smile, told me he wanted to talk for awhile, he said, 'Peter Pan. That's what they call me.'"

"I promise that you'll never be lonely.' And ever since that day..."

His eyes were locked onto Max's, his expression soft, warm, nigh loving. Lucas got lost in the music, his voice a dance of sound and his body the stage. Was he being a bit of a showoff? Yes. Could he afford to be a showoff? Also yes. "I am a lost boy from Neverland, usually hanging out with Peter Pan, and when we're bored we play in the woods, always on the run from Captain Hook. 'Run, run, lost boy,' they say to me, 'Away from all of reality.' Neverland is home to lost boys like me, and lost boys like me are free."

"Neverland is home to lost boys like me, and lost boys like me are free."

Don't fall in love with him, don't fall in love with him, don't fall in love with..... dammit.

"He sprinkled me in pixie dust and told me to believe, believe in him and believe in me.
Together we will fly away in a cloud of green to your beautiful destiny.
As we soared above the town that never loved me, I realized I finally had a family.
Soon enough we reached Neverland, peacefully my feet hit the sand.
    And ever since that day..."

"I am a lost boy from Neverland, usually hanging out with Peter Pan.
And when we're bored we play in the woods, always on the run from Captain Hook.
'Run, run, lost boy,' they say to me, 'Away from all of reality.'
Neverland is home to lost boys like me, and lost boys like me are free."

"Neverland is home to lost boys like me, and lost boys like me are free."

Lucas leaned back and closed his eyes, though his fingers never wavered from their perfect places.

"Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Wendy Darling, even Captain Hook, you are my perfect story book.
Neverland, I love you so, you are now my home sweet home, forever a lost boy at last.
And for always I will say..."

Deep breath. He set his guitar to the side as he sat up, pushing himself forward off the bed and onto his knees, landing just in front of Max. Lucas put his hands on Max's knees, looking up into his crystal blue eyes. His voice was soft and sincere, piercing through the silence of the room.

"Neverland is home to lost boys like me,
And lost boys like me are free."

Katastrophea of The Tower (Masquerading as the God of Catastrophe)
    Dormitories | Fourth Floor | Room 402

His roommate approaching made his stomach feel less full, he really didn't want to be accused of killing his roommate if they did decide to search the dorms. He sighed, watching as the door handle slowly spun and gave way to a rather fetching young boy. Nicolas gave a rather startled sounding 'oh my god', and turned his eyes on Jax. The boy seemed rather nervous and Jax couldn't exactly be sure why, he decided to take a quick sniff of the air around the boy and smelt...

    ... Nothing?

Um. What? Even if the boy was a personification he should be able to detect that, why did he smell like nothing? Jax didn't want to give away his own confusion at this point and glanced at the boy, although he was flustered he had not forgotten his manners.

"I'm going to assume you're Jacques?" The boy asked, looking at him in almost the same vein the Jax was looking at him. He wondered if the boy was maybe a Katastrophea, he had never been around his breatheren but perhaps that was why he could not detect him. The arcana fluttered inside him, it seemed drawn to the boy in a different kind of way --- not the 'I want to devour you like a hot turkey sandwich' kind of way, but almost in a familiar family like sort of way. He knew he couldn't just come out and ask, that would certainly rat him out for sure. He wondered if the gods were super cocky about their domains? Maybe he could get away with asking for the boy's domain and attempt to tell if he was lying. The boy finally stood up before Jax really had time to answer his question, sticking out his hand of a handshake.

"I'm Nicolas. Just call me Nico, everyone else does and it's a hellova lot faster." He seemed confident, and Jax stuck out his hand in response.

"Jacques, but, uh. Call me Jax. My name is a little on the old-timey and lame end of things." He laughed to himself and then looked at Nico, he still couldn't smell a hint of god, or the weaker scent of a demi-god on him --- even with him this close. He certainly wasn't a personification either, they always smelt like animals. He had never met a human, but his arcana seemed to know something about Nico that he did not. It was almost as if they shared an unspoken bond already.

"So... uh. What's your speciality? I mean like, what sorta thing do you rule over?" He hoped that wasn't too forceful and weird, he didn't wanna come right out and say 'so... did you have to eat your dad too?'.

((OOC: For those playing Katastrophea, I feel like it's worth mentioning at this point that they can sniff out gods, demi-gods, personifications, and even humans. However, they are unable to smell fellow Katastrophea just like Jax here. However, they do feel a sort of natural pull to their own kind.))

    Kasumi Hayashi
Personification of a Kitsune; Fourth Year
Fourth Floor Dormitories, Room 403, about 8:05 PM

Kasumi found herself in a hurry to get to her dorm room. She got held up arguing with someone that pushed someone down just for 'getting in his way' as he put it, and ended up going though registration later than she wanted. Taking the elevator instead of the stairs, Kasumi took the time to think about what she had to look forward to. What was the year going to be like, would she have a roommate this year, and if so then who would they be and would she get along with them? She's been fine with her roommates so far, even the one she had back in year one, despite her having never seen someone with fox ears and tails like Kasumi, and she hoped this year would be no different, especially since it would be her last one here. She also looked forward to seeing the friends she already had from previous years like Andre, Max, Leo, and a certain other.

It wasn't until she had found the door to her room that Kasumi stopped and realized that she didn't even know her roommate's name yet. Being in such a hurry, she didn't stop to look at the papers she was given, and she was about to do just that when she started hearing something, causing her ears to twitch and shift side to side a little. It didn't take her long to figure out that it was a song, and it was coming from behind the door in front of her. Listening to it more, Kasumi realized that she knew this song, and there was only one person she knew that listened to it.

"No way!" She said to herself with a mix of disbelief and hope in her voice. "Could it be her?!"

Eager to find out if it was indeed who she thought it was, Kasumi quickly unlocked the door and entered the room. While she brought her bags and such into the room with her hands, one of her nine tails closed the door. She then turned to the door briefly so she could lock it, and turned back around to see...

"Nani-chan!" Kasumi exclaimed in excitement as she rushed forward and threw her arms around her best friend, Nani Mahelo'a. "I can't believe it, they roomed us up together! This year just got so much better! I'm the happiest fox in the world right now!"

As she said this, Kasumi's tails all stood straight up and were lightly waving back and forth as if sharing in her excitement. "That reminds me, check it out! I got my last tail over break! I am now a full-fledged Ninetails!" Kasumi told Nani with pride in her voice.

After some time, Kasumi calmed down enough to start unpacking, she placed a Japanese style paper lantern on the corner of her desk and hung another one over the headboard. Even though there was no need to, Kasumi went ahead and lit the lanterns to give the room a sort of fire vs water theme alongside Nani's water-filled pots and bowls. She also placed a small container with a bonsai tree inside on her desk across from the lantern, and her laptop in front of the chair. Finally, she had a set of small red wooden beams that when put together behind the desk formed a decorative torii gate.

"Don't worry about the lanterns, the flames won't burn anything unless I tell them to." Kasumi told Nani cheerfully. Though she still had some posters to hang up, she decided to get on that later as she got on her bed and sat on it as if it were one of the zabutons placed on the floor back home with her on her knees and one hand atop the other on her lap. "Well, tell me how your break was! Hope I'm still your favorite fox!"

    Orion
    2nd Year
    Personification of a Siren
    Dorms | Second Floor | Room 201 (8:05pm-ish)

Orion slips into her room, letting out a soft sigh of relief as the door closes behind her. Finally, after a day that was far too long, she is alone. Oh so blissfuly alone. The registrations had been a probably-unnecessarily lengthy process, and spending so long out in the open, surrounded by impatient people, had drained her. Dealing with people had never been her strong suit. Shaking her head, she unpacks her things, arranging them in small, perfect piles within the wardrobe. There’s no real reason for her to do it, especially considering that she knows they’ll just get messed up again the instant she starts flipping through them later, but there’s something oddly comforting about the entire process.

When that’s finished, she moves onto the next step of her unpacking - the one that’s a little more unusual.

Singing softly to herself, she reaches into her suitcase and pulls out a small case, filled with shells, pebbles, and coloured marbles. The song she sings has no lyrics - the songs of the sirens never do. Their magic and their beauty lie only in their entrancing melody. Carefully, she begins to place them on the floor, drawing a straight line directly through the middle of the room. After all, it wouldn’t be good to intrude on her roommate’s space with her own eccentricities.

With her ‘canvas’ created and the notes of her song floating through the air of the room, she starts to arrange her trinkets in intricate patterns on the floor, leaving a single path clear so that she’d be able to move around easily in the future.

    Virgil Isaacs
Katastrophea of the Devil / God of the Underworld; Third Year
Third Floor Dormitories, Room 302, about 8:05 PM

"Damn her..." Virgil muttered under his breath as he walked up the stairs. As much as he hated the extra legwork involved in doing so, especially lugging around a suitcase, he hated the person he just watched enter the elevator even more. Someone got in his way during the registration, so he decided to push them aside. This grabbed the ire of some girl that wound up slapping him across the face after he called her a freak. Like he could think of anything else to call her when she's parading around with those ears and tails, not to mention those claw-like nails that she could've gashed his face with, or worse, could've taken out one of his eyes.

Then again, Virgil didn't notice the crowd giving the girl any odd looks, he also saw plenty of other people with animal like features around, and they, including the girl, smelled differently from what Virgil had come to associate with humans after being possessed by the Devil Arcana, so perhaps a fox girl wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Also, considering what Virgil himself is capable of and what he's been through, nothing should surprise him anymore. Regardless, that girl had earned his hatred, and he wanted nothing more than to make her pay for the humiliation she put him through, both then and now that he's off to his dorm room with a large red mark on his cheek for all to see. Unfortunately, there was nothing he could do to her about it, there were too many witnesses at the registration that could point him out as a potential suspect if anything happened to her.

Having killed countless people throughout America as what they would go on to call "The Black Devil Murderer", he knew better than to let that happen. The best ways to not get caught was to always be on the road so none of the locals, law enforcement or otherwise, can pick up his trail, and make sure no one can associate him with his targets, even a seemingly random chance encounter in public can give the police potential witnesses for if the person that crossed him in any way was either killed or went missing afterwards.

However, being in this school would force Virgil to forsake his two golden rules. He can't travel far, and no matter where he is there will always be a witness. Meaning anyone he would decide to kill here would indeed have to be picked at random, someone he isn't associated with in any way. Normally, he wouldn't go through that kind of trouble, or have to force himself to stay in one place long term, all the way in Greece no less, but he needed to be here to hunt down a special kind of pray. He was fine for now from a recent kill, but sooner or later he would have to kill again.

He would have to feed again.

Ultimately, Virgil decided that he would work out the many disadvantages he had here later, right now he needed to get settled in and hope his roommate was someone he could at least tolerate, otherwise this was going to be an even bigger Hell for him than the actual Hell that he's sent many people into.

Once he reached his room, he opened the door and entered to see that his roommate got to the room before him. Not in the most talkative mood, Virgil simply said, "Hey," as he placed his suitcase on the bed and opened it. The clothes inside were all stolen, but he wasn't about to tell his roommate that, or anyone else for that matter. Instead of taking the clothes out himself, Virgil merely sat down on the bed next to the suitcase and pulled out the copy of Dante's Divine Comedy he keeps with him at all times. As he did this, black snake-like creatures emerged from the dorm room floor near Virgil's feet and started pulling his clothes out and laying them down neatly at the foot of the bed. That was until one of the serpents, acting on it's own will at this point, turned towards the pillow, which told Virgil that it found something.

"What is it?" Virgil asked the serpent out loud as he pulled his face away from his book and stood up from the bed. The snakes he summoned had the Devil Arcana's intelligence within them, so he had no problems communicating with them, and they were useful in giving him an extra pair of eyes when he needed them.

As if responding to his question, the snake swiftly lunged underneath his pillow as if striking prey and pulled something out. At first Virgil thought it was a spider, but then upon closer inspection quickly realized it was fake.

"Looks like someone left one of their little toys under this pillow, I'd go so far as to assume it was deliberate." Virgil said out loud before glaring at his roommate as if to quietly say 'I know it was you' before asking him rhetorically in a passive aggressive tone, "You wouldn't happen to know who that was, would you?"

    Third Year
    God of Chaos
    Dorms | Third Floor | Room 302

Lex started to empty the suitcase; more clothes, some books and supplies, a small box of accessories. He set everything but the clothes on his desk, trying to decide where to set his accessory box so he had easy access to it, but that it also wasn't in the way. It shouldn’t be a hard decision, but he moved it several times the previous year.

Soon heard his roommate come in behind him. He looked over his shoulder and returned Virgil's simple greeting, “Hey.”

He watched a moment as his roommate apparently used his powers to unpack, creating some sort of dark snakes to do the work. That was kind of neat. Not as neat as some of the powers he'd seen here, but still pretty neat. He turned back, opening the top desk drawer to stow and arrange his supplies. . . until he heard him asking about the spider. Lex turned to look again with a slight grin. Virgil was glaring at him and making accusations. Lex's smile widened and he played innocent, poorly, as he wasn't really trying, “I have no idea what you're talking about.”

Lex stepped forward, “Aw, don't tell me you're one of those stuck-up gods who's opposed to a little fun?” He crouched down looking at the snake-things, “I mean just look at your little pets. It doesn't get a lot more fun then that. Ever set them loose just to see what happens?” He wasn't sure if these things counted as snakes enough for him to communicate with, but he tired it anyways, “How you guys doing?”

He straightened back up, reaching out and tapping the fake spider, letting it shift into something random of it's own accord. He didn't really care what, he just wanted to have some fun, and hopefully lighten the mood a little. Which in this case happened to be a small unlit scented candle. Well that was kind of cute, and the faint scent was fairly pleasant. She smiled at Virgil, “Is that better?”

"Leo Silverstone, God of the Sun. I can't believe we haven't talked much until now. We're like the Sun and Nighttime go together. Well... They don't go together but... Well, you get what I mean. We're like the Princess Celestia and Princess Luna of this school!", the enthusiastic guy said after Zack's introduction.

"mmh, cute." Zack said. People had said quite the imaginative compliments to him in the past, but he was pretty sure he had never been compared to a princess. It was after this somewhat odd sentence Zack suddenly remembered that he had actually met this guy before. If he was not mistaken, the guy was in the same year as himself. He shook his head and went to the bathroom to get a glass of water. Though he normally didn't get tired or disoriented, one tended to lose tracks on the people one met during ones travels, and Zack met a lot of people through his work, and it wasn't always easy to remember every face he came across.

"I invited him over. Unfortunately, he does not have a roommate this year. I cannot leave a friend all alone!", Andre said with a giggle, smiling his usual charming smile. "Hey, don't worry about it. You can have Andre if you'd like!" Zack jokingly said, flashing his own godly smile of ultimate male perfection.

"Hey! didn't you and André do a movie together? The one wear André was a Fairy Prince, and you were some evil wizard bent on taking over the Fairy Kingdom? Oh, if only I could remember what that movie was called..." Leo then started reminiscing, instantly wiping off Andre and Zacks slightly overconfident smiles. Zack could not help but shudder instinctivly at the almost repressed memory of his try at acting together with Andre way back in the day. "I thought I told you not to talk about that...", Andre said while holding his hand over his face, obviously experiencing the same mental trauma as Zack was currently experiencing.

"Whaaat? It wasn't that bad...", Leo said, trying to lift the sudden embarrassing atmosphere of the room. It was not working.

"It was terrible. That director did not know what he was doing. I have made many better movies since then.", Andre then said. Zack was glaring at him, but he didn't see it. That movie was the movie which kickstarted Andres career, while Zack was left behind, only because he didn't have influential parents on the field of acting such as Andre had. Granted, Zack's acting wasn't exactly top notch either, but Zack never accepted that part of himself. Though they were on friendly terms, and the fact that Zack got his modelling career going and picked the longer straw when he realized he was a literal God, Zack had always held a small grudge regarding that one fateful movie. He shook his head again to remove the impure thoughts as he continued.

"Not to mention the outfits. Cheesier outfits could not have been made even if they tried, which i now am pretty sure they actually did...". He shrugged again. He had now finished unpacking his stuff, and was looking for a shed or something where he could put his bags and suitcases. having no such luck, he conjured a shadow portal on one of the walls, which he threw his bags into. If he got this space/Time thing down right, they should end up wherever he envisioned in his head, this example being his apartment in New York.

"Well, I thought it was a cute movie. I certainly loved it when I was younger. Now, if only I could remember the title..." Leo snapped his fingers as Zack was closing the portal. He was obviously thinking hard and long for the name, which he ended up not remembering. Zack remembered though, and he could see on Andres face that he remembered it too. Zack quickly sent Andre a "Don't you even dare" stare, which he seemed to pick up on, giving Zack a nod in return. Never again would anyone speak out the words "To a Foreign Land". He also remembered having read somewhere that if you did say the words "To a Foreign Land" three times in front of a mirror, something horrible would happen to your plushies. It was just that bad a movie.

Though rather pleasant, but also highly uncomfortable at the same time, Zack decided to break this silence. "Well, i am all unpacked now. What time is it? Late? Eh, late enough. I wonder if Jessie is still up. If I remember correctly, she lives on this floor with us somewhere." Zack was babbeling again. It was needed. Anything to draw attention away from the horrible shipwreck that was his acting past. He took Andres previous spot in front of the mirror as he fiddled with his phone and found her number. He held the phone up to his ear while eyeing himself in the mirror, striking a few subtle, yet powerful poses. His constant smokey aura really made him look intimidating sometimes, especially if he wore long-sleeved black sweaters. No such luck today though. After a small eternity, the phone sent him directly to voice mail. After the beep, he decided to leave a message before leaving.

"Hey gurl! You settled in yet? Thought i'd drop by and help you out. Be over in a bit. Lova ya, bye!". After hanging up, he put his phone away in his pocket before turning to the other two. "I'm gonna head out. It's getting late, and i get restless in here. Andre, I'll see you when i get back." He then turned to Leo." Craig, it was nice meeting you again. Sorry about the little brainfart. Can't remember al the faces all the time.". He flashed leo a friendly fingergun before exiting the room. Now, if he remembered correctly, Jessies room should be over here....

  20. Monster Guy

    Monster Guy Fairy Tale Man

    Max Hudson
Personification of a Unicorn; Fourth Year
    Fourth Floor Dormitories

As Lucas began to play, Max couldn't help smiling. It was so nice having a guy play music for him again. He could just sit there and listen to him sing all night. Except, he knew he had a sketch to work on. He looked down at his sketchbook, and starting sketching. He found himself looking up to stare at the guy playing a sweet song about Peter Pan. Gazing lovingly into his green eyes. Then he had to remind himself to stop drooling, and get back to the sketch.

The sketch itself was coming together nicely. Max had drawn Robbie while he was playing guitar countless times before, so getting the pose right wasn't too hard. It helped that his model didn't move around too much. The only hard part was getting the facial expression just right. A person's expression changes a lot while they're playing so getting the right one that conveyed the feeling he wanted often proved a challenge. It was only a rough sketch though, so it could still be fixed later.

Then came the end of the song. Lucas set his guitar to the side, got off the bed, and onto his knees, sitting in front of Max. Lucas put his hands on Max's knees, looking up into his blue eyes. Max had wanted to swoon. Robbie had done similar gestures when he serenaded him too. It was so romantic.

"Neverland is home to lost boys like me,
And lost boys like me are free."

Max grinned, sighed, and applauded. "That was amazing! You have a beautiful voice." Once Lucas got up, Max stood up, and showed him the sketch he had been working on this entire time. "So, what do you think? It's still only a rough sketch, but I think it came out pretty good. I'll make this pretty, and eventually put onto canvas, and paint it." With his free hand, Max put his arms around Lucas' shoulders. "You know, I kind of wish we had met each other sooner, but I'm glad we're getting to know each other now. It's gonna be a great year! I suspect you're going to be appearing a lot in my sketchbook. I think I just found my new muse!"

Oh gosh, am I falling for my roommate? I think so.

(OOC: André and Leo's part will come later. Once I decide what to do with them.)
