An Awful First Sprite

Oh dear... This is shocking, I know. I need serious help improving this sprite. It is *meant* to be a baby of Miltank and Tauros, but looks nothing like either. please help!

It's not that bad, but it certainly needs improvement.

A word of advice is to not go directly into making your own Sprites when you're just starting out. Try Re-vamps, Re-colors, and Mixes so you get to know Sprites, how they work, and how they're shaded. Then, once you think you're ready, you should be able to tackle making your own Sprites with relative ease.

Good advice that is. Try a few revamps or edits and see how you are with those. Theyre so much easyer to do than scatch sprites.
And with scratches, sketch your idea down on paper a few times before you sprite it. Pencils arent as hard to work with as pencils.

Off Topic:You shouldn't title it saying how awful your first sprite is. You would make me people not even read it.
On Topic: Your sprite looks good. The shading looks o...kay, but you can use some work.

Anyway, thanks for the help. About the title, I wont do it next time. I would have done a revamp, recolour etc. but I need this sprite for a Fakemon contest on another forum.
