Hey there guys i only just got animal crossing on the gamecube today and i like it so i was wondering is there any difference apart from being able to go on the internet with the DS version.
What im basically asking is: Is it any better than the GC version apart from the internet factor?

It's pretty much the same, minus a couple of features (can't list them all, I know mini-jobs for townspeople is one, and I'm sure there are more), plus wi-fi and hairstyles.

<-- Made of awesome.
Wild World has somewhat of an update in graphics (in my opinion). The touch screen has been integrated into many features, and also makes letter writing a breeze. Also, the top screen of the Nintendo DS is used for a view of the sky, for items and special events and characters and stuff.

Here's a handy link
I found that lists some differences between the two games...

Yes, the graphics have changed, but I'd say they're worse. The DS version suffers from a low resolution, even blockier objects and duller colour.

Not really...I would say they're about equal. Which one you prefer depends on what features you like though.

I read on gamefaqs there are some changes such as what the neighbors say,in ds version, they have more variety of what they say, also,I read on the rumors/myths faq that there are some rumors that are real in the gc version but not on the ds version, also, reseti(That angry mole who comes when you turn off the game without saving) "threatens" to reset your game file on the gc version during the 7th time, but he really doesnt and fools you :p
