    Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
    Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
    Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.
  • Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.

    However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

    We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible

Is it like pokemon do I need like people's friend codes?

It gets bland quickly. I paid my mortgage, have 188,000 bells saved and have done plenty of fishing and bug catching. Is that all there is to Animal Crossing?

You only need to have people registered in your 3DS Friend List. When people visit you (or vice-versa), you can click on a green icon in the lower left of the touch screen and select to be best friends with that person and then whenever you guys are both playing New Leaf you can message each other. I wish the the list of people you message shows everyone on your friend list who has the game, when they were last online and didn't require you guys to have to meet up to enable the messaging though.

Do you have a lot of Publics Works Projects completed (or at least enough that you're satisfied)? Have you unlocked a lot of the shops in Main Street?

Today's literally day #3 for me. It's just kind of frustrating how AC New Leaf requires lots of hurry up and wait progress.

I kinda started over while I was away,And lost a bunch of Hard Work because my Save was corrupted. >.<' I'll post my Dream Villagers though. Dream Villagers: Curt,Anchovy,Alfonso,Antonio,Hampfrey,Lyman,Apollo,Graham,Dizzy,Rooney-Current Villagers: Willow,Patty,Rooney,Kevin,Marcel,Nan,Charlise.

Ugh, does anyone have turnip prices over 100 and would be willing to let me come and sell mine? My turnip prices haven't been above 100 all week, and I'm getting kinda desperate.

On another note an awesome reindeer moved into town today, his name is Erik. Got to say he's one of my favourite villagers so far.

Now that Victoria is gone I've got 9 villagers. The kind of villager I need now is a lazy one, since I don't have one in my town. I had Benjamin, but of course he's gone. I may have to sell my turnips since the price is probably going to be under 50 bells now. The inside of my house is going along nicely, the only rooms I'm going to redesign are the basement and main room. Something that suprised me a couple days ago was that I got 70000 points for my house by the HHA. Working on the house is my priority today so I'm ready to tackle it.

Do the 2 Day Method, TT 2 Days forward, talk to some villagers you like, and then TT 2 Days back, and most of the time, someone says they are going to leave in X many days. If you don't like them, TT them outta town. If you do like them, TT 1 day forward and convince them to stay and repeat until someone you hate leaves!

I'm rather burned out on NL (probably because of TT'ing ^^; ) so I'm going to take a break for a while. I plan on starting a new town on new year's day, and trying to play through the whole of 2014 in one town with no TT'ing. I'm thinking of naming my next town "Shiny" due to my love of shiny Pokemon. n_n

Plus I'll of probably got distracted from my town in October anyway once X/Y come out...

I'm also getting burnt out of ACNL too. I didn't even time travel, but most of the people I play with did and they don't play that much anymore. Oh well, I'll play the game here and there. It should get interesting around October/November but that's when new games release...

At least I can focus on Awakening more. :p

Exactly ^^

I TT, and I have been addicted for a few weeks, but now I am sorta bored. I hardly have any good Villagers (Apollo being the only decent one), no one EVER suggests new Projects, even though I always accept their requests and complete them, visit their houses and write them letters.

Basically, I get very bored, very quickly :(

Anyway, back to (The MUCH Better) Fire Emblem: Awakening...
