8. No General Discussion Threads

In order to maintain a larger variety of discussions, threads designed to discuss all aspects of a particular game are prohibited unless prior approval by a moderator. These threads limit the number of unique topics, such as ones regarding only the characters, levels, and storylines of games. For example, if someone made a "Mario Discussion Thread", topics such as "Favorite Mario Game" or "Super Mario Brothers 3" may not be created as the people would post in the general thread instead. I, for one, would rather see the unique topics instead of browsing through the general thread for the discussion I seek.
