It's like the previous Animal Crossing games, except portable and online
First of all this belongs to Nintendo Discussion.
Anyway there's a big variety of things to do,but it mostly relies on what type of gamer you are.If you want adventures and action it's a no no.But if you're more into the RPG/Simulation style then you'll like it.
Sims is a very common game around,I suppose you have played it at least once.I believe that if you enjoyed it by one tidbit you'll love AC:WW

There's a lot to do, but the question is "is it worth doing?"
It's mainly stuff like picking fruit, catching fish and bugs, selling what you own, buying stuff, paying off debts, etc.
Some people love it and never get bored of it, while some lose interest within a few days.

its fun, but only if you like games without a "fixed" storyline, with just running around, and creating your own goals and things to do. Like I just finished greating the whole landscape of the town with my favourite trees mixed in and looking good.
Things like filling up the museums fish, and stuff like that, are just little things you do to keep yourself amused.

It's just one of those games you can play on a Rainy Day, or when your bored of other games. There's always something to do.
I definately recommend this game to every DS owner. I was skeptical about it looking kiddy, but I got it and I find that I like the game alot. I'll probably end up getting the Nintendo Wii game as well in the future.

Lol, don't touch the damn thing. It's such a horrible game, I can't believe I wasted $70 on that peice of crap. Get a good game like Castlevania or something.

i bought it last week. I played for the first 10 - 30 mins or so.. and I WAS FREAKIN' BORED ALREADY...
Not only is your town puny, but everything is moved everywhere.
Eg) There is a TownHall, in which basically, everything happens. They put everything in the T.H. The dump, Post Office, Town Tune thing, etc;
Anyway, I pop in once everyday, for 3- 5 mins, to see who the new person is in town. THAT"S IT...
If you have the GCN version, and thought that was fun, [like i did] you'll be in for a big shock once you buy this one.
So in my opinion, this game has become one of those "OmGz! We LiK3 HaV3 2 G3T !t Ya'LL!" *cough* Just like Panic!..
So yes. Don't get it, buy something else, like.. a Hilary Duff movie/CD, or save up for a Wii, but don't get this game.

If you have Wi-fi get it. I got it with my DS for my birthday (well I didn't want it at first). It seemed boring to me at first but after a while it got fun. So get the game. Especially if you have Wi-fi.

Wi-Fi kinda sucks on ACWW becuase you need to exchange Friend Codes first in order to go to someones town (or vice versa)
