Animal Crossing WW: Flower Hybrids

This may be old news to many of you as I'm unsure if it's covered in any guides out there, but I've just recently found out you can create hybrid flowers by placing the same type of flowers with varying colors next to each other. I recently had a purple tulip pop up in my town near some other tulips, but I didn't realize what had happened. Today I found one of my favorite Animal Crossing sites had updated with a guide to making hybrids and I figured I'd share it with you guys. http://www.animalxing.com/hybrids.php

I had red and white tulips together along with red roses and got purple tulips and pink tulips. Still no blue roses yet. I get alot of flowers popping up from nowhere though. I haven't found a guide on that. Any help would be appreciated.

According to the link I provided in the first post, about 3-5 flowers randomly spawn in your town every day. It's not guaranteed that the flowers will grow next to your current ones.

i cant wait til i get the gold ones, i MUST have them, ive got blu and pink and orange, but i need those gold, i dont care bout the others, i just need gold flowers and gold watering can, Lily if you wanna know how to get blu flowers, i dunno, my friend planted em in my town, then they died after he dug em up

I got black roses by grouping two red roses and one white cosmos. Next to those were white tulips, sun cosmos, and white pansies. I think it's kinda random what pops up but the black roses sure are cool. I have pink roses, tulips and purple tulips so far.

go there, it has everything on AC and ACWW even how to get gold flowers. if you must know now though you get black roses, wait till they get brown then water em with the gold water can, i need that gold water can and its on my list of gold items to get next

Thanks fuzzyquillfish, I'll give it a try on the flowers. I've just been getting mine on a trial and error basis.
