Here are some: go find shells on the beach, dig up fossils and don't donate them, go to one of your friends towns or a wifi town and get some fruit you don't have which is native and plant some orchards or you can always fish, or last but not least catch bugs.

#1.Change clock to 1-1-2000
#2.Put around 50,000 bells in your account.
#3.Save, go back to your file.
#4.Change year to 2011. Save.
#5.Keep going forward 11 years and saving.
#6.When clock hits 2099, save, then go back to 2000.
#7.Repeat steps 3-6.

Your town will suffer, but town hall will keep giving you money.

catching and then selling fish is probably the best way of getting money a lot of fishes are quite valuable salmon and king salmon were common a few months ago and there a good way of getting quick cash dont bother to much with bugs as they dont tend to get you much cash also write letters with gifts attached for other people in town, and if you dont like what they send you back sell it! and dont forget to look in the recyle bin and lost and found!
