"Not sure I understand, here. Is it a legendary? And why exactly is it Ghost type? Also, since it's said to produce gems, shouldn't it be part rock type?"

idk if thats how you quote, not used to this forum yet.

Yes, i think it would make a good legendary with all the myths and stuff about Lynxs (sp?)

I went with ghost type because one i like ghosts and two they say they're very fast and hard to find so naitives called them spirits and stuff.

And about the rock type, i could see that, a ghost/rock would be kind of cool.

Pretty sure Shinx is a Lynx...
Shinx is based on a lion cub.

It doesn't exactly look like a lynx...

It's name seems to be a a portmanteau of the words shock or shine, and possibly Sphinx.
It's is possible though that it's name may come from Lynx though.
However it's not a Lynx itself.

Have we even covered all the animals commonly founded on a farm?

Goat, Turkey, Lama, Duck, Duck, Goose, Ox, Weisel, Bigfoot

Wait... how is Bigfoot "commonly found on a farm?"
Farfetch'd is a duck.
Buizel and Furret are somewhat based off weasels.

Mostly Furret.
This is a little off topic, but a betrayal Pokemon would be a good idea for a legendary. What kind of animal it would be I haven't got a clue, but it would probably be ghost/dark type.

Hmmm... Maybe some mythological animal. Maybe a Thestrel!
I would like to see a Pokemon based on The winged snake in Mayan myth

That would be cool, but I think a tiny bit of that might be in Rayquaza.

That would be cool. Also, there's a button next to posts that says, "Quote." If you click on it, you'll quote the post.

Eevee.

Rayquaza is more draconic than serpentine; the winged serpent is just that, more of a giant snake with feathers and/or wings. Google "Quetzalcoatl" to see what I mean.

I don't think we have a panther Pokemon yet, that could be cool.

And there's a bunch of dinosaur designs they could use- Brachiosaur, Stegosaur, Parasaur... probably quite a few more.

Echidnas and terrapins (despite similarities to turtles, they are in a different Class than them), I think. That would make a good Ground and Water Pokemon, respectively.

Blue Snover

Cold as ice
What about a Polar Bear?

That would make nice Ice Pokemon.

Sea Spider = Surskit

Surskit is a pond skimmer more so than it's a sea spider.

terrapins (despite similarities to turtles, they are in a different Class than them).

While this is true, you don't think that between the Squirtle line, the Turtwig line, Torkoal and Golem, they've realistically covered most of the possibilities for a turtle/tortoise/terrapin Pokémon?
