Well, I'd agree to the fact that Entei is not completely lion; moreso a Fu Dog or Shishi, but that's why I have a "(Partly)" there, as it seems to incorporate the lion at lest to some extent.

Though for reasons explained in the previous posts, I and most others still believe the Shinx line to be Lions more than anything else, so it remains there.

My previous ideas..

Spinda should evolve into a Giant Panda. Spinda is pretty awful right now as it is. We also don't have a giant panda yet. I think Spinda is a red panda. Snorlax is kinda a giant panda..but not really. We can call it Dizzily. And it shall be awesome.

I also had an idea for a Electric Cockatiel, since they have those Pikachu cheeks. Could be a two or three tier evolution even. We need more Electric birds. Shockatiel FTW

I know we have enough bugs but more unique insect/arachnids would be cool. Some ideas I had where Roach, Scarab, Stick-bug, Wood Louse (I think its a crustacean actually)/AKA pill bug, Centipede/Millipede, Tarantula (ariados is more a common spider), Ant (trapinch could get a split evo, but I was thinking something more like bug/fire or bug/ground and have a "queen" evolved form), Mosquito, Horsefly, earwig, Weevil, Bombardier beetle (really surprised they haven't done this yet), and Tick or flea. We have enough Moths/butterflies.

There are many prehistoric animals that would make good pokemon. Dinosaurs obviously are the most diverse, but would end up being rock since they are fossils. A Raptor or some kind of Therapod that was Dragon/Rock would be awesome. Tyranitar is more Godzilla based, Sceptile is a Gecko, and Rampardos is a Pachycephalosaurus..which isn't a therapod..so yeah it hasn't really been done yet.

Terror Birds are also really cool. A Bird of Paradise would be awesome. Cappibarra would be neat. Cassowary would be cool. Koala bear is needed. a regular panda and not a drunk one is needed..Maybe Spinda can evovle..cause it needs too. A wolverine would also be really neat.

No more fish.. we have enough.

Some new ones..

-The next inevitable Electric Rodent/Pikaclone should be a hamster or a gerbil. Maybe with a more "raichu-like-tough" evolution.
- Pachirisu should evolve into a Flying Squirrel. Electric/Flying obviously.
- I'd like a Cougar that could evolve into a bigger cat, like maybe a Jaguar or Panther.
- A Smilodon AKA Sabertooth Tiger, I know we have Raikou already, but thats up to debate. But an actual one that was Ice/Dark or Ice/Normal would be awesome.
-A Dark Hyena Pokemon.
- A Spider Monkey that evolves to a Chimp, that then evolves into a Gorilla. I know we have a Monkey (Aipom, Infernape) and a Gorillaish pokemon (Slaking), as well as a chimp(chimchar).
- A duck that evolves into a Swan makes sense.
-A Stork

I'll think of other stuff later.

They are. The name isn't everything. They have the mane. Entei is also a lion, clearly. Other than name (actually, Shinx=Shine+Sphinx), what gives you the misguided opinion that they aren't lions? They clearly are. We have four lion Pokemon.

I can agree that entei, although it's a big dog, does look like a lion. But not shinx-luxio-luxray. Those 3 pokémon always looked more like cats than lions to me. Lions have a big, bulky, angular nose while luxio and luxray's nose strike down and are rather small, like a nose of a big cat (lynx).
Besides, if you can't see that Shinx and Luxio both are almost exactly 1-on-1 copies of a lynx (cartoon versions of a lynx, that is) then you really need to see an eye-doctor. Their heads, including their manes, are exactly like that of a lynx.
As for luxray, I think he's an "exaggerated" version of a lynx, but he does look like a lion, yes.

...Lions are Cats.

...Not really... Looking at some Lynx pictures compared to Luxio, it doesn't really compare too well.
Sure it has hair sticking out, but so does the lion- and the Lynx's tufts seem to shoot down[1][2] more than anything else, while Luxio's and Luxray seem to shoot to the side, and towards the back.

And really- check out the head again. For one real major thing, Shinx, Luxio, and Luxray all share the Lion's signature big rounded ears, compared to the sharp, triangular ears of the Lynx.

As for luxray, I think he's an "exaggerated" version of a lynx. Maybe his mane look more lion-ish, his face is still clearly more lynx-ish, especially his eyes.
Luxray's eyes look like bloodshot circles. They don't look like the Lynx's at all...
Actually, that supports the Lion more- lions have circular pupils, not those sharp vertical ones that Lynx have.

Maybe a diatryma/terror bird as a fossil Pokemon... it can be another flying/ground type... What would be really nice is a cat Pokemon... something like a tiger...or a leopard, or something like that... or maybe a lizard... like a true lizard(not bipedal ones like sceptile etc)... do they have one thats a lizard?

I'll think of other stuff later.

Mightyena is a Dark type and a hyena. It actually looks lvery similar to the type of hyena it was based off of, but I can't recall what species it is.

Monkeys are inevitable and awesome, so its obvious we'll get some more. x3 Ice type Macaque would be awesome. http://www1.pictures.gi.zimbio.com/Japanese+Macaque+Monkeys+Relax+Hot+Springs+JLoDCv8qWdWl.jpg

I would love to see a fire type or dark type Aye-Aye. They're so cute in a creepy way. :D

Oh, whether you like it or not, we'll get more fish in the next generation. It's practically necessary. We could have a flounder http://www.taxidermy.net/reference/fish/flounder/art/Flounder-59-Fish.jpg or a barracuda http://www.divemagazine.co.uk/news/images/Barracuda2006SRogerson1.jpg, a dolphin (although it's a mammal) a whale shark http://www.whale-shark.org/images/whale_shark_research.jpg, goblin shark http://www.bethpage.ws/cb/kfasano/Goblin Shark 1.jpg, sturgeon http://rvt007a.com/JPG Files/sturgeon.jpg, or a paddlefish http://outdoornewsguy.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/paddlefish-2.jpg.

Trust me, there are literally a sea of unique fish Game Freak could use for a Pokemon.

Oh huh, I forgot about Mightyena. Maybe he could evolve into a more African like Hyena? like this http://www.kenyabeasts.org.uk/pics/hyenas1.jpg With more of a developed front end. He looks more Wolf like now.

Those Monkeys would be a great idea. We can always use Monkeys.

I'd just like if they made the fish a bit more useful is all. Stat wise I mean. They could also then represent different species.. Like maybe have Qwilfish evolve into a Lionfish, or Give Sharpedo a Hammerhead or Megalodon like evolution.
I like the Barracuda Idea though.

I think YOU'RE the one who needs to see an optometrist. Those three are clearly lions, and btw, LIONS ARE CATS. Lynxes don't have manes like a Luxio or Luxray, and Shinx is just a cub, so it doesn't have a mane YET. They are lions.
We definitely need a lynx Pokemon. Psychic/Dark, perhaps?

Truly Deceptive

It is I: ME!
[*]Lion - Entei (partly), Shinx, Luxio, Luxray

Dude, I don't disagree with Entei being a lion, but Shinx and evos are lynxes (cougar, panther, mountain lion, puma)

Edit: Anyways, there's the barnacle, the ant/fire ant (I can't believe no one thought of that yet!), the worm, the echidna, the koala, the dingo, the newt, the flounder, the falcon, and for fossils the seymouria, velociraptor (which were really incredibly small), and the archaeopteryx.

Entei is not a dog. I have no idea where you got that misconception from.
