Somebody a few posts back mentioned fireflies - we have those in the form of Volbeat & Illumise but I really think Nintendo/Game Freak missed a great opportunity there for a bug/fire type :(

A really cool bug type...Bombardier Beetle,perhaps?

Um... You know you could also post ideas/reason/examples/etc. to go along with your ideas... Like the one I made in the first post, explaining my idea, etc..

Oh, and something spring my mind. How about some sort of Seaweed Oriented Pokemon? Could make a good Grass/Water type I'd think, with moves like Ingrain, etc. Seems like a creative idea to me...

First off I would like to say to m190049 my Grandparents live in Saint James, NY, thought that was interesting.

I can think of a few critters that havent been made into pokemon.

Cockroach (would be awesome), Pumpkin for plant pokemon, Peacock, Goat, some other type of dinosaur like stegosaurus or a raptor, they've never made any Porcupine pokemon (only hedgehog),swordfish,swan,leech, and siamese fighting fish.

Oh, and they never made any Pyramid looking rock pokemon.

No armadillos yet.
Sure there is, Sandslash, an armadillo with spines instead of a bony plate.

Why are Psyduck and Golduck the only duck pokemon?
They both arent ducks, and there is a Duck Pokemon, Farfetch'd. Psyduck is a Platypus, and Golduck is created after the Japanese monster "Kappa" It says so on the original Golduck pokemon card.

i want to see them really play on the spider idea. i know they have spiders, but they need some tough ones. they should make a dark spider, and snake and those kinds of animals that scare people(i love dark type) and they should do something with chimps/apes/gorillas. i don't think they done that yet, other than primeape and chimchar

Yes, I agree, I think they should make more spider Pokemon.
They could make an evo of Ariados. (mabey a taranchila?)

Pegasus would be cool, but fire flying not so much. Maybe they could pull an empoleon and make it a random type liek fire/psychic or something that woodn't make it suck completely ;)
