I am not computer savvy in any way, hence why I have a question.

Is it possible to cycle through the pictures on an animated file in Microsoft Paint?

You could try Flash. Or Microsoft GIF animater. Those are the only ones i know, but i bet there are more.

The Infinite Fire
Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, which came with my XP, and possibly 95 (I forget) will do that for you. You could also open it up with Adobe Photoshop, where each frame is a seperate layer.
