I have one more nomination! I say it’s a good character. A character that’s been long hailed as great. Those kinds of characters are especially hailed as a savior to mankind. Mankind itself has begged for mercy and this character fills in that criteria. That’s why it should be included or else discrimination is involved. Discrimination is bad on mankind. Giraffes don’t discriminate other animals. Same with plants. Venus Flytraps are humble with mother nature. We of mankind walk on her creation and establish a mighty foundation on this planet. That kind of thing can’t be replicated anywhere else in this damn solar system of ours. That’s just not true. You don’t see Saturn’s moon Titan doing this. That would be impossible. Now if it accomplished this? That’s good for mankind. We then share with Titan on our ideals. That’s what makes things go so beautifully. It’s a wonderful thing to experience for one. You could experience anything out there but they don’t come close to this thing. The thing that gives mankind what it needs to thrive. I don’t expect any juggernauts to go and quickly push us this way but mankind as a whole outta put together their best effort to ensure we live healthily. And that’s what mankind great.

Alright, way too many nominations have been done (63), so I have to start the Face-Off very soon, with too many nominations in, making an effective and proper format for this Face-Off might be problematic. So the nomination time ends here.
Before I start the first round, I would just want to state that @Dragalge 's last nomination Corey hasn't been included, because Corey in the House is not an anime. Anime means Japanese animated shows, and Corey in the House doesn't fulfill that category.
So these are the total 63 characters nominated in this Face-Off:

34) Roy Mustang (FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood)

2) Characters in each group in the first round of this face-off will get to randomly face-off against each other in matchups. In the first 3 groups (A, B and C), where there are 11 characters in total, matchups with two characters facing-off will happen 4 times, while matchups with three characters facing-off will happen once. In the last three groups, D, E and F, there will be only 5 matchups with two characters facing-off.
4) Each and every character (in a group) in this round would overall get to face-off once. Matchups in this round would be decided via RNG.
5) In every matchup of the first round involving two characters facing off, both characters start with 0 points. The character to reach 12 points first wins the matchup. If you wish to vote for a character, add one point to his tally and give a + sign beside this tally. The format of the matchups where 3 characters face-off at once would be decided at due time.
6) The format of the second round and the subsequent rounds thereafter will be decided later on at due time.
Rules:
1) All SPPF General, Games and Face-Off rules apply.
2) You can vote in a particular face-off matchup once in every 8 hours.
3) If you were ninja'd by someone while voting, please make sure to correct your tally.
4) Intentionally posting incorrect tallies in a face-off matchup will disqualify you from the game.
5) Have fun.

So here's the first matchup of the first round, from Group A:
Edward Elric (FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood): 0/12
Common, you at least would have been better nominating Pikachu or any of the Pokegirls except Iris and the SM girls Lana and Mallow. This is just legitimate fodder.
