Nice to see Lucifer and Biscuit Hammer here, but I was lowkey hoping it'd be on Toonami instead of on Crunchyroll. Oh well.

Well here's a little something I'm really happy about: The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup's dub begins today and the cast is a real banger indeed, especially for the fact that we get to see some VA's return from the original Salami/Viz dub to voice some new characters which is pretty cool indeed.

The dub is done by Sound Cadence Studios as always.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is now on Netflix.

The dub is done by Salami Studios with their first anime dub for Netflix. Wendee Lee is voice director (Rick Zieff also helps out with a few episodes).

In addition SIDE UK is also one of the two additional recording studios (the other being Southern Sound Services) with both Samuel Barnett and Alec Newman reprising their roles from the game.

Originally planned to have come out next month, One Piece Red has now been pushed to November.
My brother says this is the second time it's been pushed back for the NA release. Wonder what the delay is, if there's just been some dubbing production complications or if because it's centered on music (in that Uta is super-duper amazing) that the dub actress is still recording or practicing. Was it ever announced who's voicing her in the dub? 'Cause like I still have Suzu's singing stuck in my head from Belle's dub, that actress was really good and a bright spot in an otherwise-mediocre film.

No announcements for Uta or any of the other new faces yet.

"It is my destiny."

In what might possibly be the worst piece of English dubbed news this week, Crunchyroll has just announced that Season 3 of Mob Psycho 100 will be moving over to their Texas studio and Kyle McCarley will not be returning to voice Mob.
Kyle's unionized now given his work with Netflix, and Crunchyroll isn't unionized, so contractually, he can't work on their dubs anymore.

But this is still your reminder to always pirate everything. Regardless of any recent change in name or change in *coughmonopolizingcough*--excuse me, management, the American anime industry's vitriolic attitude towards the fans hasn't changed. Kyle was at least kind enough to give an explanation on his YouTube channel compared to Crunchyroll's rather cold, sterile take.
