Such variety! Also, what do Volumes 1-4 of D/P Cover?
Volume 1: episodes 1-8 (8)
Volume 2: episodes 9-17 (9)
Volume 3: episodes 18-26 (9)
Volume 4: episodes 27-34 (8)
Considering the fact that DP is 52 episodes (well, most seasons are 52 episodes), it comes down to 6.5 volumes. So I guess they just put 1 more episodes per volume.
Now, the reason why I didn't bother getting the boxsets was because WalMart (of all places) didn't have it. Which strikes me as odd because they had both Battle Frontier boxsets and the Indigo League boxset (I
would buy it, but I'm saving up for something... bigger).
And the real kicker? The
real reason why I bothered with buying it in the first place? The fact is (and I'll be honest, I
still do so), dled the episodes when they first aired on CN. However, due to the fact that the dled episodes were from that "premiere", it missed a few segments (namely Paul's intro before the credits). So, I bought the first volume because of that. From there, I figured it would be pretty stupid to simply buy it for that reason, so I just continued from there.
Also, it turns out that the dled "Buizel Your Way Out of This" was recorded with a very annoying
bars as if the tracking was bad. So, I now have that one in good condition also.
Seeing as I've gotten this far, I plan on completing DP once it comes out on the 17th. From there, I plan on "purging" my comp of all episodes related to that season.
It's the first time I've done this, and frankly, it's a heck of a lot better than dling them (sure it costs more, but the quality and convenience is worth it).
Note: Pokemon Heroes was a really bad ebay buy. It's almost as if someone "made" the DVD themselves. Which I think is the case. I might try and rebuy it later once I get a credit card.
Sorry about the rant, I figured I should explain myself.
