Does anyone know whether we ever got the Japanese Voice Cast list for Team Plasma episodes? It just struck me that I think it should have been put on the Japanese TVTokyo site before the shenanigans happened. It'd be interesting to know whether N or Ghetsis were listed on there.

Hey, do you know how do you think strong are the Team Rocket trio if they're Pokémon Trainers?

They're decently strong if they're written competently. The problem is, as you can already tell, that they're written to whatever level the writers need them to be for that episode. If we were to be objective, through DP, they're about average trainers with high-end moments of being above-average. They were rarely portrayed to be crap unless they were jobbing to a new evolution or the cotd learning their lesson at the end.

Seems like a trivial thing, but how do Pokemon hear the commands of their trainers? Is it just really loud shouting?

I can sort of understand grounded battles but in aerial battles surely it would be hard to nigh impossible for Pokemon to hear commands.

It's just fiction. The same place where Ash picks up trees and jumps dozens of feet into the air. Where bubbles explode and people get attacked by Pokemon and don't die.

It's like how in movies some dude orders a battle command and apparently every soldier, even those in the very back, somehow hear him.

But at least in Pokémon, the 'will' of the trainer sometimes mentally transmits. I assume that has a longer range.

They still have them. Butch/Cassidy and Jessie/James have been arrested before but still have their Pokemon.

In Johto, Pikachu fought in 9 gym battles (actually only 8 since the second Whitney one wasn't at the gym), and in Kalos, Talonflame and its pre-evolved forms also fought in 9 gym battles.

Are these the two Pokémon tied for the most gym battles by one Pokémon in one region, or is there any other of Ash's Pokémon who is also tied with them with 9 in one region? (Or God forbid there is somehow a 10-battle Pokémon I forgot about)

I know it showed up in the dub. I also know another version of it plays when Ash is entering his home back in Pallet Town during the last episode of XYZ (also the english version, I don't know about the japanese)

I'm so sorry..I can't find it either. I agree with you that it's common, so it's even more frustrating to not be able to find its name. Now it's begun to frustrate me too lol. Unfortunately the only thing I came across in my research was your similar thread on Bulbagarden (Skullgarden lol)

I'll continue to do my best to research it and let you know if I find it.

In the meantime, could you please do your best to answer my question that is above yours? No one ever answered it lol, and I'm curious whether there are any Pokémon I missed.

So I did a search and got the same numbers you did. A few others came close with 8 but Pikachu and Talonflame are at the most with 9

Wow thanks! That is so awesome! Now hopefully people can stop complaining about how Ash's birds aren't treated properly. One of them is tied with PIKACHU for the most gym battles in one region!!

Now I'll just keep trying to find the name of that song....
