    Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
    Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future

  • Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.

    However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

    We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible

People have been asking for a second season of Fruits Basket since 2005 (before that, maybe?) with the whole 1000 paper crane wish thing, but with the way the anime ended, it would be pretty unlikely to add another season anyway since they altered the ending to make the series so short. It'd be a pretty long series due to the amount of story they'd have to cover, too.

I honestly cannot see this series ever getting even an OAV let alone another season.

Reposting to answer again, that you shouldn't really have high hopes for FB to have another season. Equally, I cannot see Ouran getting a new season either.

And yes, the series only covers 6 volumes of the Fruits Basket manga, however there are in total 23 volumes, not 26. :)

It would be nice to see Digimon 02 again. There was room for at least another story arc.

Daemon was still out there in that Dark Ocean. They never really defeated him.

Then there's the big shadow that rose from the ocean at the end of it's first appearance. The master of the Dark Ocean. There was a plot hole/tease we never saw play out.

Then of course there's all that nonsense that threw most American viewers for a loop, like Ryo from the Tamers season being from another universe, the 02 universe to be exact. All he got was a "Blink and you'll miss it" cameo in Ken's origin flashbacks. So much of that exists only in supplementary material that American kids would only know by reading online. Most people who watched Digimon back in it's heyday didn't even know what a WonderSwan was.

Tamers would've been good as a sequel, especially if it went along the lines of Digimon: Dimensions.

If anything, the latter would've been best to have been finished. But as for Daemon? Better to leave his *** thrown into a "dimension" he can't escape. Not like the kids were able to beat him, anyway. Even with Imperial Dramon.

True, but if the kids could be pulled into that world like the last two times, they might be forced to encounter him again. Plus, after the fight with Blackwargreymon, Agumon was never seen giving up the extra power he was given. Throw in Wargreymon and maybe Metalgarurumon, and we have could at least have another movie on our hands.

Call me crazy, but I'd like to see Neon Genesis Evangelion come back. I know the movie ended it well, but I'd really like to see more into Second Impact, maybe look a little more into Misato's past and the Ikaris' lives working with Evangelion. It probably wouldn't do as well as the original show, but I'd still like it. :3

I think it's best to leave Adventure to stay dead rather than have them revive it and screw it up even more like they did with 02. I agree with seeing those two again. In fact, I think it would be better for another season to deal with those two villains and have the whole season based on those two rather than bring back Adventure then screw it up with it trying to be like "Adventure". 02 pretty much screwed itself over to deserve/get a sequel. I wouldn't mind a season all about Ryo and his journey either; his journey looks pretty epic in the games.

I believe GW did get a HD remake in Japan a few years ago. It didn't really look that different to me.

I'll search it up but I don't think so. I think the only one that looks good from GW is Endless Waltz OVA but the series is awesome anyways.

Agreed. They should bring the games back so this time, everyone would get the chance to know it and play it. I would love to.

I did a quick search and it was Gundam Wing HD Remastered box sets I was thinking of. Is that what you meant, though? And Endless Waltz looked beautiful; too bad the whole TV series couldn't have looked like that.

Yeah but I think that isn't going to happen. However I would mind the same settings for another Digimon game in HD format. There hasn't been a Digimon game for the home consoles since Digimon World Data Squad (a horrible game) on PS2.

I did a quick search and it was Gundam Wing HD Remastered box sets I was thinking of. Is that what you meant, though? And Endless Waltz looked beautiful; too bad the whole TV series couldn't have looked like that.

Yeah! Thanks for the info, looks like I'll have to save up money for the boxed set lolz.

I seriously hope that more series gets an HD remake other then just DBZ.

Yeah, so far, I've only found Japanese "HD" releases of Wing. It's really just the highest possible quality releases on DVD. No Blu-ray releases, to my knowledge.

If anything, I'd really like to see Yuyu Hakusho make a comeback or a remake with new episodes. That would so awesome. I'd probably cry if it happened.

Also, it's probably already bee mentioned by Soul Eater remade like FMA:B would be cool since I know the manga is continuing and they unjustly ended the anime.

She defeated the Keeshan with BRAVERY? Wtf?

I'd like to see that too, although I'm not sure what'd they'd do. Perhaps just a movie would be enough (although it's never going to happen -_-; )
