????*??*????*?! GoPetition Thread said:
On September 1st, 2007, the show "I guess, I guess" openly insulted anime and manga fans around the world. Rather than exploring the true nature of Anime as the show originally claimed to be, the show was focused on insulting the guest fans and harshly making them appear as outcasts and geeks. Though I am sure an English or Japanese subtitled version of that day's broadcast will surface in youtube soon, let me summarize the number of remarks made during the show.

1. Anime fans are criminals who doesn't deserve to live in this world.
They are dirty, unintelligent and they don't fit in the society.

2. When the guests try to defend themselves by adding comments that
they do have social circle, have a job and girl friend. The producer simply erased those clips in order to make them stay as geekish as possible.

3. The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi(Published by Kadokawa.) was portrayed by the host of the show, Jacky Wu as a pronographic novel about high school prostitutes. As he holds up the novel of Suzumiya Haruhi and reads out loud, he made up a fake story about two high school girls abducted and sexually molested.

The show consist of Jacky Wu and the disastrous "Hei Ser Huei MeiMei"(Horrible failed copycats of Morning Musume). Jacky Wu had been known for making ignorant public opinions for years. This time he had gone too far. The concept of the shows he hosts are mainly stolen straight from Japanese media. "I guess, I guess" being one of them.

*nod nod* This show has created quite an upset for the anime community. And I wanted to spread it around. Kodokawa has demanded he apologize. But he didn't go it very well. Here is the exact quote in english:

Jacky Wu: "Give me a break, after all I'm also a fan of Suzu.. Suzumiya.. what was it again?"
random reporter: "Suzumiya Haruhi."
Jacky Wu: "Yeah! I'm a fan of Suzumiya Haruhi."

Jacky Wu said:
"Obviously what I said weren't from the novel, I'm also a Haruhi fan, it's not my fault if they can't take a little joke."

He obviously does not mean what he said nor does he care. This petition is trying to get him to apologize, it is world wide. If you can write Taiwanese I would suggest you write a letter/e-mail to him about this. The more support the more chance he will apologize.

I really hope that you will sign the petition (scroll down for english):

Try to catch me ridin' dirty, Try to catch me ridin' dirty, Try to catch me ridin' dirty.

Seriously... petitions never worked, and they aren't going to start now. Especially when its to someone who's entitled to his own opinions..

You're just wasting time and thread space.

Besides most Otaku's are SO RONERY.

Sure a few might be able to find true joy but if you've taken a look at Japans population you'd notice something.

Also most TV Stars/Movie Stars/Radio Stars are giant attention *****s.

Are those videos in Chinese subtitles or is whole thing in Kanji? Anyway I don't give a shit. It's just Jap(?) idols trying act cool. They failed miserably since they can't do it right.

They must be talking about the JAV version...D: (speaking of, that video has the weirdest fetish evar.)

Definitely Chinese (I don't know what form, maybe Cantonese/quite possibly spoken in Cantonese with Mandarin subs or the other way around). Japanese always has hiragana mixed with kanji so the particles can connect the words.

Aw, well. What do you expect from the Chinese when it comes to Japan, anyway. XD
I thought the video was pretty funny myself. Interests me more because I want to learn Cantonese (or Mandarin) sooo bad. >< (way more than Japanese, I loved China ever since I last went there. One of my fav countries!)

Edit: Aah, NM. Someone said this took place in Taiwan, which means that is probably standard Chinese script instead of simplified (which most main-land Chinese use), which would make sense to display as subs. XD

Oh well, still <3 China.

There's so much tension going on with these Asian countries.

I always thought it was just people from China that hated them. Turns out Taiwanese do as well.
