This thread is basically just a merger of the ‘Fun Happy Get the Word Out’ thread and the ‘Recommendations.’ Here, you can make announcements that you have posted a new fic or a new chapter, as well as recommend other fics and authors. However, a new post should not be made whenever a new chapter is posted, but rather a simple editing of the original post. So, there should not be any more than one post/announcement dealing with the progress of a fic. Putting in dates would probably be a good idea.
So, for example, if you make a post saying that you've released a new fic, and post the first chapter a week later, you could edit your original post to say 'Chapter 2 Added - 4/6/06'.
It would be helpful if you provided a link to the fic which you are announcing/recommending. Please follow the rules of the Cafe and don't spam up the thread. We would like it easy to navigate and sift through.
