annoying buzz noise when recording my voice help.

I just baught a plantronics .audio 350 headset microphone from bestbuy a couple of minutes ago. I tested the headphones, it has a faint beep noise on its highest volume but you cant hear it when its more silent. But when I tested the mic, It made an annoying beep sound while I record. whats wrong? is there a way to keep both the headset and mic silent?

Ok, i just checked to see if my speakers buzzed when I heard it with my computer speakers, and there was no buzz, so its probebly just the headsets. would you guys hear the buzz if i were to upload the audio and my speakers didnt?

For the microphone problems, try lowering the recording volume. I remember that everything came out crappy if I recorded things at maximum volume on Audacity.
