Who Ya Gonna Call?
I thought I'd post another rain team. here it is.
Changes in BOLD.

186.png

Politoed @Leftovers
Sassy
Drizzle
248Hp, 204Sp.Def, 56Def
-Scald
-Toxic
-Protect
-Hypnosis
Now a StallToed Scald does average damage and can burn,
Toxic and Protect lets me out-stall my opponent, and
Hypnosis is because of the fact that everyone hates getting their pokemon
put to sleep.Politoed is a staple in my team, because of drizzle. Really it's because no other non-uber
poke has drizzle. But don't tell Politoed that.

376.png

Metagross @Life Orb
Adamant
Clear Body
252Atk, 252Spe, 4Hp
-Meteor Mash
-Earthquake
-Ice Punch
-Agility
Metagross is one of my physical sweepers, and has earned his spot on this team.
Moveset is optimized for increased coverage, and Agility gives me a speed
boost.

212.png

Scizor @Focus Sash
Adamant
Technician
252Atk, 252Spe, 4Hp
-Bug Bite
-Bullet Punch
-Superpower
-Swords Dance
Scizor works very well in rain, what with fire being weakened and all. We all
know this moveset, so I'm not going to talk about it forever. Although, I will mention that sash has saved Scizor's life countless times,
and that it boosts his potential as a revenge killer.

598.png

Ferrothorn @Leftovers
Relaxed
Iron Barbs
252Hp, 64Def, 194Sp.Def
-Gyro Ball
-Protect
-Leech Seed
-Curse/Swords Dance/Filler
Ferrothorn is my physical wall and half of my defensive core. Standard moveset,
Curse/SD + Gyro Ball = Pseudo sweep.

642.png

Thundurus @Focus Sash/Life Orb
Timid
Prankster
252Sp.Atk, 252Spe, 4Hp
-Thunder
-Grass Knot
-Hidden Power(Ice)
-Taunt
Thundurus is quite a force to be reckoned with on a rain team, with STAB Thunder
coming off a base 125 special attack score is downright deadly.
Hidden Power Ice helps with foes 4x weak to ice, and helps with my coverage.
Grass Knot kills bulky waters, and Taunt wrecks lots of pokemon.

REPLACED
073.png

Tentacruel
Rain Dish/Liquid Ooze
Calm
252Hp, 252Sp.Def, 4Def
-Hydro Pump
-Toxic Spikes
-Rapid Spin
-Confuse Ray
Tentacruel completes my defensive core, and is a very nice special wall in rain,
with increased recovery from Rain Dish and Confuse Ray to hurt my opponents.
Toxic Spikes poison my foes, and Rapid Spin removes hazards from my team.
Also, Liquid Ooze could be an option to deal with Leech Seed users like
Ferrothorn.
REPLACED

REPLACED TENTACRUEL
149.png

Dragonite @Leftovers/?
Multiscale
Hasty
252Spe, 252Sp.Atk, 4Hp/Atk
-Dragon Claw
-Thunder
-Hurricane
-Roost/Dragon Dance/Filler
The mighty Dragonite. Fear his ability to learn both Thunder and Hurricane
AND be on a rain team! Spoooooky.... Dragon Claw lets me attack Blissey, and Roost heals off my damage.

Well, there's my team. it has done pretty well, but it definitely needs improvement, so rate away!

Just a few remarks. Consider using Hurricane in the rain. 100% accuracy is useful. plus what if they disable your rain. Your politoed is too fast you want it as slow as possible so you get garrenteed rain or you lose to hippowdon, tyranitar, and abomasnow. No rain for you. Maybe instead of tentacruel use toxicroak. it gets dry skin which is way better than rain dish. plus its a poison type soyou get that bit of coverage. Spikes nowadays is extremely useless with levitates so popular? i just dont find it too usefull.

Tentacruel is my special wall. Didn't you read that? Politoed runs an offensive set,
but I was going to make him into a stall Politoed anyway..... Any other advice? anyone?

EDIT: I don't know who you were talking about when you said use Hurricane, but Thundurus
can't learn it.

Okay, you can keep tentacruel if you really want it that badly. i wouldnt make a just special wall because you will get mauled by earthquake anyway. Just giving suggestions. Also the slower the Weather pokemon the better becuase of the speed. If you are slower than a tyranitar you will get your drizzle in effect. so low speed is priority first.

Politoed @Choice Specs
Timid
Drizzle
4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spe
-Surf/Hydro Pump
-Ice Beam
-Focus Blast
-Hidden Power [Electric]
Politoed running an offensive set can actually be very effective. Being slow is not necessary contrary to what Sakuma might think. This set is for taking down weather changing Pokemon. Water attacks for Ninetales, Hippowdon, and Tyranitar. Focus Blast for Abomasnow. HP Electric for opposing Politoeds. The other set works but don't think offensive Politoed is unusable.

Metagross @Life Orb
Adamant
Clear Body
252Atk, 252Spe, 4Hp
-Meteor Mash
-Earthquake
-Thunderpunch
-Agility
Metagross is one of my physical sweepers, and has earned his spot on this team.
Moveset is optimized for increased coverage, and Agility gives me a speed
boost. Thunderpunch is better for Skarmory and Gyarados.

212.png

Scizor @Life Orb
Adamant
Technician
252Atk, 252Spe, 4Hp
-Bug Bite
-Bullet Punch
-Superpower
-Swords Dance

know this moveset, so I'm not going to talk about it forever. Although, I will mention that sash has saved Scizor's life countless times,
and that it boosts his potential as a revenge killer. Focus Sash is pretty useless due to Stealth Rock/Spikes.

598.png

Ferrothorn @Leftovers
Relaxed
Iron Barbs
252Hp, 64Def, 194Sp.Def
-Gyro Ball
-Protect
-Leech Seed
-Stealth Rock/Spikes

Thundurus @Life Orb
Timid
Prankster
252Sp.Atk, 252Spe, 4Hp
-Thunder
-Grass Knot/Focus Blast
-Hidden Power(Ice)
-Taunt/Nasty Plot
Thundurus is quite a force to be reckoned with on a rain team, with STAB Thunder
coming off a base 125 special attack score is downright deadly.
Hidden Power Ice helps with foes 4x weak to ice, and helps with my coverage.
Grass Knot kills bulky waters, and Taunt wrecks lots of pokemon.

149.png

Dragonite @Leftovers
Multiscale
Modest
4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spe
-Hurricane
-Surf
-Thunder
-Roost/Dragon Pulse
This is another possible Dragonite set that works very well in the Rain. The other set works fine though.

A lot of people I fight don't set-up hazards by the time Scizor is out, and I need Ice Punch to deal with Gliscor.
Anything else?

-Roost

I made this set a while back... I think it gave you 230 speed, which after 1 agility gave you 460, which outspeeds most scarfers... Hurricane and Thunder are needed... Ehh... this is MY set... try it out.

No Comment here.

160 speed values gives Dragonite 259 Speed, and I'm testing that set now.

Bulky toad can become fodder for a few mons which set up behind the substitute. Considering that perish song can be used over hypnosis. It has good synergy with toxic and protect and can act as your phasing move. Tentracruel could use sub+toxic over tspikes and confuse ray if you are having problems spinning against jellicent or ferrothorn. Spinning away early stealth rock might be an absolute necessity with 2 pokemons weak to it and one sash user. latios outclasses dragonite when it comes to all out special attacking unless dragonite is able to safely pull off an agility while keeping the multiscale intact. Overall the team makes good use of the rain and cover all major threats. Good luck on improving it further :)
