If you're seeking to trade/battle with the DS, you're out of luck. The GBA connectivity features cannot interface with the DS's firmware, so you'll need to procure an actual GBA/SP/Micro if you desire to carry out those functions.

The micro was kinda disapointing about the connectivity (NONE)
But the DS' will not work together, and you can't even connect through 2 DS' with Pokemon either! o_O

Actually the Micro can connect to any GBA system. Check the manual of any link-enabled GBA Game (Mario Tennis for example) and it says it can. It just uses a new Aux. port that is used for charging the system and the link cables. The main problem with the Micro is that NOA hasn't released any of the link cables for it (Micro to Micro or Micro to SP). They are out in Japan, and should work on US systems, so if you really want one, I guess you could import.

*sigh* I was reading the handbook last night (should have done first) and in the Troubleshooting section there was one small section that said that any multi-player options of the GBA games cannot be accessed by the DS. That is very disappointing. Darn, they got my hopes up when I thought that I wouldn't need Colosseum to act as my link between the games. Looks like it will be now and forever. Maybe I should buy some used GBA...but those are still expensive.

A. I believe this belongs in the D/P discussion.

B. D/P enables trading so my best bet for trading is the DS game in the top slot and the GBA game in the bottom slot showing each trainers team on the two screens.

C. If you want Colosseum/XD Pokemon on your DS I'd assume you'd have to trade to GBA then DS.

This has nothing to do with D/P. o_O

Since it has ALREADY been specified that you can't trade DS to GBA or DS to DS with GBA games...
