Anyone else often get disconnected with good connection?

I've used Wi-Fi for Animal Crossing and Mario Kart many times. In Animal Crossing, there are probably only a handful of time out of many that I've had a Wi-Fi meeting without any problems whatsoever. I haven't played Mario Kart enough over Wi-Fi to be sure of what I think though. Anyway, I've gotten disconnected many times without knowing why it always happens. I have a good connection from my home router, but something wrong always seems to happen. It can't be that everyone I Wi-Fi with have bad connections and/or bad routers. I've visited other towns whose players have good routers that work very well for the Nintendo Wi-Fi. I've come to think that maybe the problem is coming from my side despite my router giving off a good signal. I have a 2Wire, which seems to work fine enough. I don't think it's the firewalls because they're disabled. I don't know how these things work so I can't see the problem if there is one. I know that the problem always arises when I meet someone, whether they visit or I visit. There are never any problems when my gates are open or I'm waiting for opponents in Mario Kart.

Is there anyone else that is experiencing many disconnections despite having a good signal?

I have a linksys, but I also have firewalls on my computer, so Animal Crossing doesn't always work. I only had one person able to come over my town. In Mario Kart, I've only been dissconnect once. Don't know why, but the game got rid of three of my losses because of it.

This happened this morning, with you Asrialys. I was only three feet away from the connecter (linksys) and I got cut off.

I'm sitting in front of my comp, with full strength, but twice I was dc'ed. My connectors even the Nintendo one! Wtf?

Time will tell.
I find that the LinkSys router I use is awesome! I dunno about the Nintendo one though.

I usually get cut off while waiting in MKDS or when my gates are open in AC:WW in about 5 and 30 minutes, respectively. I've had my connection lag out twice, and I've had my game frozen in MKDS once, which gave me three losses. --;

All within the range of my router.

You're too slow!
Okay, strange thing happened:
I connect to Wi-Fi
I try to enter a town
Says someone else is trying to enter many times
blank message box pops up
I'm forced to reset

That happens all the time. It means that you had been attempting to enter a town at the same time as another, or multiple people were as well. However, before you were able to enter said town, it became full, thus causing the blank message to appear, and your game to freeze. Very annoying. -_-

I found a glitch in Linksys. Appearently you often have two connecters, one anywhere you chose pretty much and one next to the computer. Appearently the DS often switches between those for stupid reason thus causing that small deley to cut off the connection and can't restore itself for some odd reason. Anyways this happens to me all the time, I found this out while playing in my room where the less restricted one was at good range and then changed to the other one and my connection failed. No one was in my town when this happend.
