No idea what Powerpuff Girls Z is. But I remember the Powerpuff Girls (without the Z) cartoon from back in the 90's. It had its moments, but can't say I greatly enjoyed it.

There was an anime based off of the American cartoon, it was called Power Puff Girls Z.

I have of yet to watch the entire show, but some years back, my brothers and I did watch a handful of episodes when we found them on YouTube. It was rather odd, honestly, that they turned the Powerpuff Girls into a magical girl anime, and the girls weren't even related to one-another and they're more like teenagers than they do elementary schoolgirls (but I think they might be at least ten), but for what I remember of it, it was alright. Creative liberties were taken, of course, but despite sounding like an ascended fanfic, it was okay. The girls' designs were good, and I remember the transformation sequences to be alright, and their weapons, as odd as they were, seemed to have worked out. I don't remember the villains all too well, but I liked how they looked more threatening than in the cartoon.

Of course, the original cartoon is a lot better (to an extent with the later episodes--don't get me started on the 2014 special), but I remember enjoying the anime when I did. I watched more episodes than I did Stitch!, that's for sure.

I've seen that anime a few years ago. I think it was nice. The dub though, it was trying be like the old cartoon, and I feel like it was not necessary.
