Anyone Raise Pokémon...

...out of their, "Element?" So to speak

I don't mean teaching Pokemon different elemental types of moves, but moves based for it's weaker stat (Attack/Special Attack)?

Today, I started raising a second Kecleon (I figure, why not?). I hatched some eggs to get a Modest Nature, checked IVs (Good Special Attack/Defense), and I'm raising Special Attack, Defense and some HP EV's.

So my new special attack Kecleon's attacks are Flamethrower, Sunny Day, Solar Beam and Skill Swap. I'm raising defense EV's so that the gap between Kecleons Defense and Special Defense will be smaller; sure, it'll have less Special Defense than my other Kecleon, but it'll be able to take a physical hit better, and still take the special hits.

This isn't really a topic for, "Yeah, who's a rebel and didn't follow the RULES... recommended movesets!" It's farther than that XP

Of course how else would you defeat thigns the pokemon is weak against?

I don't care...
I tend to play towards the pokemon's natural strengths. I'm not going to raise and Elemence, because her attack stat is SOOO sweet... (I have one with a perfect Attack IV :D)

Well if you rebel train then you may be better off with no EV Training at all probably.

Well my brother traded me an adament kyroge so im thinking of putting surf and 3 physical moves with it, that would definintly be doing something different.

I made a Special Rhydon once, for novelty.

Special Aggron actually has a cool (but worthless) set: Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Metal Sound.

Switching Attacks can only really be pulled off by things who have both their Attacks strong. (eg. Salamence)

I once trained a Growlithe in Defence, but I released It when I forgot to check it's IVs before training and it had the wrong kind of nature.
