The Pokémon anime episode airing Friday April 10th is... episode 133, "Towards the Final Fight"! "We can see Rakua...!" Will the Rising Volt Tacklers' operation successfully eradicate the Rakulium Core...?!
The Explorers have taken over Mt. Kumli, so in order to avoid detection, the operation involves Roy, Uruto and Friede approaching from the sky while Liko and the others approach over land! The proof of everyone's companionship is their hand sign! The time for the decisive battle in the central parts of Rakua draws near...

See Mega Evolution is this cool thing they're using in Horizons as promotion for Legends Z-A and beating a mega pokemon without your own gimmick would be something badass and cool hence why the writers won't let Liko or Dot do it.

The adults sadly do tend to stay behind when big battles are happening, which must be caused because they are not really battlers except for Ludlow kinda, the issue tho is that nobody knows he's Mighty G and it doesn't seem like they will make the reveal now, heck I'm actually wondering if they will eventually do it before HZ ends.

Maybe they'll use Metagross's previously established supercomputer brain to predict the actions of Explorers and defeat Spinel.
It's sad because Sidian/Coral/Chalce were previously established as rivals for Liko/Roy/Dot respectively, but since the writers couldn't be bothered to give the girls Megas, now the fight will be Sidian/Coral/Chalce vs Friede/Roy/Ult just so they can have their Mega vs Mega battle. It's so lame.

Really glad to see Mega Evolution finally being treated as something substantial in this series TBH. During the Mega Voltage arc, it very much seemed like as if Mega Evolution would forever remain under the shadows of Terastalization,. But the last few episodes have totally destroyed this notion. We can't really claim now that ME is treated as any less important that Terastalization. Ult & Friede have 2 Megas each, Roy has 1 Pokemon capable of Mega Evolving into 2 seperate forms, while 3 of the major antagonist characters also have been revealed to have a Mega Evolution each. It's really nice to see the writers giving some solid focus to the far superior gimmick in terms of concept/utility.
Like in this episode, the preview pretty much confirmes that we are gonna at least 6 different Megas in action (Mega Starmie, Mega Sableye, Mega Lucario Z, Mega Aerodactyl, Mega Glalie and Mega Medicham).

Was that the impression that you got last arc cuz I got the opposite. Mega Evolution got tons of showcase last arc with them having Roy pull it out in most of the battles that he was in, even having it beat Terastalization when he battled Nemona. Then there’s Ult whose entire thing is Mega Evolution being added to the cast and showing off Mega Dragonite. Meanwhile the most influential thing’s Terastalization did was have them show off Tinkatuff and Hattrem’s Tera types. Terastalization definitely got overshadowed by Mega Evolution.

Hattrem and Tinkatuff tera eps were good. Well it would be better if Hattrem learnt a new attacking psychic move like psyschock or psybeam since they were supposed to attack from afar so they wont be poisoned and then tera psychic boosts heal pulse so it can calm Vileplume down so she wouldnt LEARN A MOVE THAT KNOCKS HER OUT WTH
