April 1st: PM2019 103/104 - VS Elite Four 1 Hour Battle Special

Clemont and Bonnie's sibling dynamic brought everything to XY that I loved from May and Max in AG. Yuki Kaji and Mariya Ise, as well as Michael Liscio and Alyson Leigh Rosenfeld, just play off of each other so well.

I really hope we'll see most, if not all, of Clemont's ensemble. I think Memepin is almost a certainty, and Luxray is a high probability, though I think Bunnelby and Heliolisk are more of toss-ups.

I am glad that Clemont and Bonnie are back! I am hoping that we will see Clembot as well. I will be curious to see how Bonnie reacts to Dracovish as well. I am also looking forward to see Sirfetch’d use its signature move.

It's weird to think that a game character is getting her anime debut two whole generations after the end of the anime series based on the games she was in, but I guess there are quite a few who have gone even longer unseen. It's also nice to have another adult woman be an opponent for Ash, as until now it seemed like Cynthia would be the only one.

It is pretty nice that the 25th anniversary gets celebrated with the return of a character and ash’s first official fight againts an E4.

Now just pray as hard as possible that JN won’t drop the ball like they usually do.

I'm guessing after Ash's supposed victory in his elite four battle, his rank will put him in the Master's Class. It seems this ascension would be legitimate, seeing how this is a 1 hour special.

My only concern is will all the Master Class battles be 1 vs 1 , or will the final battle with Leon be 6 vs 6. Now that I think about it, I guess paul will likely be a member of the Masters 8, making him Ash's secondary rival to defeat before facing Leon.

Not yet. Today's episode is chapter 128. A new rumor says they might only adapt to 130 (combined with 123's flashback) so we might not even get the freedom episode.

Yeah this looks awesome, Sirfetch'd and Dracovish finally get a match to themselves after being sidelined for so long. Glad Ash is finally battling an E4 member as well, albeit I'm mixed on having yet another Dragon specialist. Wonder how he'll beat a mega without using one himself.

Still happy Sirfetch'd is getting some redemption, he really needed it after losing to Hawlucha again

Although to be fair Sirfetch'd appeared in episode 101, 102, 103 and 104, I'm glad it's getting a bit more attention

I hate JN but I’ll watch the episode dubbed just to hear Clemont and Bonnies voices again.

I just hope some of the M8 battles involve bringing reserves back. It doesn't feel like the pinnacle of all Ash's journeys if you don't bring the Pokemon that helped him reach this level.

Oh i completely forgot about this. I really hope they play some XY music. Even though getta banban is my favorite OP i hope we get kirakira in the clemont ep.

They went to the trouble of giving the main cast their own character songs, might as well use them for the occasion.

I have reason to believe that Ash's match against Drasna will mainly be Dracovish's battle.

That is that Sirfetch'd has already had a rival in Rinto's Gallade which it trained to defeat under the tutelage of Wilkstrom.

Ash's other party pokémon have also received a similar treatment; with Dragonite beating Iris' Haxorus, Lucario's Growth/ME arc used to overcome Bea's Grapploct and defeat her Machamp, Gengar's Gigantamax Arc as set-up to defeat Marnie's Grimsnarl, and Pikachu arguably being advertised as the one that will defeat Leon's Charizard in the openings.

So I think that the first half of the special will also be used as build up for Dracovish to deliver the finishing blow to Drasna's Mega Altaria.

It's looking kind of likely. They even delayed the final episode on march 27 to April 3 cause they have some announcement that day
